Great littke cabin

Great little cabin on frozen pond. Was snowing when there made it very cozy. Was tree lighting while we were there - was like a hallmark movie.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend at the cottage on Bantam Lake. The cottage is very comfortable, clean and attractive with a spectacular view of the lake. We would definitely return and would enjoy a summer stay with access to the lake and private beach.

Lakefront cottage, dock, view

We loved this well equipped cottage with great views of the lake and sunsets. A quiet lake (electric motors only). Choose a rod from the rack and fish from the dock, or use the available canoe, kayak, paddle boards, or rowboat.

Amazing cottage

Beautiful cottage on a private lake. Peaceful and clean property. We were all extremely happy with the location and the amenities. Property owner is easy to communicate with and was extremely helpful with the booking.

Relaxing

Lakeview was awesome, cozy cottage with everything you needed, sitting out on the deck having coffee, or watching the sunset at night with a fire lite. Very relaxing atmosphere. For the price you cannot beat it!

Relaxed Reunion

We thoroughly enjoyed our four day stay at Maura’s cozy cottage. Cottage feels more spacious than website pictures convey. Sunsets on the lake were spectacular. Maura was a great host. Easily and quickly answering all questions asked. We’ll be back. Thanks again Maura.

Bethlehem Lake cottage

Absolutely adorable cottage on the lake! We loved this quiet little house—we read books, slept in, grilled dinner and watched the sunrise and sunset on the deck. Loved every minute of it. We hope to return someday!

Wonderful stay!

The property was great, and fulfilled our needs to see a little bit of fall! The cottage was comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed! We enjoyed sitting on the dock, and even caught a couple of fish! The host provided linens as we were traveling by plane from out of town, that was appreciated. However, there was no bath mat, or mats for the back door (it rained one day, and a mat was needed!) The only other issue was there were no trash bags provided, so taking the trash with us was difficult! Overall, it was such a lovely place and we would definitely return!

Serene lake cottage

We had another wonderful stay at this well equipped lake cottage, and we plan to return. The lake is quiet with only paddling or electric motors. Close to White memorial hiking trails, and also to restaurants in Bantam, Bethlehem, and Litchfield.

Greatly enjoyed this stay - beautiful location. Some minor quibble with mattress comfort and not the best pots and pans/utensils however these were not deal breakers by any means. Would highly recommend.

Perfect Getaway

My wife and I came back for a return visit to this comfortable, well-equipped cottage perfectly situated with a large deck as well as dock on a pretty lake. Swimming was great and the surrounding area is very pretty. Maura couldn't have been more responsive as a host. It is located off a small road (10 per hour speed limit!) with access only for the owners' properties, so no through-traffic sounds.

Back in 1995, my grandmother wanted to find a peaceful cottage to spend her summers. After looking at many cottages at many lakes, she chose Kasson Grove to spend her time. A peaceful and quiet area, she enjoyed herself immensely and had many gathering with her friends and family year after year until her passing.

Since taking over the cottage with my brother, we have striven to keep things simple and quiet. We have done many cottage updates over the years, the last being a new roof and air conditioning in 2019.

My brother and I, along with the rest of our extended family, have enjoyed the lake cottage so much over the years. However, now that our own children are getting older and busier, we have decided that others should also have the opportunity to enjoy a quiet and restful retreat. We began renting the cottage in the last few years, and continue to listen to suggestions to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.
