Weekend with friends and dogs

Definitely worth it!

Jason was really kind. The property was great. Me and my friends really enjoyed it. I especially recommend if you have dogs. The property is very dog friendly. Our dogs loved the big fenced yard and the owner even prepared dogs beds and bowls for the dogs. Highly recommend!

Veterans Day Weekend

This is an excellent property and a gracious owner. Well stocked with everything needed to survive. Just bring your food and drinks. I will definitely return.

Beautiful home with secluded feel

The home was beautiful and in a nice secluded location. The amenities were perfect for our family of 3, and the small dogs really enjoyed the fenced in yard. The location is close enough to hiking and shopping but far enough away to be private.

Wonderful place to stay!

We stayed at this beautiful home for my son’s graduation from Liberty University. The description of the house is right on, and the directions given to get into the house were easy to understand and follow. It was perfect for our group. I would stay here again when visiting Lynchburg!

Perfect little fall getaway

My husband, 3 month old, and family were in town for a wedding in Bedford and this place was PERFECT! It gave us all the space we needed along with some creature comforts. Plus, it was way closer to the venue than any hotel in the area. Highly recommend a stay in this cute little place!

A Piece of Paradise

This three bedroom two bath country home with fenced back yard is situated on a ridge with a beautiful mountain view! The location is quiet and private, yet not far from town. The home is nicely furnished and very comfortable to be in. Jason is a great host and communicates very well. Our visit seemed like we were in our own piece of paradise! Looking forward to staying here again!!! 👍👍

Peace and Quiet

Just needed a weekend get away for some peace and quiet and that is exactly what we got. The home was clean and had comfortable couch and beds. Was also nice that towels and linens were provided. My fur baby enjoyed the fenced in yard and our walks down the gravel road, where we saw horses and donkeys. Overall we had a great time and would definitely stay again.

Family Wedding in Bedford

Not a lot of selection as far as hotels in Bedford and to have the family and our dog all together in a house was so much nicer. Beautiful home loved seeing the goats roam around the yard. A peaceful stay for sure.

Relaxing weekend!

My husband and I enjoyed a relaxing weekend away! The home was perfect and exactly what we were looking for. It was near several vineyards and trails. It was also a treat having our goat visitors each day who were very friendly. We would definitely consider booking again for future trips!

Clean, well furnished property in a beautiful location

Spent two days with our cat and puppy. We were visited by some of the neighboring goats and a few deer and turkeys. The house itself is clean and well furnished with well eqyupped kitchen. Would definitely recommend this place.

Exactly What We Hoped For

This trip was a combination of family visit and relaxation and this location fit the bill perfectly. We were close to family and attractions we wanted to see, but had the seclusion we looked for to recharge our batteries. The home was very clean and well stocked and communication with the owners was seamless. We did have a few unexpected visitors during the week (a beagle, a pug and two labs) which was fun. We also saw deer and turkey. We are talking about a return trip in the future and would not hesitate to stay here again.

Great weekend getaway

We needed a place that would be half way to meet family and bring our dogs. Check in time was earlier and check out later than most and advertised as being your dogs! Had great area for our dogs to play and get energy out. Had great area to sit outside and eat and visit. Inside was very cute and cozy and well stocked with all the pans dishes and spices ! We had a great visit and loved the house and area.

Had a great stay

Overall, the house was perfect for our needs! It's out of the way enough to have privacy and a great view, but close to civilization. The kitchen was well stocked with spices, a hot water kettle, casserole dish, even a griddle for pancakes. Fenced in yard was perfect for the dog, and there was a glider for rocking my 16 month old to sleep. The AC did go out one day, but Jason had it fixed by that night. We will be back!

Family Trip

This was one of the best houses we have stayed in to date. When we travel as a family we tend to still cook for the most part. The kitchen was very well equipped and we had no issues cooking our meals at the house. The area is beautiful and we went out exploring to several areas close by including Smith Mountain Lake and Peaks of Otter. It was great that our dog was able to join as well. We all enjoyed this house and our stay!

We bought this home because we love Bedford and surrounding area. Its the perfect place to get away from our hectic life back in Florida. The mountains are amazing and there are so many great local wineries and breweries that we can always find something new.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

This property is nestled along the side of a mountain and there is a ton of wildlife. Many different kinds of birds, rabbits, and even deer love to visit our property each day.

Our neighbors have some goats and pigs that will come visit from time to time, they are all very friendly.

It is very quiet here, you will never hear the sounds of a passing car or truck even at night with the windows open.
