Söt remolded mysig stuga med egen ingång och uppfart belägen på vår 2 tunnland fastighet. Stugan sover 5. Sovrummet har dubbelsäng. Det andra sovrummet har en våningssäng med full storlek säng med två enkelsängar på toppen. Köket har alla bekvämligheter du behöver. Det finns en marknad, närbutik och pisstuga på gångavstånd. Stugan har en smart TV med Amazon för att titta på filmer, WIFI och en uteplats utomhus.

Peaceful retreat

Beautiful property and cottage. Was perfect place to enjoy some farm life. Even had some deer stroll through in the morning. Would recommend for anyone looking to visit the area.

Lovely stay

Came down to Oregon for a wedding. Wish we had planned to stay a few more days. Christa and her family are lovely, and the accommodations are amazing. There is a kayak rental on sight, so plan some extra time to enjoy a trip out on the river.

Excellent property with all the details addressed. Clean, comfortable, and convenient. Hosts were attentive but also respected our privacy. Meadow was a lover! Great location. Would highly recommend!

Perfect little cottage!

Great stay. Comfy, safe, farmhouse feel with a convenient location. This home was perfect for our time in Independence/Monmouth. Communication and hospitality was unprecedented. We will definitely book this place again in the future.

Weekend Getaway for Graduation

We were very impressed with the coziness and comfort of this little 2 bedroom cottage in Monmouth. It was a great place for us to stay to attend a family member's graduation from WOU. We had no issues accessing and everything was great during our stay!

A sweet piece of Independence, OR!

For our trip needs, this stay was perfect! For our family of 4, it was definitely cozy for a week stay but we enjoyed it. The open kitchen & living room areas were great. Loved the open shelving in kitchen but everything was a bit dusty. Our girls loved the tetherball and apple trees too. We had hoped for more info on ways to explore the area but overall we are thankful we chose the cottage!

Clean and cozy

Very comfortable and updated. Perfect for our family of four. Sorry we couldn’t stay longer and enjoy the use of the well-equipped kitchen. Very quiet, we especially loved the country setting even though you are in town. Directions to the cottage and it’s use were well thought out and communicated to us. Wonderful place to stay.

Perfect Location For Activities In Salem

What a great community to be in. Great location. Enjoyed our stay and the simplicity of check in and departure. We did not think that we were doing enough when leaving the rental... we did what was asked of us and just a bit more. We wanted to do as much as we could on our part to match the hosts who did their part in providing us a pleasant place to stay.

So comfortable and convenient!

I needed a place to stay because I was working for a week in Polk County. This house was perfect because it combined comfort and convenience. Everything I could’ve needed was there and was easy to find. The host likes to add something special for the guest but I’m not going to tell you what it was for me because I don’t want to set the bar too high. Perfect Location In Independence

A wonderful small farm in Independence. Private and caring property owners. We were treated very well and loved the convenience to the surrounding areas we were there to look at and close to family as well. We hope to be back soon.

Perfect location and amenities!

We planned a surprise 😮 getaway for my daughter and granddaughters during spring break. Took the girls to Enchanted Forest and Chuck E Cheese for some fun around the Salem area. This place was perfect 🥰 The tether ball was a bonus 😉

Great Monmouth/Independence Accommodations

This is the perfect family lodgings for our family of 5. The open concept floor plan along with the bedrooms and bath were just what we needed. Next time we visit, hopefully they’ll have us!

College drop off

This was just what we needed to bring our oldest to college. When she wasnt at the dorm/campus, she easily got to us (with her car but its only about 1.5 miles from campus, so walkable too). Enough space we could all do our own things but small enough we were still with each other. We look forward to staying again on future visits to Monmouth.

Amazing Stay in Independence!

Look no further…This beautiful cottage is simply amazing. Pictures just do not do justice. First of all, it is so welcoming and laid out, and especially in these times, immaculate. The surroundings are perfect, love that apple tree! So much convenience and beauty combined — the kitchen and that island, well now we want one just like it. ;) Christa was so great to work with and we wished we could’ve stayed longer. Thank you for an amazing stay!

We would love for you stay in our cozy cottage and enjoy the farm scenery. Cottage may be rented for short or long visits. Check out Independence Facebook page or City of Independence calendar for up coming Fall, Spring and Summer events. This little town has a lot to offer. Cottage is 20 mins outside of Salem, 25 mins from Corvallis, 35 min. from McMinnville, 1.2 hr from Portland and 1.2 hr from the coast. Also local winery's and beer breweries.

Varför värden valde detta boende

We traveled through Independence and fell in love with the town. When this fixer upper property came up for sale. We moved out of the city to the country. We have enjoyed fixing up this little farm. The property includes the cottage, work shed, barn and the main house where we live. We started with the cottage. Took it down to its studs and built it right back up. It's the first house built on the property in 1942.

The cottage is located on 2 acre with views of the barn, and the property along with our furry friends. We have two dogs, two cats, chickens and three ducks.
