Välkommen till Commodore 1 i Depoe Bay! Denna underbara lägenhet har två sovrum och två badrum, perfekt för att rymma upp till fyra gäster! Du kommer att ha fantastisk utsikt över Stilla havet från denna lägenhet på första våningen, både inifrån och ut! Känn dig fri att utforska gräsbevuxet område med utsikt över Stilla havet från denna klippa sida hyra hem! Steg inuti Commodore 1 och du hittar en vackert inredd hyra som du ofta vill återkomma till! Det finns gott om plats att lägga sig och koppla av i vardagsrummet, och du får en vacker utsikt över vattnet utanför de stora fönstren, tillsammans med mycket naturligt ljus under sommarmånaderna. Njut av några filmer på den stora platt-TV och håll dig varm med eldstaden under de stormiga vintermånaderna. Du hittar bakdörren som leder utifrån direkt från vardagsrummet, tillsammans med matbordet och köket. Köket har allt du behöver för att göra en hemlagad måltid eller du kan njuta av lite ta ut vid matbordet. Det första sovrummet har en king size-säng medan den andra har en queen size-säng, vilket gör denna hyra perfekt för en besökande familj på fyra att njuta av! Det första badrummet har en dusch medan den andra har en dusch och badkar combo, bra för att bada små barn medan du är på din vistelse! Medan du är i Depoe Bay-området, var noga med att besöka butikerna längs Highway 101 för mat och souvenirer, och kanske till och med gå ut på en whale touring ship medan du är h��r! Perfect location in town to everything. We could walk to places and had a view from this unit that allowed to see the coast and a whale. The layout of the unit was also ideal allowing quiet in the bedrooms for naps/sleeping and everyone else could be up and about in the living room and kitchen. Very homey. We loved it.

Whale watching R&R

We had excellent weather and lots of whales visible from the room and the grassy area. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I love this place.

The view from the condo was amazing! There was plenty of dining near by. All accommodations were very comfortable.

Two small complaints; first the washer didn't work, and one of the stoppers in the master bathroom sink didn't work, so the sink couldn't drain. The view from the condo was superb, and everything else was fine.

Great for Whale Watching

The location is perfect for amazing views of the bay, as well as walking distance to the shops, restaurants and other fun, touristy things. You can also walk over to some rock cliffs for even more panoramic ocean views.

We gave this place 3 stars because the view is stunning and it has a cozy living room with fireplace - perfect for winter. -Also the property management team were nice. However- some real issues to to fix. (I sent pictures to the property mgmt.) Broken lamp (only one in living room) Broken lamp shade Torn shower curtain Cracked molding or none at all Stains on dining chairs If these issues are addressed- we would stay again.

Wonderful for whale watching

Excellent location, great view of the bay with lots of whales. The kitchen was well stocked with everything to cook with. The unit appears to be in the process of being updated, but overall a pleasant experience.

AWESOME!

GREAT condo! We LOVE staying here. This was our second stay for girls weekend trip. And we will be back soon for another one! Only problem we did have was fireplace would not shut off :( BUT that won't stop us from staying again! LOVE THIS CONDO! and its location is perfect!

Beautiful views

This was a comfortable space with beautiful views. The trash was hard to find the last day and the TV in the master bedroom did not work (needed better instructions ). The beds were comfortable and there was a great kitchen for breakfast meals.

Great location. Whale watching all day if you wanted to

Please replace the king bed

The king bed was so noisy we woke each other up every time we rolled over. We enjoyed the rest of the condo but that bed will keep us from coming back.

Great location; poor accommodations

We've stayed at Harbor many times over 25 years, and find that Commodore 1 is the poorest of the lot. Filthy carpeting; horribly mis-matched furniture, and only the bare minimum of amenities.

Depoe Bay on the cliff

We loved the location and the view!!! It was a great stay, but there are some things that could use attention. The corner of the rug near the dining room is curled up, a tripping hazard. Could just turn the rug so that corner is not in a main traffic area. It needs some placemats or coasters as I feared making a ring or stain on the lovely wood dining table or coffee table when setting down a glass of liquid, hot plate, or hot coffee. In the kitchen which was great, I would suggest some rubber or silicone spatulas, garlic as a spice that would be more needed than some of the ones there, and sharpen the knives that aren't serrated. Biggest complaint is that the explanations for remote and TV did not apply at all as not the same brand or anything, in fact the whole TV section of the notebook was useless. Some explanations of how to get channels if not streaming netflix or prime would be so helpful!!! The couch really needs replaced as it is worn and hard to get out of because the cushions have lost their support. Because it is so worn looking, it takes away from the beauty of the room and makes it appear old. Also, had we checked ahead of time, probably would have used the bed in the second bedroom instead of the master bedroom suite. The mattress in the master suite is so soft, makes noise when turning over, and you sink in it, I would really suggest its replacement. If these things were fixed, I'd book this for every trip to the coast and give it a 5 star rating.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the review I submitted to Homeaway: We have stayed in units in this complex before and love the location and view over the bay in Depoe. This unit, however was substandard to the other unit we've rented in this complex. As we settled in to this unit we noticed the venetian blinds were lowered so I proceeded to raise them so we could enjoy the view of the bay. As I pulled on the cord the entire blind fixture broke from its brackets hitting my forehead and knocking my glasses off. The resulting bruise to my forehead proceeded to form a black eye. The rest of my stay in Depoe Bay was less than wonderful due to the pain and resulting ugly black eye. Where rentals such as this do show some wear and tear this particular incident needs to be fixed due to potential injury. My situation did not require a trip to the ER, but very well could have considering the location of the injury. We contacted the management as soon as this happened and to also ask assistance to access the TV. They said they would send a maintenance person, but as we checked out two days later no one had appeared. In addition, this unit has a view to the bay, but is also located at the end of the complex close to the road. Those that stay here should know that there is traffic noise. On a positive note, the other guests thought their bedroom and bathroom were very nice and comfortable. Kitchen was clean and well supplied with pans and utensils for cooking.

Would NOT recommend for renters with small children or elders

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: While the decor was pleasant (if with worn furniture) and the unit is next to the highway (expected), there were several safety concerns we have about the unit. There were also odd problems, as listed below. KITCHEN-a hole in the wall partially covered by a blank outlet cover (perhaps access to the under cabinet lights which did not work and we never found a switch?) Microwave powered by an extension cord draping to an outlet under the window-child hazard. Floor-length blind cords, also child hazard. Knives VERY dull w/o sharpener or steel-dangerous to ANYBODY. Living room-apparently new runner and area rug-ends not fastened down. After tripping several times, and anticipating the visit from an 85 y/o elder, we finally rolled up the runner and put it away for the duration, also placed a heavy chair on the corner of the area rug as a warning. Four exposed wires in the corners (approx 1 foot long) turned out to be severed speaker wires, requiring a visit from maintenance for confirmation. Loose section of blind cover left in the area. Carpet soiled with (grease?) spots. Blind cords also reaching to floor. Master bed/bath-walkin closet had a moderate-sized hole in the ceiling dripping water,, "cured" prior to our arrival by the placement of a kitchen saucepan. The shower head mount is unsecured. The TV also has dangling power cords - child hazard. The loose laundry room door handle had been inexpertly "mended" by using a block of wood and nails - loose and likely to be pulled out. In short, although the unit could be quite nice, the safety issues and inexpert maintenance means we could not recommend it for anyone with children or elders in their party. The highway noise was surprisingly unobtrusive. We were able to adequately prepare a family birthday celebration with the precautions cited above. With the exception of the carpet, housekeeping was pristine, as we would expect from OBV. The unit could use some basic housekeeping tools, such as a broom/dustpan, etc.
