Heart of Blowing Rock

Det centrala gågatan i Blowing Rock sträcker sig från Blowing Rock Art & History Museum och St. Mary of the Hills på södra sidan av Main Street till Speckled Trout and Camp Coffee Roasters på nordsidan, med parken samt flera butiker och restauranger däremellan. De flesta människor, inklusive många lokalbefolkningen, inser inte att det finns ett familjhem på Main Street inom detta centrala gågata. De passerar den ridande ner Main Street, och om de stannar vid postkontoret kör de rätt längs med detta pittoreska tegelhem från 1920-talet när de går ut. Det är en lugn, glad liten plats mitt i hjärtat av Blowing Rock.

Vi köpte detta hem förra hösten, med avsikt att gå i pension där. Men med pension på ett decennium eller två borta planerar vi att hyra det här två sovrumshuset med två badrum till dem som delar vår passion för byn som bor i Blowing Rock. Du kan skicka frågor till oss på ben @ 945main. com.

Absolutely Perfect Stay – 5 Stars!

We had the most wonderful experience staying at this beautiful home in Blowing Rock on Main Street. The location truly couldn’t be better — we were just steps away from everything we needed, yet still enjoyed a quiet and peaceful atmosphere.I brought my mom, dad, and my two youngest children, and it was perfect for all of us. The home was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable for our multi-generational group. Every detail was thoughtfully provided, and it truly felt like a home away from home.We all agreed this was one of the best vacations we've ever had. Between the unbeatable location, stunning design, and pristine condition of the home, it exceeded all our expectations. We will absolutely be coming back and recommending this place to our friends and family!

2nd time as great as first

Our second visit to the Blake. Can’t say enough about the charm of the home, the decor, and the location. We love all things Blowing Rock and our love now includes The Blake. It’s like walking into your own home it’s so cozy. Eric is always communicative and helpful. We’ll be back!

Incredible House in Elite Location

We loved our stay and the convenience + walkability to shops/restaurants was amazing. The house was decorated for Christmas and it was the perfect festive getaway for my family’s annual trip to Blowing Rock.

Whimsy and Nostalgia

Unique, cozy, comfortable & convenient. Well appointed & practically labeled. Filled w/ fun local decor, both whimsical spring/Easter & rustic rural antiques. Such a treat for our Blowing Rock native 91yo mother! Fabulous porch for soaking up glorious mountain breezes reminiscing about this quaint town she grew up in. Thanks for the memories, new and old.

Perfect Location in Blowing Rock

Our family had an amazing stay at this beautiful house in Blowing Rock. We were in the area for a music festival and were so happy to retreat to The Blake after a long day of music. The house was spacious and had everything we needed. We loved being right on Main Street with easy access to amazing restaurants, the playground for our kids and ice cream every night. We are already planning a return trip!

This is our second time spending time in this beautiful downtown Blowing Rock home. If you want to be in the heart of Blowing Rock and stay in a picturesque setting, this is the place for you. The owner Eric is very accommodating and will go out of his way for you.

Wonderful Stay in Blowing Rock

We had a great time staying at The Blake in Blowing Rock. You cannot beat the location - walking distance to restaurants and shops as well as a short drive to App Mtn and Boone. The house is very clean, comfortable and well appointed - they have everything you need. The owner is very responsive and helpful with any questions and/or needs. We will definitely be back!

In early October of 2020 we had the pleasure of purchasing this beautiful home from our dear friends Virginia and Ben. It has been a dream come true for us as we passed this home every day taking our little ones to school at Blowing Rock Elementary. My wife Mary Allison, growing up in Charlotte came here often to see her grandparents who has had a home in Blowing Rock since the 1940s. Myself originally from St. Petersburg, FL has never loved a place so much. In 2018 we took that giant leap and moved our family from Florida to the beautiful quaint town of Blowing Rock, NC. We currently live 10 min from main street in Blowing Rock and we couldn't imagine being anywhere else! "The Blake" is named after our youngest and only daughter Blake who is 3 and we have two other children both boys, Brinker and Brooks. On behalf of our entire family we hope you love our little town as much as we do and that you fall in love with "The Blake" Eric, Mary Allison, Brinker, Brooks and Blake
