Boy did our family of 6 adults and 2 babies enjoy our stay.  The accommodations were perfect for us.  The house was exactly as advertised and more.  I have stayed at some rentals that don’t even have salt and pepper.  This house had everything you could hope for and more.  Like the under counter ice maker.  I love iced tea and the filtered water and clear ice were such a nice surprise.  We saw several deer, walked to the bay and nature preserve.  Visited downtown Holland, went to the lighthouse but most of all we really enjoyed our evenings just being together and playing games.  Thank you and we definitely hope to stay here again.

This Holland property was one of the best our family has ever rented for our summer vacations. Communicating with the owner Jayne was exceptional. The house is amazing, beautifully appointed, with many extras such as the large Jacuzzi spa and ping pong table. The location is perfectly located between Holland and Saugatuck to enjoy the beaches, shopping, restaurants, etc. Everyone enjoyed their week together.

Amenities galore in a beautiful setting

You will find everything you need for a relaxing get away here. It is well equipped with the comforts of home. The hosts are very communicative, and take great pride in their home and it shows. Our favorite place was the expansive back deck that overlooked the beautiful gardens. Deer and turkey wandered through regularly.

Plenty of Room for everyone!!

My extended family stayed at this lovely home in June of 2025. The house was immaculate and everyone was comfortable. The house included 4 bedrooms with all King beds and a set of bunkbeds. The adults and children had there own space which was perfect. The kitchen has high end appliances and an extra fridge in the garage. If you are looking to stay in the Holland - Saugautuck area this is a real winner.

One of the best VRBO homes in Holland, MI

We thoroughly enjoyed our Thanksgiving weekend at Holland Retreat. The home is very clean and well stocked with all necessities. The kitchen is large and well equipped - the drawers are even labeled to ensure everything is where it belongs! Many amenities. Great family home. Limited dining room space for larger gatherings, but accommodates 8-10 people comfortably. Would definitely return for future stays in Holland MI.

Connie we are really happy that you enjoyed yourself. We love Thanksgiving up there. The kitchen is perfect for families and when the weather is nasty the fireplace and large TVs make the indoors pretty cozy. We also appreciate the great care you gave the house! Please come back some time in the future!

Fantastic Anniversary Trip

We could not have been more pleased with our stay at this beautiful house. It is extremely clean, has wonderful amenities and the owners are super organized. They were amazing hosts and so easy to communicate with. We were looking for a special spot to celebrate my parent's 70th anniversary and we were so happy we made the perfect choice. This home is absolutely gorgeous, completely updated, well appointed, and the location is very convenient. The hot tub, large deck and fire table were fun additions and used frequently!

Perfect family retreat home

We stayed at Jaynes home for a family weekend and couldn’t have picked a better spot. Upon arriving, the house was incredibly clean and spacious. The bedrooms all had comfortable beds. The kitchen was stocked with any equipment you could possibly need and we cooked A LOT! The hot tub and fire pit area were excellent touches, especially since our weather wasn’t perfect. It was a 5 minute drive to an easy market for most things we needed. We will be back for sure!

Tranquility Meets Convenience

This was one of the best houses we’ve had the pleasure of renting. The hosts clearly thought of everything you may need during your stay. The home was spacious to provide moments of peacefulness and places to gather for family time. We enjoyed hiking Sanctuary Woods a few steps north from the home, and riding our bikes towards town. A 5 minute drive to Laketown Beach yielded a fabulous spot for sunset watching atop the dunes. Overall, this property is in a great location, terrifically scenic, and full of modern amenities to make your vacation great—we would love to return!

A Wonderful Holland Retreat

What an amazing retreat! We (6 Adults, 3 Children) came to the house to celebrate a birthday, and this place was exactly what we wanted and hoped for. Four king beds made the rooms very accessible and comfortable. The basement and outdoor amenities (hot tub!) were very well used. The kitchen and grill were well stocked and ready for our big meal. The house was private and in the shade (which helped with the heat), and close to both Holland and Saugatuck. The check-in display, with the associated videos describing how to use each item, was a nice touch. We all agreed we'd come here again in a heartbeat!
