We stayed here while in town for a wedding in Litchfield and couldn’t have picked a better spot. The beds were super comfy, and all the cozy touches—soft blankets, good coffee, and a comfy couch with plenty of lap blankets—made it feel like home. The place was really clean and airy but still felt tucked away in a peaceful, woodsy area.We also loved all the thoughtful details, like extra travel toothbrushes, loofahs, and really nice shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom. You can tell the host put a lot of care into making guests feel welcome. We’re moving to Kansas soon but will definitely want to stay here again when we come back to visit!

Very clean and quiet stay. We were greeted by some lovely gaggle of lady turkeys who really liked the property while we were staying. A wonderful and kind toad at night, some arguing owls another night, all in all abvery nice place. 2 sepwrate bedrooms with a loft bed separate in the living room. The ductless split wall units were more than sufficient for our heating and cooling needs. The kitchen is really stocked all the pans/cookware. You may wznt to get your own spices, but she provided olive oil and spray. A toaster, coffee maker with different selections of coffee available. A cooler, ice paks, pretty much all conviences of home. The washer/dryer combo does take about 4-5hours to complete and is very loud, so plan on doing your wash in the day. We didnt use the inflatable kayak, so i dont know if its ok or not. There is a nice patio with 2 tables and a nice yard. It is a very walkable space as well. Overall, we would stay again.

Not Lakefront

I was under the impression that this was lakefront and its not. The place it fine but cheap on spare pillows or blankets. The heating system needs and electrical engineer to figure out and it inadequate. The bathroom and kitchen are excellent

This was my second time staying here, and it was just as great as the first! The place is clean, beautiful, and very comfortable. Everything was well taken care of, and the space has a warm, welcoming feel. I'm already looking forward to coming back again!

Wonderful host!

Mariana is a wonderful host. She communicates well and is very efficient in responding to any questions or inquiries you may have.The cabin is very clean, and has just about everything you would need. We really enjoyed using the fireplace! 10/10 recommend.

Perfect New Year Spot

My partner and I stayed here for three days over the new year. Lovely location with very comfortable amenities. Perfect to just settle in and stay cozy in the winter. I will certainly be back during the warm weather to explore the nearby beach

Mother and Daughter Girls Trip

The cabin was absolutely adorable and perfect for our Gilmore Girls trip. It was so cute and the host added so many thoughtful touches. We loved just hanging out in the house and when we went out, it is about 15 minutes from all the places we wanted to see.

Fantastic Stay

We spent a beautiful weekend having a mother daughter “Gilmore Girls” getaway. The cabin was absolutely perfect! We were close to all the small towns we wanted to see, the Mayflower Inn, and then we came home every night to a beautiful hideaway to relax! The host thought of literally everything! Even ponytail holders. She was easy to communicate with and an amazing decorated! Such a fun trip!

A Time for Relaxation

Deer Ridge Cabin was wonderful! Very clean with a cozy relaxing atmosphere. Nice accommodations with everything one would need. Its obvious that host Mariana put alot of time and thought into creating a warm inviting environment. I would surely recommend a stay at Deer Ridge Cabin. Thank you, Dana

Loved the attention to detail!

Excellent host in a charming neighborhood! The little details really made it- family games, access to paddle boards and kayaks for the lake and a basket with sunscreen/bugspray/flashlight. Very welcoming.

A world away

We live in Connecticut, but wanted a quick weekend away somewhere that felt like we were far away on vacation. This house did not disappoint. We loved the chic setting. It looks like it’s right out of a house magazine. The house is fully stocked. The owner thought of absolutely everything. We loved getting out on the paddleboard on the lake. The whole neighborhood is so peaceful. The deck is a great place to sit and read a book. There’s so much nearby —March farm for produce and Friday night concerts, the food trucks at Pasture, Popey’s for ice cream, and Nick’s country kitchen for breakfast! We will definitely be back. Counting the days.
