"By the Bay" är en vuxen enda etablering och har en av de mest unika, ständigt föränderliga, havsutsikt på hela kusten. Vågaktiviteten är spektakulär och väldigt terapeutisk, särskilt under de frekventa vinterstormarna. Vi njuter också av en havsutsikt under låga tidpunkter. Charterbåtarna kommer alltid till vår åsikt när de hittar valarna.

Detta mysiga ett sovrum är en 700 kvm, säker och privat "Home Away from Home". Denna lägenhet ligger på bottenvåningen utan några steg, perfekt för 2 vuxna. Vi är minst 60 'över havet och bara 100 yds. från den steniga strandlinjen. Vi är centralt beläget och inom bekvämt gångavstånd från hamnen och alla Depoe Bays restauranger, shopping och andra attraktioner. Vårt enrumslägenhet ligger på bottenvåningen, Ocean sidan, och ligger i samma byggnad som vår 1200 kvadratmeter tre säng Stadsbostad. Ingångar och parkering finns på motsatta sidor av byggnaden. Det finns en 6'-cementmur som ger fullständig integritet och delar upp "Wing Wa" kinesisk lounge parkeringsplats från hyrorna. Den mycket populära 'Tidal Raves' Oceanfront Restaurant & en stadspark ligger precis över Hwy. 101. "Tidal Raves" öppnar klockan 11 varje dag och stänger för januari månad för en månad varje år. Denna romantiska, rena och mysiga, enrumslägenhet är trimmad med "Alaskan, Old Growth Cedar". Ta med dina 78, 45 eller 33 RPM-poster för att spela på Victorla-skivspelaren. Hemmet har alla kakelgolv, en gas logg spis, en ny drottning minne skum madrass, plus alla samma bekvämligheter som vår stad hem. Denna enhet har en privat, Ocean View, täckt, vindskyddad, "Alaskan Old Growth Cedar" Patio. Den här enheten passar bäst för 2 vuxna. Very nice and clean place. Close to many restaurants so you could walk to them. Only issue was with GPS getting you to location. It actually took you a few buildings away. Shane was very nice great guy. We will be back.

It was not as advertised. Filthy inside. Infested with ants. Owner refused to address the situation. Wouldn't refer anyone to this dive.

This lady was not civil at all. She complained about these very small black Ants, we see this time of year. She expected me to bring in another cleaning crew because the place was filthy. We did not call in the cleaning people because we knew just how clean we always keep our rental. She said that they wanted to cancel, So, I canceled for them. Now I have been punished by VRBO for doing so.

The room wasn't ready when we got there 7 hours after check-in. The caretaker was coming out as we were trying to unlock the door. He asked us to come back which means we weren't in our room until after 10pm. He lives in a space on the other side of the bathroom and smokes which means privacy is an illusion and the entire place reeked of smoke. The view mentioned was of the new construction on the very nice restaurant across the street. The place was cute, the bed was ok, having the washer and dryer was super handy.

Security . We took a nap at 6pm we were awoke by someone in the living area. We had locked the door but not the dead bolt. They used the key from the outside box to get in. They proceded to argue with me that they had the room. I asked them to leave and call the owner. They sat outside and did nothing. I went out and told them if they did not call them I would. I said are u sure you are not in the other unit. They said oh there is another unit. They checked it out and they were in the other unit. Next night we were woke at 11:30 pm with knocking on the door. We did not open it. The location is lovely. It was very welcoming. Music playing and the fireplace burning. I think both units need their own key box.

We saw Whale sprouts from the table, the property man, Shane, was great. We ate at three restaurants that we walked to. We came to see Whales, mission accomplished.Loved the apartment and town of DEPOE.

Walter's place was just what I needed. Clean, quiet with lots of extras such as full kitchen, washer and dryer and tub in the bathroom. Parking right in front of the unit. There was a covered area outside with seating and a small grill. Looked inviting though I did not use.Located on the Main Street of town. I never heard any traffic. Will return.

GOOGLE MAPS NOTE: The wrong house is shown in street view! It shows the house two properties south for some reason. Pay attention to the host directions!This is a nice, cozy little place for two but don't confuse that for small. The use of space is actually quite nice without feeling cramped. The furniture is very comfortable and the bed is great. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking but nothing for food storage and no herbs and spices so bring your own. The property is across the street from the water so your view can be obscured by traffic at times. The only real knock I have on this place is that the ceiling is very thin and you can hear the folks upstairs in the 3 bedroom rental when they walk. Wasn't too much of an issue during my stay but it was noticeable and your mileage may vary. Otherwise, I had a great time.

Our stay was excellent with neat and clean surroundings. Enjoyed the closeness to shops and eating places. If we get back to the Depoe area we will book this again!

Great stay!!

It smelled like someone smokes week in the neighborhood!!! Great location easy walk to town and restaurants!! I was surprised how quiet it was being so close to Hwy 101!! The covered outdoor was cute but too many cobwebs for me to sit out there.

We were very fortunate to have found this unique Ocean view, City Center property. Walt has retired from his Real Estate business & we are now concentrating on these wonderful Vacation Rentals.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Our Ocean View is unique to the Oregon coast, with its large unusual naturally formed rock formations and ever-changing wave action. We have at least 2 usually 3 waves, all moving in different directions, then they meet, crashing together, 50 feet in the air. Of course, the wave action is much more entertaining during the winter months.

During very low tides, we enjoy our own Marine Garden View. The Apartment includes a Covered, Ocean View, Old Growth Alaskan Cedar, Wind Protected Patio. With a very unexpected Ocean View This cozy home away from home is one of the very best values on the coast.
