Välkommen till vår nya stuga (Among the Peaks) ligger bara tjugo minuter från Burnsville North Carolina och en timme från Asheville. När du anländer till The Peak Cabin kommer dina första ord att vara Wow! titta på vyn. Bergskedjan tar dig andan. Steg in i vår nya stuga som erbjuder tre sovrum, kung, drottning, drottning. och två fulla badrum tillsammans med en halv bad på huvudnivån. Kvalitet handdukar och sängkläder tillhandahålls.

Köket har vackra bänkskivor i granit och rostfria vitvaror och är fullt utrustat med moderna köksredskap, kaffebryggare och allt du behöver för att laga mat.

Njut av den rymliga planlösningen från köket till det bekväma vardagsrummet, som inkluderar vackra gasloggar, stor tv och fantastisk utsikt över bergstoppar.

Från köket finns en uppsättning franska dörrar med direkt tillgång till det täckta sidodäcket. Däcket erbjuder bekväma utemöbler och steg till eldplatsen som över ser bergstopparna. Fantastisk!

Amazing place and hosts!

The beautiful pictures of the house and scenery don't do it justice to being there in person! Everything was exactly as described (actually better!), and the house has everything needed for a wonderful stay. The host's communication was exceptional. Check in and out was very simple and the hosts provide great detail on the entire process. We can't wait to stay here or one of their other amazing properties.

From the moment we crested the hill on the drive way our jaws dropped, it was one of the greatest views we’ve seen in a long time, the cabin was perfect and quiet, definetly recommend

Amazing views in a very nice house. Plenty of room in a relaxing setting.

We stayed for a long weekend and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The amenities are quite impressive considering the remote location. Peace and quiet around a fire was our favorite part other than the views from above the clouds.

Very nice, comfortable cabin

The home is excellent. Very nice modern but rustic, well equipped kitchen area. Gas fireplace is a nice touch for winter time.

We enjoyed every second of staying at this beautiful home ! Let me just say when you enter the driveway of the home were the house actually sits you will be amazed and stunned by your view ! First let me start off by saying pictures do not do this view justice! It’s beautiful and different everyday. We saw deer everyday. The cabin is so nice and cozy. We will definitely be back.

Picturesque, relaxing, and peaceful

The moment we arrived, we were awestruck by the view outdoors and amazed what we saw indoors. The cabin is comfortable with all of the comforts of home. Working with Michelle and Danielle was easy, and they were professional. The description on the Vrbo website was quite accurate. We have not returned to a vacation spot in the past, yet this is one we plan to revisit again!

Fabulous Mountain View’s

This was our 3rd stay at Among the Peaks. Ever changing Mountain View’s and very comfortable home. Lots of wildlife - birds, bunnies deer and even a bear sighting! We had some resident Phoebes that had a nest full of chicks. Got to watch all 5 fledge from the nest! Highly recommend this mountain top retreat

Wonderful Experience

The view was amazing. The property was clean and secluded. We had a fantastic trip and would recommend this place to anyone. Be aware the driveway up the the house is a pretty steep gravel driveway about .5 mile long. I made it up and down in my Mini Cooper, but if you have an option of bringing a 4wd vehicle, I would recommend to do so just in case. Overall, a rememberable vacation!

Among the Peaks is Among the Views

Loved the cabin, wish we could live there among the views. Had everything we needed, kitchen well stocked, plus essentials that make a trip comfortable and easy. Bed and furniture comfortable. The only suggestion we had was to label the multiple light switches in kitchen and living room; we never could figure out the one kitchen light. Property manager communication excellent. We hope to come back some day.

3rd Stay, Still 5 star, awesome views, beautiful property

This was my 3rd stay at "Among the Peaks", it feels like home rather than a vacation spot. The hosts of this property are amazing, they checked up on us throughout our stay. They seem more like friends than VRBO hosts. Every year I witness beautiful sunsets from the front porch and beautiful sunrise from the side porch. It really is a different picture every day. The cabin itself has always been clean upon my arrival, you can smell the freshness in all the bed and bath linens. The kitchen is well stocked with anything you may need. I will be back next year for my 4th stay.

Picturesque and dream like

My husband and I have never been to NC and wanted to try something new. We came across this cabin and fell in love through the pictures. Upon arriving we were in awe of the beauty of this location- the cabin AND the views far exceeded our expectations! You are definitely among the clouds and peaks here and we cannot wait to come back. This was just what we needed! Hiking in the area, tubing/rafting nearby, quaint little shops and places to eat added to the perfection of this property! Thank you for sharing your beautiful place with us and we look forward to another visit- this time for longer!!!

Wow Wow Wow

Do not pass this one up. The pictures don't do it justice. Absolutely gorgeous views. Cabin was just what we needed. Plenty of room for the 4 of us. The gravel road leading up to the cabin is pretty exciting (pretty much one lane and steep). The best I could figure is it is around a 600 ft. climb in 8 tenths of a mile. Saw deer almost every day. We will hopefully be back sooner than later.

Perfect Mountain Getaway

For anyone who has hesitations about this property, you will not be disappointed. Upon arrival the property was spotless, beautiful and cozy with all the amenities you might need and more. The views of sunrise and sunset are stunning, with each day providing a different picture. My favorite spot was the large full front porch with rocking chairs and glider, the perfect spot for relaxing mountain views. The hosts of this property have done everything possible to make you feel at home and are available should you need anything. When I stopped for fuel and food in the small town of Bakersville everyone was so kind and generous. Beautiful well maintained property, better than expected stay, can't wait to come back.

What a view!

I have to say, that is one of the nicest views I have seen in a while. Being able to see a 180 degree view of the mountains was awesome! We went in August to see the Perseids Meteor Shower and when the sky was clear they were awesome! The fog in the morning was a bit eerie, but that just added to the adventure. We stayed on the porch/patio for the majority of our time there. Really enjoyed it! The final part of the drive was not quite as bad as some folks had said, just take it slow and steady and you will have no issues. Thanks for having us!

Above the hawks

This cabin sits at a pretty high elevation. We frequently saw hawks soaring below us which was a great sight to see. The pictures do not do this place justice. It is clean and each room is pretty spacious boasting beautiful mountain views. The kitchen is well equipped if one feels like cooking. Since the cabin is at a high elevation, there is a long gravel driveway. While it is well maintained, our car did get stuck on the way up more than once. We will definitely use a 4 wheel drive during our next stay.
