Huset är undangömt i slutet av en kort grusväg som sträcker sig tillbaka från strandpromenaden. (8: e St, väst). Om du går österut kan du promenera till stranden i den spännande staden Folly Beach på mindre än en mil. Om du går västerut längs stranden på mindre än en fjärdedel av en mil kommer du att hamna i den orörda länsparken där ön möter dölfloden som är perfekt för fågelskådning, delfinskådning och naturälskare! Eller bara vakna och hoppa i havet! Få follyhem njuter av denna typ av oöverträffad integritet och avskildhet. Det är därför vi kallar det Fantasy 'Island'! Tre sidor av huset är omgivna av kärrvildmark och bakgården är helt privat. Det finns en otrolig mängd parkering på detta hus med sin jätte slingrande cement uppfart parker upp till 10 bilar! Inuti huset kommer du att bli bortskämd med fyra TV-apparater med DirectTV, inklusive en jätte flatscreen i vardagsrummet. WIFI ingår. Gas spis, bänkskivor i granit och modernt kök med nya apparater inklusive gasspis. Inne i solrummet är en trapporövningsmaskin för dem som vill ha träning. Sovrummet nedre våningen har en king size-säng. Det finns ett badrum med en badkar och dubbla fåfänga av mästaren. Den andra våningen sovrummet till höger har också en king size-säng med eget badrum och dubbel fåfänga. Två andra sovrum på denna våning delar en hall bad och båda har queen sängar. Tvättmaskin och torktumlare finns också på andra våningen. Den tredje våningen har 3 enkelsängar och en queen size-säng. Utsikt över havet kan ses från 2: e och 3: e våningen. Med en kort promenad till stranden är detta ett perfekt ställe att skapa några underbara follyminnen. Giant veranda innehåller 4 gungstolar för att koppla av och lyssna på ljudet av vågorna. Fantastic Folly House

Beautiful house with the best location. Cross the street and you’re at the beach! House fit is perfectly and comfortably. The sun room was lovely to let the kids thrive and catch a breezy snooze in the afternoon. The porch allowed us to relax and feel the sea breeze. Had the best time!

Perfect Beach House

We loved the location and the house. It was spacious and perfect for a large group. We loved the front porch and being just minutes from the beach. The description of the kitchen and the third floor annex were a little misleading. The kitchen was missing a couple basic items that would have been nice to have such as a large cookie sheet, pepper, and cooking oil. There are 3 single beds on one side of the 3rd floor and two queen beds on the other side. This wasn't a problem, but the description mentioned 2 bedrooms on the third floor and I would have classified the space as one bedroom since there were no doors dividing these two spaces. Neither of these factors impacted our stay, and we would come back in a heartbeat!

Perfect place for our family to stay while in town for our Folly beach wedding! Very close walk to the beach and convienen to downtown Folly. Sleeps a lot of people, great for large groups. No frills beach house, but perfect for what we needed!

I came to Folly for my son's wedding in Charleston and to enjoy the beach. The home was clean and just a quick walk to the beach. I will stay there again when back in the area. Highly recommended.

Awesome time, would stay again

We had a great time for our golf trip staying on Folly Beach. The house is a 10-15 minute walk to the main Folly strip so you have activities nearby, but also have seclusion once you get back to the house. The house is set up well and welcoming for a wonderful beach getaway. Would stay here again if I ever find myself in Folly Beach, SC.

Great rental for large families!

Wonderful Stay at Fantasy Island Folly

We had a great time at Fantasy Island Folly! The location was perfect, in a cul de sac directly across the street from the beach! It was a 4-5 min walk and we basking in the sun and sand. There were more than enough rooms to accomodate our group. However, I do wish there was a little more fridge space for all of the food we had and a couple of my guests was hoping for a television in every room(their room did not have one). Overall, I recommend Fantasy Island Folly and would stay there again. Thank you Glenn for being a great host and for always responding so quickly. We really appreciate your hospitality.

Wedding weekend

We had a large group of family and friends for my daughters wedding this weekend in Charleston. Easy and quick trip to the Port of Charleston, beach access across the street, close enough to the establisments downtown to walk but secluded enough your not bothered by noise, clean, kitchen stocked to prepare meals for 16+ people. Very accommodating for a large party.

Steps From the Beach

Went down to to be close to my grand daughter who was having surgery at MUSC. I wanted to make the trip special just for her so the beach was perfect. The house is really a hidden gem, but was just as pictures described. Everyone loved the location and space!

Plenty of room right near the beach!

The property is a very short walk to the public beach access and there was plenty of room for our group of 10--not only in terms of driveway space, but also the many bedrooms, large living room, front and back porches, etc. We had lots of space to hang around, cook for the group, and toss a football around. The walk to the main street in Folly was probably about 15 minutes and very straightforward. Very quiet neighborhood and as the title of this review suggests VERY close to the beach!

Perfect for families and friends

The house was just as advertised. Lots of room for friends and/or family. The top floor had 5 beds, the 2nd floor had 3 bed rooms, and the main level had a nice master. The biggest selling point here is the location itself. You are right across from the beach. This section of the beach is far enough away from the pier that you aren’t dealing with the large crowds. Could not have been happier taking the family here.

Wedding Weekend

In town for a wedding and stayed for the weekend. The house had plenty of room but needs some updating and a good deep cleaning. Agree with a previous comment about the carpets and the need for painting. Wish the window on the porch was clear- it really took away from the view. Great location in Folly Beach.

Family vacation

We had a great time at the beach and surrounding area. We weren’t as impressed by the cleanliness of the property and lack of cleaning supplies. (We had a spill and were told to buy our own mop) The property also lacked any kind of exercise/fitness equipment, jacuzzi tub was very old and not clean.. All of the kitchen cabinets were filled so there was no where for our groceries. Trash had not been picked up from the last visitors so it was terribly smelly and overfill. Just expected better for the price and based on other reviews
