Detta charmiga 1 sovrum ligger bara 1 kvarter från Resurrection Bay och Sea Life Center och 1 gata över från downtown affärer och restauranger. En av Sewards äldsta byggnader och ursprungligen ett pensionat från de gamla järnvägsdagen, kom och stanna och vara en del av Sewards historia. Med tanke på historien är vi rätt bakom museet / biblioteket. Denna hyra har totalrenoverats men vi behöll en del av den gamla charmen. Köket har en singel kokplatta, konvektionsugn, mikrovågsugn och kylskåp. Också 1 sovrum, badrum och bostadsyta. Vi är tysta byggnad och observera tysta timmar. Vi har lokalbefolkning som också bor i byggnaden. Vi erbjuder anställningsmöjligheter för en lokal bosatt med din städavgift. Parkering är gratis framför byggnaden. Stor vandringsled 1 kvarter bort som leder till den lilla båthamnen 1 mil bort. Den här egenskapen är inte särskilt väl lämpad för 4 vuxna. Bäst för 2 vuxna och 2 små barn eller mindre.

Cute apartment close to everything!

This is a really cute apartment in Seward! Walkable to lots of restaurants. Host was super responsive when I asked for a good place to watch basketball game, even calling the place to make sure they’d be showing it. Really appreciated that!

Small, but sufficient

Loved the views, and the way it was set up to maximize space. A little difficult with two small children getting up and down stairs and having play space for them. But we were only there for one night- so it worked perfectly for what we needed.

Cute and cozy condo

We stayed in 8 different places during our Alaska trip, and this condo was our favorite! Charming, comfortable, and quiet, with everything we needed and in a super location. It's small and you probably can't cook a gourmet meal in the kitchen but for our three days in Seward it was perfect.

Very nice! In off season and had difficulty finding places to eat that were open but thankfully we had a good kitchen and a Safeway that was open for groceries.

Perfect spot in the cutest city!

We loved our stay! We met Matt when we arrived and he was so sweet and welcoming! Shelly was wonderful every time we reached out to her for tips! The condo was comfortable, had thoughtful touches and was in the perfect location! I only wish we could have stayed longer!

Cute place close to town

We stayed in this cozy apartment for 1 night for a stay after our cruise. This was perfect for myself and my husband as it was walking distance to town and many restaurants. The apartment had everything we needed. The host was super friendly, quick to respond to my questions and very accommodating.,Would definitely stay here again if in The area.

We loved our 2 night stay here. It was so comfortable and cozy. The bed was awesome 😎 as was the pull out couch (with extra mattress on top)!! We had everything we needed for the 2 nights. Very quaint and charming. Would definitely stay again.

Cute retro apartment with everything you need!

Loved this retro apartment! It had everything I could possibly need, all set out beautifully. Really appreciated the extra touches that were left and I felt very at home. I spent three nights here, such a great location and a quiet neighbourhood. The bed was soooo comfy and I slept very well. Shelly was so welcoming and helpful, even before check in. Would definitely stay again if I come back to Seward!!

Awesome Alternative to Hotel!!!!

Adorable and functional unit. Top floor, peek-a-boo bay view, surprisingly quiet less some bumps and knocks here and there in the building. The airflow is awesome and we were so thankful for the the black-out curtains! Fast & friendly communication with the host and the location is absolutely unbeatable. I travel to Seward 4-5 times a year and am looking forward to bookmarking this unit to use again. Ten stars out of five.

Love Alaska and the great outdoors. We have wonderful friends in Seward and decided to become a part of this amazing community. Matt and I re both from the Midwest - MN and IA. We met in Denver and moved to Alaska in 2002. We absolutely love traveling and being hosts, mostly to share stories and adventures. When we get a chance to talk with our guests, it renews our love for our home and community. We are so blessed. We want to share this blessing with everyone.

Varför värden valde detta boende

Because it’s part of Alaska History. it is one of the oldest buildings in Seward and we loved the history and the possibilities to bring it back to life. We have worked hard to provide a nice clean quaint and quiet place to stay. We have local residents in the building who you may run into out and about. Some are born and raised in Seward!!

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

So close to everything! this building was origianlly a boarding house for railroad workers and others in the early 1900's and survived the 1964 earthquake and tsunami. This property is very unique. It is one of Seward's oldest buildings build in either 1905 or 1906. It was a boarding house to the railroad workers in the early 1900's. It survived the 1964 earthquake tsunami. In 2017, we bought this run down virtually empty building and spent every weekend for 6 years coming down from Anchorage and renovating the entire place. Just my husband and I. We have finally moved to Seward and love this amazing community. We hope you love what we have done to restore history.
