Härlig kust Maine stuga stil hem i Kap Elizabeth med en ljus och öppen planlösning. Vårt hem ligger i ett lugnt familjehusområde och ligger i flera hektar skogsklädda grusbelagda spår. Vi är nära Spurwink Marsh och River, hem för Rachel Carson Wildlife Preserve och vi är bara bara 2,5 till 6 miles till några av de finaste stränderna i Maine. Den livliga småstaden Portland ligger 6 miles från vårt hem. Kom och njut av hennes många restauranger, mikrobryggor och sevärdheter!

Vårt hem är en stuga stil Maine hem och har 4 plus ett sovrum: Befälhavaren svit har en Kalifornien king size säng med eget badrum. Sovrum # 2 har en drottning minnebädd (comfy!) tillsammans med ett skrivbord och sittande soffa. Sovrum # 3 har en full size fast säng med sittgrupp. Sovrum # 4 har en vacker queen size minnesäng med sittande stolar. Platsen # 5 sovrum är vad vi kallar båtrummet. Detta är 700 kvm fotbonusrummet. Den har två vackert utformade båtar i full storlek, storbilds-TV och ett piedestalbord med stolar. Väggarna är fodrade med inbyggda bägare laddade med barnböcker. Detta rum kan användas som sovrum eller bostadsyta. Alla rum är på andra våningen. Förutom masterbadet på andra våningen finns ett badrum i full storlek precis utanför korridoren med dubbla handfat och en separat toalett och duschrum som kan stängas av med fickeldörr.
Den första våningen i vårt hem har en öppen och luftig planlösning: ett gourmetkök öppnar in i vardagsrummet som sedan öppnar till ett ljuvligt matsal. Från köket kan du gå direkt till den blå stenterrassen på bakgården. På första våningen finns också en mudroom och en halv bad och ett eget kontor utrymme.
Utanför hittar du en helt inhägnad bakgård och stor blå stenterrass som bakar upp till bevarande grönytan. Vårt hem har också en underbar veranda till mysigt upp med en bra sommarläsning eller en morgon kopp kaffe!
*** Detta hem har central luftkonditionering för lättnad från de varma och fuktiga sommardagarna och underbart strålande basplattavärme för den kyliga hösten och vintersäsongen.

Women's Weekend

We were all grateful for the comfort and ease Liz and John's home offered us over the long wknd. Especially appreciated the comfortable beds, well appointed kitchen, convenient location to beaches and running trails, and the personal touches - feels like you're in a real home not a house purchased solely to rent to vacationers. Working with Liz in the lead up to our stay was a pleasure; super responsive and accommodating. Recommend if you're looking to gather with a big group.

Girls Weekend

From start to finish regarding our mini vacation Liz was onboard and available 24/7!! Sincerely mean that….great response time to any questions which is important when you are the one responsible planning every detail. The house was beautiful and easily accommodated our group of five. Such an easy drive to Portland where we took a pottery class, shopped and had some wonderful dining experiences. I would love to come back to this house and experience it in the summer. Thank you Liz and John for sharing your lovely house!!!

Family celebration in Maine

Celebrated my birthday with the family of 7 ranging in age from 3 1/2 to 73 in Maine. Great house for all ages especially the boat room. The toys and books entertained my grandson for house. Very comfortable beds and a separate office. Fully stocked kitchen and gorgeous back yard. Liz and John, the owners are very accommodating. Close proximity to Portand and the beaches. I would highly recommend this house.

Flower filled porch

As developers/builders, we are not easily impressed. This house did it. It had special features and appliances, great opportunity to cook, to sit on a flower filled porch, super comfortable. While incredible, you didn’t feel like your everyday movement would ruin it. Great location, quiet neighborhood.

Best VRBO experience

I could go on and on…Liz and John were the best hosts ever. The property is spectacular. Everything you would need. My friend is a gourmet cook and found the kitchen was a dream! The front and back areas of the home were magnificent for eating, chatting or just hanging out. Liz and John were so welcoming of my friend’s old lab mix dog. All of their recommendations were spot on for myself and my guests and enhanced the experience! They made it comfortable for all of us. The best VRBO experience of my life. Hoping to go back to enjoy more of Liz and John’s Maine!

Gorgeous property in Cape Elizabeth

This wonderful property was the perfect place for our family of seven. The main floor is open, welcoming and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with all the utensils and appliances anyone might need. Upstairs the five bedrooms had comfortable beds, and the bathroom facilities were perfect for us. The natural light that flows throughout the house is excellent. Communication with the owners was terrific. Liz and John provided all the support we needed during our stay. Our experience was excellent in every respect. We would not hesitate to return to this property for our next family gathering in the Greater Portland area. A big thank you to Liz and John!!

Perfect Vacation Home

We found a beautiful home in Cape Elizabeth to enjoy a family vacation. The home is spacious and well appointed. It is near everything from downtown Portland to the beaches on Cape Elizabeth, to Fort Williams and the Lighthouse, to Freeport, and to Kennebunkport to name just a few destination spots. The house is minutes from the train station and the airport. We enjoyed reclaiming our Maine family roots. The house - with the exceptional hosts - made our time in Maine special indeed.

Beautiful home and great neighborhood

This house is wonderful and the host is amazing! There is a cool kids room stocked with toys and books. The house is set up very well with helpful notes. We had an awesome stay and Liz and John the hosts reached out before and during our stay to make sure everything was going well. They even provided an extensive guide to the area. I had mentioned taking the kids to the tide pools at low tide, and Liz and John printed out a tide schedule and left it in the house before we arrived. Very thoughtful and caring. We were only there for a couple of days but this is a place I would love to come back to and rent for a month!

Liz and John were great! The house is lovely. They’re created a great experience with their attention to detail, i.e., fresh flowers, beach towels, and a fully stocked kitchen. The neighborhood is charming and a close walk to Jordan Farm.

Maine Stay !!!!

The property is fantastic and in a lovely neighborhood. We felt very welcomed by all the nice touches, flowers, coffee, area suggestions, etc. The whole house was well appointed, (especially the kitchen) with everything you need at your disposal. John and Liz were very communicative and happy to be of any assistance. Do not hesitate to rent this property!!!!

Perfect spot for extended family get together

Ideal home for our family get-together. The house is made for casual entertaining…the huge kitchen island, the spacious but still cozy living room, and the back patio so well surrounded by trees that it’s like another room. High ceilings. Lots of bedrooms. And Liz could not have been more helpful — very clear info about how everything in the house works (like the dishwasher) and quick to answer questions when we had them.

Wedding event

We all stayed here for wedding weekend in nearby Prout's Neck. It was very lovely and comfortable and perfect for our needs. It was also ideal as our small dog was able to stay with us.

Liz and John are Incredible Hosts

As yearly Maine vacationers, we have to say that our stay here was amongst the most memorable because of Liz and John’s incredible home. Beautiful furnishings and perfectly located for all the great things the Portland area offers. Minutes from the beach, close to town…great for young kids and our dog - can’t wait to come back!

Maine visit

Liz and John were excellent with accommodating our needs and answering all our questions about the area - so nice to deal with ! The house is beautiful and so comfortable. Even with the rainy day , the kids enjoyed ping pong, making s’mores at the outdoor fire pit( that John readied for us), and playing games. I can highly recommend this home. Thanks Liz and John !

Lovely house

We stayed for two weeks in August and had a wonderful stay with three generations of our family. It fit our needs and more: the kitchen was very well appointed, the beds were comfortable, and there were so many toys and books for our 1 and 2 year old sons to enjoy! The house was also well stocked with board games, so I imagine it would be good for older children as well. The hosts were kind and very responsive.
