Cabin in the woods

Beautiful Property

I was able to gift this stay to my brother and his wife for their wedding gift. The host was very accommodating to our needs and very responsive any time I asked anything. Thank you for allowing them to enjoy the cabin on their special day. It was perfect!

Great cabin in a perfect location! The beach was just 5 minutes down the road which was super convenient. The cabin was beautiful in a quiet, peaceful area. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had, overall it was a wonderful experience!

Great place!

This cabin is a perfect weekend getaway. Playhouse, games, and Disney+ for kids. Hot tub, fireplace, and well appointed kitchen for adults. Close to great trails, Nashville, and Bloomington.

Great Pet Friendly Cabin

My wife and I took my mom and her dog to Lemon Ridge Lodge for a birthday getaway. Everything was exactly as advertised and worked out great. Cabin is very big and the property is expansive. Everyone had a good time.

Great for a girls' weekend!

This was our third year staying at Lemon Ridge Lodge and we love it so much! The location is perfect, easily accessible to Bloomington and Nashville but secluded enough to feel like you're away from everything and everyone. We played Thurs night free bingo at the Porthole Inn bar, hot tubbed in the snow and watched a million 80's movies. We'll be back next year for round 4!

Great cabin in the woods

The house was beautiful and clean. Area is fantastic. Better to stay in a house like this when visiting IU than to stay at an overpriced hotel. Only problem was couldn’t figure out how to lock the door when we left.

Perfect Sisters Weekend

Despite all the rain from Hurricane Hellene we had a fabulous time. We each had space on our own level for sleeping and a bathroom. We had space to sit outside and enjoy nature. We had very comfortable kitchen eating, sitting space. We didn't even utilize the awesome basement other than sleeping. This space can accommodate well beyond the 3 of us we had. But it was the perfect getaway for the celebration of a special occasion. Our 4 days there are now treasured memories. Thanks!

Peaceful oasis in sweltering heat

We had hoped to explore the property, but weather mandated indoor activities. You can see everything outside in this cabin. We enjoyed watching fawns eat, meeting a large turtle while taking the dogs out and just zoning out while gazing out at the wooded beauty around us. The cabin itself is incredible. Wrap around deck was huge and even had a gate to keep our small dogs from wandering off. Lovely stay. Would recommend!

Amazing and relaxing weekend!

This cabin was a wonderful getaway for us - two couples and two little kids. The 3-year old LOVED the playhouse and slide, and we all enjoyed the open living space and great outdoor decks. We spent evenings on the deck and took the short drive to Lake Monroe to rent a pontoon for the afternoon. The air conditioning and foosball table in the basement were big hits with the summer heat. We also appreciated the privacy, while being so conveniently close to Indy, Bloomington and Nashville. We definitely look forward to booking this cabin again!

Disappointing

The power went off during first night of our 3 night stay. They had no back up generator and the water couldn’t run without electricity. It was the first night at 9:30pm so we couldn’t pack up in dark and leave. We packed up and left early the following morning. We were unable to go to the bathroom without useable toilets and it got very hot, spoiling the refrigerated food we brought. I contacted the property manager and let them know of the dilemma and they said there was nothing they could do and it was out of their control. The property manager refuses to reimburse us for any part of the stay. It was a very disappointing holiday weekend but most of all very disappointed that we weren’t treated fairly in this situation. And for the record, I’ve never left a negative review for a stay before. It’s not something I enjoyed doing but wanted to caution those that expect running water during a power outage as well as fair treatment when the cabin is unlivable.

We had a great time. The cabin was great! The basement entertainment area was great for hanging out, playing foosball and shuffleboard, and visiting with each other. Many places in the house and on the property to gather and enjoy company.

Spring get away

Property was very nice. It is smaller than pictures show. Outside deck and grounds are the best feature. Very secluded. Cell phone service is nonexistent.

Short stay in the woods

This was a quick 2 night stay for a wedding at a nearby venue. The basement had games, plenty of TVs, the hot tub was used by two in our party and they enjoyed it. Deer on the property the last morning. Everyone was happy with the comfort of the beds, and all were happy for three full bathrooms. It seemed much larger than the listed square footage.

My husband and I needed a little getaway after a very hectic holiday season. It was perfect. The beds are so comfortable. The hot tub was really nice to sit in, especially surrounded by the beautiful snow outside. Thank you for sharing your home with us.
