The photos are accurate. However the master bathroom was missing a shower curtain, and the tub did not look like it had been used in a long time. There was lots of buildup on both shower heads. The grill igniter didn't work. There were no covers for the windows on either door or on the kitchen. The property was tidy, but the shower situation was concerning. I tried to call 3 phone numbers listed, including the business number, during business hours. No answer. The property manager did answer messages on vrbo within a fee hours. It was an adequate place to stay.

The owner is currently in the process of making a number of upgrades and improvements to the property. As you may have noticed during your stay, new couches and other furniture have already been added, and this is just part of the updates that are underway. The owner plans to continue making improvements throughout the home, and the items you mentioned—including the shower curtain, shower heads, grill igniter, and window coverings—are being addressed as part of that process. We sincerely apologize that the missing shower curtain was not caught prior to your arrival. We appreciate you bringing these items to our attention, as feedback like this helps us identify things that need additional attention while the property is being updated. We are also sorry that you were unable to reach someone by phone when you called. We do our best to respond to our guests as quickly as possible, and we’re glad we were able to communicate with you through VRBO messaging during your stay. Thank you again for your feedback and for choosing to stay with us. The owner is investing in many improvements to the property, and we’re excited about the updates that are already underway as well as the additional improvements that are coming soon. The view here is absolutely phenomenal—the photos truly don't do it justice. The house is very cute, cozy, and welcoming. The hot tub is a fantastic addition and offers the same breathtaking view as the front porch, making it a perfect place to relax.Check-in was simple and hassle-free, and Melissa's communication was excellent throughout our stay. It's an amazing getaway for a couple, with plenty of fantastic food options nearby.The only thing I would change is that there are only two TVs in the house, both of which are smaller and not smart TVs. Other than that, everything was wonderful.Overall, this was a 10/10 stay, and I would definitely recommend it We will be back

Perfect Family Getaway

Our Family of 4 enjoyed our stay at Sunset Ridge! It was a perfect weekend mountain getaway! The views were amazing! We enjoyed being able to use the hot tub to relax! Management was quick and responsive to our needs! Would definitely stay here again!

Good location

Overall it had everything I needed. The property felt private and had nice views of the mountain, yet I was still close enough to amenities like a grocery store (10-15 minutes down the road) and restaurants in downtown Burnesville.
