Sea Gift Cottage vacation August 2025

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely love the location of this house and the fact that it allows pets. The house is expensive to rent but due to those facts, we continue to rent. We do believe it could benefit from a few updates or changes. here are some of our recommendations:The shower in the upstairs southernmost bedroom bathroom does not drain, I think we mentioned this last year but this year it was even worse. You take a shower and end up in ankle deep water that does not drain. The pool was rather dirty when we got there and was not serviced during our week long stay. The downstairs rec room really has a mildew type odor. We tried to run the AC down there but it did not really help. Overall, I think the cottage could use some updating in furniture, new pillows, and kitchen counter tops. A Kuerig coffee maker in the kitchen would be nice also. Would love to see the owner get an updated tv for the family room and possibly move it for better viewing (over the mantle would be perfect).

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful week at Sea Gift Cottage on St. Simon's Island. The rental house is great; the fourth year we have stayed in the same house and plan to return next year. The management staff is very responsive if there are issues, but really that is very rare. The house is always clean and well stocked with starter essentials like paper towels and toilet tissue.

Sea Gift July 4th vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Fabulous house and location. We enjoyed the front porch immensely! The only suggestions I would make to make the experience even better would be:Plumber work on shower in upstairs bedroom (one with attached bathroom). The shower does not drain well and gets very slippery and dangerous due to soap residue. It would also be nice to have a keurig coffee maker. Other than that, perfect stay!! Thank you

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at Sea Gift for several summers. As usual, it was perfect again! The only complaint I have is that garbage pickup schedule makes it difficult when the bin is filled from prior guests the Saturday we arrive. I know this is probably city scheduling and can't be changed. This is absolutely the only thing I would change if I could.
