Family and friends Bali holiday

The property was great for a group of 7 people (could even fit more if needed). The air conditioners all worked great and the house was clean. The staff at the villa were incredible and communication with the host and staff was great. The location of the villa was perfect and was very quiet and hidden away. The only issue that we had was there was a terrible odour in the downstairs bathroom that didn’t seem to subside, even after cleaning. Would stay again if the odour was sorted out.

12 day stay

The property is well suited to adults and teens, there is an extra lounge for them update and adults downstairs. Cintya - the house maid / Wonder Woman is awesome. She went over and above when we had to use a doctor at 10pm she was our translator and she organised it all. Nengah- the driver was great never late and a very safe driver. Highly recommended.

Nothing like advertised

The villa was run down mouldy, the roof leaked. The pool had cracked and broken tiles and chlorine levels not right I tested it.The toilets blocked up and smelt. The beds and linens were old and terrible. The towels one each small and old and rough, half the taps and showers didn’t work properly. The stairs that steep we couldn’t get suitcases up the stairs our lovely driver had to help us. The windows were so rotten we were told by the cleaners not to open them. In the end we could only us 2 of the 4 bedrooms due to rain coming in and mould all over the ceiling.The host was no responsing but your help Lin was very good and responded to all are concerns quickly Thank you for that.

Best holiday ever

What an amazing place .Villa Cocoon Oberoi was perfect for our large family of 7 adults. We were surprised at how large the bedrooms and bathrooms were and the beautiful staff made us feel like royalty.The pool was amazing and the location was perfect. 5 mins walk to the beach and 10 mins walk to the shopping strip. Beautiful quiet and safe . What more could you ask for. Best holiday ever. We will be back again as soon as we can organise the family . Thankyou Nick and Staff .

Great value

The property is very well located, in the center of everything but still tucked away. The staff are super lovely. Pool was cleaned regularly. Beds we big and comfortable. Just a few things to consider, I was working while travelling and was unable to do so from the house because the wifi was so slow it's basically non existent ( I know lame but it pays the bills) However The Straw Hut cafe is around the corner has great wifi if needed. Also in terms of cookware a few basic things were missing from the kitchen. Other than that the stay was all around pleasant.

Perfect house!

We were with 5 people and its was perfect! Insane location close to the beach on seminyak and only 10min to kuta with the scooter (with traffic jam) and only 20mi to changgu with scooter. The house gets cleaned daily (except sunday) and even the pools get claned often. The pool has the perfect size for some volleybal. We bought a inflatable net and bal and had a blast. Ceck in draws in the living room, we left it in the house for other to enjoy. Made (the driver) gets an A for hospitality and can help you out for trips if you want to go more inland. The cleaning ladies can get you a scooter directly the day you arrive. I can recommend this house to everyone but the stair upstairs are uneven so for some poeple this can be a problem. We didnt have any issue so besides from that a great house to explore Bali from.

Een prachtige woning

Woning komt overeen met hetgeen staat beschreven. Onze chauffeur had wel moeite om het te vinden. Seminyak is wel een hele drukke plaats. Vanaf de woning lopend goed te doen en het strand eveneens. De woning had 3 ruime slaapkamers. Wij hebben er goede dagen gehad

Fantastic Villa Best Location Family Retreat

What a magnificent villa . Our family of 7 adults had the best holiday at Nicks Villa Cocoon . The rooms were large and the bathrooms were beautiful .Fantastic location in walking distance to beach and shopping strip with fantastic restaurants and bars. The pool was amazing and the staff were second to none. We were spoilt with daily cleaning a wonderful driver and the best breakfast at a low cost in Bali Thankyou so much Nick and Staff ,.You made us feel like royalty. Cant wait to come back Kindest regards Linda Reynolds Sydney .Australia

Average to Good

1. This Villa is not user friendly for children as the steps to the second floor are to steep to traverse safely down. 2. Being told by the house maid that All toilet paper is Not to be flushed and to be placed in bins near by. As out of 12 days and the maid having 5 days off made for smelly bathrooms. 3. Yes it does have a 'extra bedroom - game room' upstairs. There is only a ceiling fan - no air conditioning and also no blinds to shut. Made for a very hot room. Also the only TV is in that that room, makes it useless to use as it's to hot. 4. Please do not look for a name as there is no signage stating which it is (making it hard for drivers to find). On a positive note all the beds are very comfortable, all 'bedrooms' have their own air conditioner and ensuite. The pool kept very clean and is quite deep. Nice Villa but will not be returning

Carina, Sweden - stayed 26/12/2015-2/1/2016

Very close to the beach and Jalan Oberoi - neighbour to Ku De Ta but still in a quiet lane (Gang Drona). Staff was nice, we asked for breakfast and for additional price that was easily arranged. Made who is a good driver to hire, is both fun and priceworthy - he'll gladly arrange a daytrip. Made is connected to Villa Coocon Oberoi. The villa is clean and has both a tropical and european touch. If you're independent and don't need a butler 24/7 this villa is highly recommendable for a family with adult kids - or a group of friends.
