The house in Hood Rivers was so clean and close to everything. It had a great view of the river and Mt Rainer with snow on the top. It was very close to town and all the waterfalls and hiking. We enjoyed our stay and would love to come back.

Nice clean comfortable home. Host was very helpful and attentive, checking in by text to make sure everything was good. Beautiful view of Mt Adams out living and dining room windows. Spacious and comfortable deck. Very nice place to stay.

Great little space to stay and use as home base for mountain biking. The trails are very close and having the garage is a bonus with the bike gear. Communication was great and the check in and out process simple.

The property itself was nice - the problem is that the description is misleading. This is a 4 bedroom house. There are 2 separate living areas, one upstairs and one downstairs. There is a door at the bottom of the staircase, but there is no visible deadbolt that you can lock if you are staying upstairs, so anyone who is downstairs is able to come upstairs if they want. We heard people loudly talking downstairs for the entire 4 days that we stayed there.

We weren't aware that the unit was above the owners unit and appeared to be accessible as there was a staircase just inside the house with a baby gate leading downstairs. It was a bit unnerving not to be able to "lock" someone out as we had no idea who the person(s) were below us that appeared to have access to out unit. They also BBQ'd steaks one night and the grease/smoke permeated our space... it aired out in 30 minutes or so, but was pretty hard to take..The view is incredible and the unit very comfortable. The accessibility just really bothered us as 2 senior singles....

Great location and amenities

Perfect size for two couples to stay in Hood River. Proximity to the 7 streams trailhead and cathedral ridge winery was a great perk, and for mountain bikers having a garage for storage is awesome!

Hiking Weekend At Hood River, Oregon

We’re from Rochester, NY and arranged this visit to spend time with our daughter who lives in Seattle. As planned, this home was conveniently located near beautiful hiking trails as well as good restaurants. The home was well furnished for our needs, clean and spacious.

Beautiful View

Property was clean, beds were comfortable, beautiful view from the dining area and deck, good off street parking. Only issue I had was with the blow dryer overheating, needs to be replaced.
