Med sina vÀlvda tak, smakfull inredning och underbar utsikt över bergen Äret runt blir du inte besviken om du vÀljer att bo pÄ "Sparrows Nest". Sovrummet har en queen size-sÀng, platt-TV och en pittoresk utsikt över bergen och uteplatsen frÄn fönstret. Badrummet har en dusch i full storlek och massor av mjuka handdukar och mycket varmt vatten och en tvÀttmaskin och torktumlare. Köket har rostfria apparater i full storlek: ugn / spis, mikrovÄgsugn, diskmaskin, brödrost och kylskÄp med ismaskin, en Kureg och vanlig kaffekanna. Det finns gott om köksredskap, rÀtter och redskap och en frukostbar med bekvÀma avföringar. Vardagsrummet har en utdragbar soffa med en fullstor madrass, TV och utsikt över bergen. Cathy was wonderful and very helpful. The cabin is very clean and well stocked. We had a wonderful time. Asheville is a beautiful area we did not ski we hiked and visit the Biltmore house. Perfect trip.

The cabin is lovely, very beautifully decorated and has everything you can think of. Communications with owner were non-existent during my stay. That’s the only part of the rental which was disappointing.

Cozy cabin. It’s small, but very organized and clean. We absolutely loved our stay. It was a very private place, close to anywhere you really wanted to go. The owner provided a lot that we usually have to bring ourselves or go buy. The porch and front yard are the best features. We spent majority of the time outside! Such a beautiful view. Definitely recommend.

peaceful and charming

Our hostess thought of everything. The small but very comfortable home has a comfy bed, comfy couch, and a delightful outdoor eating area, weather permitting. What we wanted, we got! a beautiful mountain view, and peace and quiet. coming from the city, we wanted to wake up hearing the birds, not cars, and this fulfilled that desire. we would LOVE to stay here again!

Gorgeous view and cute cabin!

Its about 15-20 minutes away from Biltmore and 20 minutes away from downtown asheville. Very cute place with a gorgeous view and literally anything you mightve forgotten. Washer and dryer, soaps, seasonings, plenty of coolware, and extra sheets and blankets. The place is small but perfect for a Valentines Vacation like mine. Spent a whole week here and had a wonderful time. We'll definitely be back.

Not the five star experience we expected

The host never met us to go over the property and how to work things got stung by a wasp. There was a wasp nest under the stairs. The fire pit was full of old ashes and rusted. The outside property did not look very well kept Inside was charming, but very small overall clean inside

Outdoor photography is one of my favorite hobbies. And with the abundance of wildlife, birds, waterfalls, streams, and colorful seasons it is easy to always find something to fill the frame. I am also a North Carolina real estate Agent/Broker and enjoy finding homes for people who want to move our beautiful mountains. I have a great love and appreciation for the mountains and am very grateful for my heritage. To own a place where others can come to stay and enjoy this lovely area is such a privilege.

The location of the cabin very convenient and an easy drive to downtown Asheville, the Biltmore Estate, Grove Park Inn, Blue Ridge Parkway, NC Arboretum, Maggie Valley, Harrah's casino, and Cherokee Indian Reservation. Outlet shopping, Antiquing, and of course beautiful waterfalls, tons of hiking and biking trails, zip-line, golfing, fishing are close by and ready for your enjoyment.
