Detta charmiga 1 sovrum ligger bara 1 kvarter frÄn Resurrection Bay och Sea Life Center och 1 gata över frÄn downtown affÀrer och restauranger. En av Sewards Àldsta byggnader och ursprungligen ett pensionat frÄn de gamla jÀrnvÀgsdagen, kom och stanna och vara en del av Sewards historia. Med tanke pÄ historien Àr vi rÀtt bakom museet / biblioteket. Denna hyra har totalrenoverats men vi behöll en del av den gamla charmen. Köket har en singel kokplatta, konvektionsugn, mikrovÄgsugn och kylskÄp. OcksÄ 1 sovrum, badrum och bostadsyta. Vi Àr tysta byggnad och observera tysta timmar. Vi har lokalbefolkning som ocksÄ bor i byggnaden. Vi erbjuder anstÀllningsmöjligheter för en lokal bosatt med din stÀdavgift. Parkering Àr gratis framför byggnaden. This adorable retro apartment is in an ideal location. The second bed is a klik-klak in the dining area, but it worked fine for a mother -daughter getaway.

We enjoyed our stay in the apartment. It is quite small, but we didn't spend much time there. It is in a great downtown location that has lots of shops and restaurants. Easy walk to the harbor. Check in was easy and communication with the owner was great.

Overall great place to stay for a quick overnight bed and room was nice and clean and great location in downtown. It was loud in the alleyway behind the building at night but that happens downtown. As long as you are not looking for a quiet getaway it is a good spot, would come again.

Cute apartment close to everything!

This is a really cute apartment in Seward! Walkable to lots of restaurants. Host was super responsive when I asked for a good place to watch basketball game, even calling the place to make sure they’d be showing it. Really appreciated that!

Amazing Stay

Seward is a magical town and this BnB is right in the heart of it. Has all the amenities needed and allows you to seamlessly travel around and have a cosy place to come back to. Definitely recommend!

Love Alaska and the great outdoors. We have wonderful friends in Seward and decided to become a part of this amazing community. Matt and I re both from the Midwest - MN and IA. We met in Denver and moved to Alaska in 2002. We absolutely love traveling and being hosts, mostly to share stories and adventures. When we get a chance to talk with our guests, it renews our love for our home and community. We are so blessed. We want to share this blessing with everyone.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

Because it’s part of Alaska History. it is one of the oldest buildings in Seward and we loved the history and the possibilities to bring it back to life. We have worked hard to provide a nice clean quaint and quiet place to stay. We have local residents in the building who you may run into out and about. Some are born and raised in Seward!!

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

So close to everything! this building was origianlly a boarding house for railroad workers and others in the early 1900's and survived the 1964 earthquake and tsunami. This property is very unique. It is one of Seward's oldest buildings build in either 1905 or 1906. It was a boarding house to the railroad workers in the early 1900's. It survived the 1964 earthquake tsunami. In 2017, we bought this run down virtually empty building and spent every weekend for 6 years coming down from Anchorage and renovating the entire place. Just my husband and I. We have finally moved to Seward and love this amazing community. We hope you love what we have done to restore history.
