Lovely home

The amenities and location of this home were awesome! We enjoyed the firepit, the games that the owners provide, and they even had kayaks that we used! We were comfortable and would love to stay here again!

Fun property!

Close to lake and town. Bigger property; not jammed next to another cabin. Hot tub! Nice back deck! Garage was fun to play ping pong and fusball in. Real horse shoe setup in the side yard. Lots of space inside, fit many people. Owners were nice and accommodating.

Bear Cove Cabin is amazing

This property has everything you could ask for. The fact that there is a yard to hang out in, or to let the kids run around in, is a definite bonus! The fire pit, darts, ping pong table, and hot tub are just a few of the things we were able to enjoy during our stay. Having deer wander on the property, made our stay even more enjoyable.We loved our time at Bear Cove Cabin, and plan on staying again.

Cozy home

We enjoyed the house for just the 3 of us. Several of the lamps we never did figure out how to turn on and all the tv remotes were a learning curve. Hot tub needs a good half hour to get to 104*. We also didn’t have very good water pressure or hot water. The king bed was a bit firm and bedding was so fragrant from laundry soap that we couldn’t use it. For a quick two night get away it met our needs.

Weekend Getaway

The cabin was super cute and clean. I felt like the owners thought of every detail. We were excited to see they had cornhole but bags were missing so we were unable to use them. It was not advertised to include cornhole. We had a ton of fun with all the amenities! Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

Beyond our expectations!!

The home was stocked, with anything you could need just bring food ,the ping-pong table, fire pit, the hot tub, the twinkle lights, the wiffleball there was darts there were five bikes… plenty of parking for cars and boat trailer !! we will be back!!!! it was private and perfect. We even saw six bull elk and babies in the backyard every night the lot behind it is cleared out so you feel the privacy and can see the moon and the stars. if I could give it 10 stars, I would!!!

Great location

Loved the location, abundant large garage and half circle driveway parking for snowmobile trailers was great, house was very functional for our family and pet friendly for our dog. Hot tub was great after a day of snowmobiling. Would recommend a larger ax or splitting maul for chopping kindling and some newspaper or liquid fire starter for easier fire starting in the fireplace. Would have given it a 5 rating had there not been some burned out light bulbs in the house and missing head rests on the hot tub. Would also recommend stocking some everyday useful items like dryer sheets, aluminum foil and zip lock bags as an added convenience. Enjoyed our stay and thanks so much!

Frustrated and cold

We rented for the hot tub after skiing. We arrived after driving 7 plus hours with a broken hot tub. We were never notified. The house was dirty (I have photos and sent them to the management company and no one responded) the house was extremely cold and we tried everything to heat it up. Several heaters did not work and we used the oven and a fire to get warm. A man was sent with a space heater from Vacasa. With not one tool we barely got it together so it would work, and the two times we spoke on the phone, he was rude. We cleaned up really well and left this morning

Nice time but not without issues

We had a nice time at this property but there were issues. The house itself was clean, well stocked and comfortable. The appliances were in good condition. Outside there were multiple wasp nests and the patio furniture had not been cleaned in quite some time (there was even an active wasp nest on the back of a patio chair). The hot tub was dirty and unusable. The odor was so bad that it was unpleasant to spend time on the deck near the hot tub. I sent a email addressing these issues before posting an public review. I did not receive any kind of reply. I am hoping that the property owner was at least made aware of the things included in my email. I have used VRBO and Airbnb previously with no issues. I feel the property manager of this home needs to do a better job to make sure it meets the guests expectations.

Dirty, Dirty, Dirty…

Both the showers had hair in the drain. The master bath smelled like mildew. The master bedroom reeked like pet urine. We closed the master bedroom door to keep the odor in the back half of the house. We did not use the back half of the house. (I hope the sheets were washed). The washing machine was broken (and per reviews last year, the washing machine was broken then). The ice maker was broken. The hot tub leaked and needed to be refilled regularly. There was only two rolls a toilet paper for a 7 day visit. We had a hornets living in the interior of the hot tub. The garbage disposal was broken. They did send someone out to spray the hornets and offered to send out a carpet cleaner. BUT WE PAID A FORTUNE IN FEES and don’t want to deal with maintenance people. This is the dirtiest VBRO we have ever rented.

Very nice cabin with affordable price

The place is very nice, clean and you will find in every space things that you may need for you stay since kitchen appliances to washer, dryer, table games, DVD and movies , fire pit and patio table to enjoy the weather. We loved it!

Perfect

This place is a must. It's the perfect distance to town, the lake, the grocery store and much more. It's perfect for people who are visiting in groups or with kids and even a company business trip. The master suite has 2 recliner chairs and tv if you need separate spaces. And the outside is perfect for entertainment for kids or groups. This home has so many extras. Amazing Mountain Getaway

Great Experience

Our group consisted of four adults, two kids and our lab. We had a fantastic time and really enjoyed our stay. The fireplace and hot tub were perfect after a day on the mountain sledding! The kitchen was stocked with every imaginable tool - including a crock pot and a rice cooker!! There was a cabinet full of games and movies for the adults and kids for those days that we chose to stay in. And a ping pong table and foosball in the garage!! It has a nice big U-shaped driveway so getting in and out with the snowmobiles was a piece of cake. We did need to do some hand shoveling around the hot tub but it was well worth it! Thank you for sharing your home with us - we can't wait to come back!!

Great Escape for the Holidays

We booked here over Thanksgiving and it ended up being a great time! The house was clean and comfortable with all of the necessary items in the kitchen. It took us a minute to figure out the heat, but we managed to get it nice and warm for the family. I do think there may be a leak or service needed on the hot tub as the water level was low enough that we didn't use the jets. Overall though, this was an excellent stay and one we will keep on our list!
