A Goode Time

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here while visiting family. It rained most of our stay so we did not get to enjoy the animals, but the property is awesome and Lisa was a gracious host. Communication was excellent throughout our stay.

Just a really pleasant stay. Lots of deer spotted. Accommodations were perfect. Everything needed was available and clean. Recommend to get your groceries before.

Gorgeous VA country retreat

Excellent location close to Lynchburg with gorgeous views of the Virginia mountains. The house was very well maintained with everything you could possibly need for a weekend getaway! The beds were comfortable, great communication with the host, and the cows, horses, and donkeys were adorable. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

R & R Getaway

The house was well appointed and welcoming. It was a very relaxing stay with beautiful views. The unit was cozy and well placed for privacy. The owners were very helpful, friendly and informative! We thoroughly enjoyed the animals and the time shared with them!

Short Weekday getaway

We stayed for 2 night during the week. The house was beautiful and extremely clean. The farm was super secluded and peaceful. We did the meet and treat with the animals and the owner and it was the highlight of my kids vacation. I would absolutely recommend and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Peaceful and Beautiful!!

Beautiful location! Lots of wildlife and animals to see! Very clean home with everything we could have possibly needed..right down to firewood! Owners are super helpful and keep in contact to ensure you are comfortable and secure! We will definetly be staying there again in the future! Highly reccommend for families with children/teens!

Cozy Farmhouse

Stayed at the property for several days as we settled our son into Liberty. The house was accurate to the description. Clean and spaciousness. Our host was exceptional. We look forward to visiting again.

Wonderful property

The Disenhouses our great hosts. The property was beautiful. The house was immaculate and comfortable. It had everything we needed. We had early mornings when we were there, but we would get up and weed seeing the highland cows as we were leaving and it brought such a smile to my face. I would definitely stay here again.

By far the most beautiful place I have ever been. The home is the perfect spot for any occasion!

Lisa and her family are so wonderful. From their property being the most beautiful place I've been. To the comforts of being at home. I have never been more relaxed and stress free then I was the weekend we stayed. We will be going back for as long as they will allow us!

Great quiet stay

We had a great week relaxing at the farm. The cabin had everything we needed including items for our dogs. The cows are adorable, especially the babies. We also saw two bears on our hike, a beaver and lots of deer. We explored Bedford and Lynchburg. We truly exhaled. Thank you Lisa!

Sweet time on the Farm

Favorite parts: 1) big windows looking out into the woods 2) trails in the woods 3) so many thoughtful details, such as outdoor blankets, gates to block off stairs, labeled light switches, and a ready-to-go grill 4) great communication 5) privacy 6) it's just cute, clean, and fun!

Everything was great

We had a perfect stay at Disenhouse Farm for labor day weekend. The house met all of our needs and more for 2 couples, a dog, and a toddler - baby gates at the stairs, a fenced in yard, dog crates for use, fully stocked kitchen and the two levels of the house each with their own bedrooms and bathrooms gave us plenty of space. We loved the firepit and grill and enjoyed stargazing and viewing the highland cows in the morning. The guesthouse was private and the host ensured we had everything we needed by text at check-in. Highly recommend!

Quiet, Cute, Cozy, and Clean!

Working with Lisa was amazing! From the beginning, Lisa was very clear with communication and quick to answer any questions we had. The property and house were both very cute and a great price for what you're getting. Immediately one of our more selective guests commented on how clean it was! You'll want to plan to just stay on property and enjoy at least one day it the quiet countryside. It was nice to be able to meet the cows and Lisa was gracious with her time. She introduced us to all of her farm pets and lets us feed and pet them as long as we wanted. Overall, this was a very good experience and we will look to be back if we're in the area again!
