Villa Roland är ett stenhus på 125 m2 som totalrenoverades, beläget i Beaune-regionen, i staden Chagny, 15 minuter med bil och 10 minuter med tåg från den magnifika medeltida staden Beaune.

Huset är helt oberoende och ligger längst ner i vår fastighet som består av ett borgerligt hus och denna hyra på 2500 m2 trädbevuxen och inhägnad mark. Stugan är säker och tyst omgiven av grönska (cirka 1000 m2 tilldelad stugan), dekorerad med flera terrasser, oavsett om de är täckta eller inte, och en carport.

Villa Roland ligger helt och hållet på en nivå och består av två sovrum på 12 m2 vardera som rymmer upp till 5 personer (1 säng på 200 x 160 i sovrum 1, 1 säng på 190 x 140 och en säng på 190 x 90 i sovrum 2), ett badrum på 9 m2 med en mycket stor duschkabin på 3 m2, ett rymligt toalettrum, ett tvättstuga, ett huvudrum på 55 m2 med sitt- och matplats och kök fullt utrustat, en 14 m2 veranda som vetter mot en 20 m2 terrass med elektrisk persienn. Huset är fullt utrustat med allt du behöver för att njuta av din vistelse i Bourgogne: sänglinne och badrum, turistinformation, böcker, spel, TV, musik, WIFI internet ...
Vissa delar av stugan är tillgängliga för funktionshindrade (SDB, WC ...). Små djur accepteras.

Ligger 5 minuters promenad från centrala Chagny, gör stugan dig både att njuta av lugnet på landsbygden och stadens bekvämligheter (tillgång till många affärer, restauranger, kommunal pool, tågstation i närheten).
Chagny är lugnt och omgiven av de mest prestigefyllda vingårdarna i Bourgogne: Chassagne Montrachet, Pommard, Meursault, Rully, Santenay (och dess kasino), Givry, Mercurey, det är en mycket central liten stad. Chagny är känd för sin stora lokala söndagsmarknad mellan Beaune, centrum för vinodling i regionen och Chalon-sur-Saône, fotografens vagga. Detta exceptionella läge möjliggör enkel åtkomst, med tåg eller bil, till fots eller med cykel, till många turistplatser: greenway (200 m), vingårdar, källare, slott, sjöar, medeltida byar, inte glömma Dijon, huvudstaden i Bourgogne och Lyon, som ligger bara 1,5 timmar från stugan.

Wonderful Holiday in Burgundy

Christelle and Jose are very gracious hosts. We spent a month in their villa and highly recommend a stay. We enjoyed walking in the surrounding hills and along the canal. The town of Chagny has several good restaurants and Beaune, with its many restaurants and caves, is just a ten minute train ride. Thank you Christelle, for a memorable time! Marylee and Mike

Chagny

Easy walking distance to the village and a good place so base yourself and explore the Burgundy region. Whilst the train line is very nearby we visited in late June and had the shutters down and the fan on overnight so the noise was minimal. All the windows are also double glazed so it was not really an issue for us.

Schönes geräumiges Haus

Das Haus ist sehr nah am Ortszentrum. Morgens schnell ein frisches Brot besorgen oder abends zu Fuß zum Restaurant ist kein Problem. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und bemüht, den Aufenthalt angenehm zu machen. Aber auch sehr zurückhaltend und überhaupt nicht aufdringlich. Die Nähe zur Bahnstrecke ist nicht ganz leise, die Züge in Frankreich sind aber deutlich leiser als in Deutschland. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Très beau gîte, très belle découverte de la région !

Grand merci à Christelle et José pour leur accueil chaleureux. L’annonce est conforme à nos attentes. Le gîte est aménagé avec goût, parfaitement équipé, nous avons profité de cet intérieur cosy où tout est pensé pour le confort des vacanciers. Merci à tous les deux d’avoir accepté nos deux chats. Les propriétaires sont arrangeants quant aux heures d’arrivée et de départ. Prenez soin de vous Chers Christelle et José, vous qui êtes bienveillants avec ceux qui ont la chance de vous côtoyer.

Traditionally furnished gite.

Great location to visit the Bourgogne vineyards. Nice town of Chagny with a large weekly, Sunday market. Great hosts on site, but unfortunately the gite is close to a very busy railway, with passenger and freight traffic throughout the day and evening.

Une maison tout confort pour 5 et une hote adorable

La maison est agréable, très grande est très bien équipée. Notre hôte nous a attendu jusqu’à minuit passé lors de notre arrivée et a été de très bon conseil tout au long du séjour. Nous avons passé un excellent week-end en visitant une région magnifique.

Warm and inviting!

This was a wonderful place, with plenty of room to spread out both inside and out. We really enjoyed being in a homelike environment after weeks in hotels. The property is situated close to rail tracks but we did not find that a deterrent, and rail traffic stopped in the evening anyway. Everything was clean, neat and nicely decorated and the boulangerie bakery is only a few steps away!!

Comme à la maison

Que dire de ce gîte si ce n'est qu'il est bien agencé, qu'il y a tout ce dont on a besoin, que le cadre est agréable, que la possibilité de déjeuner dehors est un plus et surtout que les propriétaires Christelle et José sont des gens charmants qui mettent les vacanciers à l'aise - merci à vous. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour et fait de très belles visites au alentour

Look no further!

This is a fully furnished 2 bedroom bungalow/Gite which has everything including a large internet tv, a PC workstation, WII sport system and a huge shower area with multi nozzle shower. It is situated on the edge of Chagny and very convenient for shops, supermarkets and restaurants and only 10 miles from Beaune. There is also a lot of outdoor seating space and garden area. Finally the hosts, Jose and Christelle are very charming and helpful.We increased our 5 day stay to 7 days as we loved the Gite and area so much. We highly recommend the property and would stay again at the drop of a hat. Thanks Christelle and Jose for a lovely stay.

tres joli gite

Les proprietaires sont tres sympa, le gite a tous qu'on voulait et qu'on a besoin. Chagny est joli ville avec tous dedans. Les magasins sont a coté, marché de dimanche est tres joli. Il ya plusieurs restaurant ( un de 3 etoiles mais oaussi plusieurs local tres sympathique) a pied. Les grands vignobles de Bourgogne sont pas loin aussi, Beaune a 20 minutes en voiture.

Sehr gastfreundlich, sehr gut eingerichtet

Wir haben uns in dem Cottage sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir waren rundum gut versorgt und unsere Gastgeber waren überaus freundlich zu unseren Kindern und unserem Hund. Wir werden auf jeden Fall bei unserem nächsten Aufenthalt in der Burgund wieder in das Ferienhaus kommen. Es ist sehr empfehlenswert.

Très beau gîte.

Nous avons eu un séjour fabuleux dans le gîte chez José et Christelle, ce sont des gens très sympa. La maison est très propre et très bien meublée, il ne manque absolument rien. Le logement correspond exactement aux photos du site. Nous avons apprécie le cadeau un très bon crémant de Bourgogne. Un très belle endroit à conseiller sans réserve. L' accueil très chaleureux de Christelle.

Comfortable Cottage in a town.

We stayed 2 weeks in the cottage, in the hottest period in France since 1945. There is every convenience with plenty of space. Meals were taken on the terrace every day under the awning. It is very convenient for the excellent Sunday market in the town which is within 5 mins walk. We visited several of the chateaux and vineyard in the area, and the interesting small villages in the area. Due to the excessive heat extra fans would be appreciated, Christelle was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. It must be mentioned that you are quite close to the railway.

Formidable !

Nous avons eu un sejour fabuleux dans Villa Roland chez José et Christelle. Ce sont des gens très sympathique, accueillants et discrets. Ils font tous les efforts pour que les invités se sentent à la maison. La maison est extrèmement propre et très bien meublée, la literie est très bonne et vraiment "tout" est là. Chagny est une petite ville agréable où tout est disponible. Un point de départ idéal pour explorer la belle région viticole avec ses villages authentiques. Il y a quelques très bons restaurants à Chagny et à quelques kilomètres il y en a encore plus d'autres. Nous sommes très satisfaits de la maison et de l'hospitalité. Certainement un des meilleurs séjours jamais. Nous y retournerons certainement....... Un grand merci spécial pour Christelle pour la facon dont mes deux petits chiens étaient aussi les bienvenus, il m'a frappé, formidable !

Gezellig sfeervol Rn van alle gemakken voorzien!

We hebben een heerlijke mini vakantie gehad in de bourgogne. Dichterbij de grote wijnhuizen kan bijna niet. Het huisje heeft alles wat je maar kunt bedenken nodig te hebben. Van voetbaltafel tot wasmachine, van bbq tot pc. Wij komen zeker terug!

Great two bedroom apartment in convenient location

We had such a wonderful stay at Christelle and Jose's and loved basing our stay in Burgundy in Chagny. Christelle and Jose were wonderful hosts and made us and our two boys (10&12) feel welcome upon our arrival and during our 4 night stay. The accommodations are as described, clean, and felt big and roomy with plenty of space for us to spread out and not be on top of each other. Beds were comfortable. Bedroom/bathroom area has a door separating it from the living room. The kitchen had everything we needed. The walk in shower was a treat. Table outside is gets evening shade so we ate there several nights. Kids loved the WII and being able to play in the grass in the yard. The apartment is behind Chistelle and Jose's house, within the same fenced in yard but we felt like we had plenty of privacy. A nice boulangerie is less than 5 minutes walk. The house is just a couple of minutes walk to the train station so you don't need a car to stay here. There is noise from the busy train tracks nearby but we never felt it was too much. Chagny may be off the radar for many people looking to tour Burgundy but it worked really well for us. Chagny is a real town without lots of hotels, shops, or attractions. But the downtown is has lots of activity and small stores, is quite attractive, has many cafe's, plenty of good restaurants, and a great Sunday market. We found some of the small really beautiful towns in Burgundy to be deathly silent with little activity. And Beaune is a little too busy for us with many of hotels and tourist buses. Chagny is a really well balanced town in a convenient location. We rented bikes from the very friendly tourist office in town - only a 10 minute walk away. Chistelle and Jose's place is right across the street from the canal bike paths and a 15 minute bike ride to Santenay and the bike ride through the vineyards that extends all the way to Beaune. We also drove several days to the natural pool in Beaune, which our boys loved after a few hours of biking.
