Välkommen till The Palms Two! Denna stora södra stil strand hus är perfekt för stora familjer att samla bara ett kvarter från stranden. Hemmet bor stort och sover på totalt 12 gäster. Öppna bostadsutrymmen inuti och stora verandor kommer att göra detta till en återkommande destination för kommande år. Hemmet har 5 totalt sovrum och 4 badrum. Nedervåningen hittar du 3 av 5 sovrum, inklusive master svit med king size-säng och spa badrum. De återstående nedre sovrummen har vardera en queen size-säng. Dessa två rum delar ett badrum i hallen. På övervåningen båda sovrummen har en queen size-säng och badrum bifogas. På övervåningen finns också ett stort spelrum med fotboll, airhockey och TV för att hålla alla underhållna på den sällsynta regniga dagen på Folly Beach. Spelrummet innehåller två sovsoffor med fulla sängar.

Hemmet har alla moderna bekvämligheter du kan f��rvänta dig inklusive höghastighets WiFi, diskmaskin och tvättmaskin / torktumlare. Den utomhus vardagsrummet har uteservering och gasgrill på baksidan av huset samt stor veranda på framsidan av huset med gungstolar. Köket är fullt utrustat med alla gadgets och verktyg, även om den mest kräsna familjekocken skulle kräva.

Hemmet ligger en kort promenad till stranden och bara 13 miles från historiska downtown Charleston. Vi hyra inte till festgrupper och kräver en lägsta ålder av 25 att hyra. Rökning förbjuden och inga husdjur tillåtna.

Great Thanksgiving GetAway

My family stayed here over Thanksgiving. It was a great vacation. The house is large and beautiful! We all had ample space with our own bathrooms. It is just a block from the ocean so the whole family enjoyed it. And it is in a quiet section of Folly Beach, so it was perfect. We would do it again!

Folly Beach Family Trip

Enjoyed our location on Folly Beach about a mile down from the busy shopping area. House was an easy walk to the beach and area was quiet.

Get away for 8

The house was ok. It needs some updates and new furniture. We had big red ants in the downstairs bath and one of the bedrooms. We called the property manager and they sent someone over to spray the same day. We didn’t see any more live ants after that. We had a great time otherwise.

Great place for a family trip

We were able to take advantage of a golf cart rental and the beach gear credit. We live nearby but this was a great little spot to get away for a weekend.

Folly Beach Reunion

First time at Folly Beach and loved it! 8 adults and 2 teens at the house with plenty of space. Easy access to Charleston, beach and town. Owners were responsive to any questions or concerns. Would definitely recommend this house.

Beautiful home

The house was very clean and the front steps offered an amazing photo backdrop. Lots of room and we loved playing air hockey in the gameroom. My only complaint is that there were only like 2 channels we could watch on tv.

Great Week

House is very spacious and comfortable. Great location with easy access to the beach and far enough from town to be quieter. I suggest leaving some beach towels for guests use and a beach chair or two as we had nothing for the first day. Overall the place was very enjoyable and the price reasonable. We will book again. Palms II was a delight

The house was very nice —had ample room for all our guests. Both porches were utilized every day and we appreciated having the large outdoor shower and area underneath the house. Very short walking distant to the beach and loved the proximity to the downtown area of Folly. Loved we were given the beach rental credit to use —our girls loved riding the bikes to the beach and into town. The weather was perfect too!

Great location. Kitchen huge. Lots of seating. Loved the activity room, puzzles and games. Some of the beds hard and master bath extremely cold in the winter. Wonderful place to stay to regroup with family and friends!

Wet Vacation

The house was fine but it rained for 2 days during the Christmas break and the streets flooded near the house. This made it difficult to walk to the beach. Folly Beach really needs to address drainage and street flooding. I’m not sure we will be returning to Folly Beach because of this problem.

I have stayed at many VRBO units over the years. I do a lot of research before I make my final selection. I have rarely been disappointed and usually my choices are all close to a perfect match. This trip was a multifamily school vacation trip with 4 young children. We used the credit to get bikes. It was a short walk to the ocean. The kids rode to the beach and ON the beach all day. The kitchen was big enough for several adults to cook. All the utensils were there. Read the reviews. It always amazes me when reviewers complain about chipped plates. For those of you who cannot use a chipped dish bring paper plates. What can be more perfect then to get up, have a cup of coffee as the sun comes up and then walk to the beach? We love Jolly Beach and Charleston. Everyone wants to go back.

Startled to say the Least

The home's location in Folly beach was great, plenty of room for our family of 6 and it was close to a lot of the places we wanted to visit but unfortunately the rental company did not live up to their end of the bargain. I have stayed in many lovely homes/condos etc. over the years and was always pleased with the property owners/rental companies being thoughtful and generous with their ability to provide for our stay. This company should preface every one of their property rentals with the information that the renter is responsible for all the necessities to stay there up front re: the lack of necessities like toilet paper (1 roll per bathroom), cleaning supplies (2 rolls of paper towels), trash liners (2), dishwasher detergent (2). We had 6 in our party and had booked the property for 7 days, for what we paid I think all the above should have been provided. The bedding needs to be replaced, the living room furniture is dated and worn. The shower curtains in the upstairs showers were moldy and need to be replaced. We had to call the property company when we discovered that the lock on the front door was malfunctioning and allowed anyone to enter the property without a code while we were gone. The grill, which we did not use, was rusty and the front of it fell off during a rainstorm. Overall, this property could be great but it needs to be updated and day to day necessities need to be provided to make this a place to stay for vacation.

Nice big clean beach house

We had 10 people (4 parents, 6 teens). Check in was easy. Everything in the home is as in the pictures. The decor was nice with the crown molding and high ceilings, spacious, & we really enjoyed the concrete slab under the house & outdoor shower. The house has 2 fridges in the kitchen & ice trays in the main fridge. There is an over abundance of cover filters & salt and pepper. There was a starter set of dish and dishwasher soap and bars of soap in the bathrooms. The house had some books and games as well. We did use the $250 beach gear credit & rented 6 chairs, an umbrella, and 2 bikes. The couch needs to be replaced. It has a short back and deep seat cushions making it hard to be comfortable. We did have some minor annoyances that required communication from the property manager. The grass in the front was very long up to our ankles. We were intending to play yard games there. I let the property manager know & it didn’t get cut until Fri of our stay. When we rent houses, we look for homes that have air hockey tables, etc. Upon our arrival, the air for the air hockey table was not blowing forcefully to play the game. Also looking at the foosball table, the members in our group noted the bars were installed incorrectly. Unfortunately, we were unable to use these features. I did text the property manager & they said they told the owners, but it would not be taken care of during our stay. This needs to be noted in the listing for future renters. We also noted that there were only 4 regular size (not soup) spoons. I texted the property manager and they dropped off more soup spoons and not the smaller ones. They didn't reply when I shared pictures of this. The bed frames were installed incorrectly & we kept bumping our shins on the plate that connects to a headboard. The property manager replied to my text and they changed all the bed frames. The last thing we noticed on Wed of our stay was the water building up on the glass shelves of the main fridge. We kept noticing water but this time we saw it dripping. Again I texted the property manager with pictures on Wed & never heard back from them. Up until this point they had been responsive via text. The molding and doors need paint touch ups & laminate on cabinet doors is peeling. This town does not have sidewalks outside of downtown. It's busy on weekends with delays getting over bridge but quite otherwise weekdays . You have to walk in the street for beach but is 5 min walk

Nice location but not impressed with the house

Overall we enjoyed out vacation to Folly Bach/Charleston. The best feature of the house we stayed in was the easy walking access to the beach. The house itself was a little dirty (feet and socks turning brown in minutes) and we had a couple of issues when we were staying that were not addressed by the rental company at all after multiple calls and an email. The smoke detector kept fully going off with no explanation and the ice maker was broken. We tried multiple times to report the issues and were assured that someone would come take a look at them and no one ever got in touch with us or checked on these items. Having a loud alarm go off especially at night was very annoying. Plus most of the beds at the house were absolute garbage, they should have been replaced years ago. It really impacts your ability to relax on a vacation when you can't sleep for an entire week due to the horrible beds (this was the case for people staying in 3 of the 5 rooms including the master bed). We will not be staying in this house again or renting a property with the same company.

Great Get away!

We had an amazing the Palms II! The house was big and the location was perfect for beach days at Folly Beach, just a short walk away. The house was a little hot when we arrived, but quickly cooled down when we arrived.

Great location, tired house

We were so excited to have our full family (11 people total, 3 families) get together for the first time since prepandemic. The house was not in the condition we expected from the pictures. This is a full time rental with little to no time to allow for cleaning, maintenance, etc. The location to the beach was great, we loved the open main room, second fridge in the kitchen and tables on the porch. The rental company we as very responsive to our concerns and did additional cleaning and called for a pest control service. We enjoyed the family time but will rent elsewhere in the future.
