An Oakland Visit

great visit with our daughter and her family, who live nearby. The Vrbo was comfortable and roomy and was walking distance from a Farmer Joes and several coffee shops and places to eat. Also convenient to the 57 bus.

A “Dimond” in June

Third stay at this Dimond residence in the Bay Area, visiting our three adult sons who all live in San Leandro, Berkeley and Oakland, all within 15 driving minutes away. Perfect for us!

Our visit

We enjoyed our visit and were happy about how accessible it was. My husband is disabled so it was easy for him to get around. The street was very nice. It was an easy walk down to the local main street, where there were some good restaurants.

Graduation Complete

We came out to the Bay Area as a grandson was graduatingfrom HS. Our daughter's small home could not accomodate us all. This property is about a mile from the daughter's and it worked out amazingly well! Great, well kept propertty with no hassles. We will stay here again!

Clean and quiet

We were visiting family in Oakland, so really only used the property to sleep in. The beds were very comfortable and the property was clean and quiet. Would stay here again.

Comfortable Clean Modern Home

Hotel quality bedding and bath accommodations with a fully stocked kitchen. The host responded quickly and access was seamless. The location was perfect for access to supermarket and freeways for dining and entertainment. Highly recommend this home.

Lovely and comfortable

Jide is an excellent host, the unit is clean and very well stocked. Parking is so easy. The internet is speedy, perfect for working. One of our favorite repeat rentals! We just love this place.

Location was perfect. Neighborhood quiet. Clean with all the amenities of home. Next level Host! Was missing some small things like paper towels and facial tissue and the tv remote ran out of battery butt overall everything was as advertised.

Nice Oakland apartment

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Oakland while attending the Cal Berkeley graduation. The apartment was clean, open, and quiet. A well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and lots of storage. The outdoor patio was a bonus and for us from the Pacific NW- a nice spot to visit and sit in the sun. The neighborhood was cute little residential area and we enjoyed walks up the hill and to the local farmer’s market. I would definitely recommend for a home base while visiting Oakland or Berkeley.

Foot surgery at Alta Bates

Planning for a 2 week stay in the Bay Area for much needed foot surgery we were pleased to find this property located conveniently to medical facility and to family, two sons in Berkeley/Oakland area and one in San Leandro, the property was a short drive to all The property is immaculate with plenty of room to maneuver a wheelchair. The new appliances in the kitchen and the washer dryer were a bonus and easy and fun to use. The neighborhood is quiet and well maintained and enjoyable to explore. All in all this place is a gem!

Peaceful, Cozy Home Away From Home

My partner, 2 year old and I had such a terrific stay at this Oakland home away from home. It was incredibly clean, modern and minimalist (less stuff for our kid to attempt to break) and had all of our preferred essentials - comfortable bedding, clean and easy-to-use kitchen with pots and pans and quiet at night. The definite above and beyond perks were the laundry machine, low bed height (good for our toddler), cozy couches and blankets, no stairs to climb, parking right in front and host who communicated quickly. This was our home base while we went on day trips to explore woods, beaches and the amazingness of the Bay Area. Thank you, Jide for making your home accessible to us and for being a great host!

Excellent property

Extremely clean and had everything. Only spent time basically sleeping in location but it was fine. Only complaints (if you want to call them that) were the following: 1. Requirement to not wear shoes in place. Seems to be very California like (request to not wear shoes). Little annoying but OK. 2. Bed was a bit on the smaller side. Not sure the size but definitely not king. Room size might have something to do with this. Honestly, we should have looked at bed size before booking if necessary. We were OK with bed size. 3. Nest HVAC was a little confusing. But was cool enough for our stay. On a positive note, the place had a washer and dryer which was awesome. Might want to consider putting a stool to get into top dryer (for someone shorter). The number of towels and sheets was huge. They were great! Very quiet area. Seemed newly renovated and nice place! Enjoyed our stay.

Super lejlighed

Meget fin vel udstyret lejlighed i roligt kvarter. Nem at komme ind til SF med tog. Den indre by af oakkand har karakter og nok ikke til at gÄ i nÄr det er mÞrk. Men ved lejlighed var det helt fin. Godt med parkering ind foran huset. Tag op til templet pÄ toppen om aften. Utrolig smuk solned gang og kig ud over SF.

I chose this house because it affords you all the trappings of an urban setting but it is walking or biking distance to beautiful nature. The Redwood Regional and Jaoquim Miller Parks are a mere 1.5 miles away. These are beautiful parks in the hills that have hiking, mountain biking and beautiful views of Oakland and beyond.
