Trestugan, byggd 2012 av Amish, ligger på Root River Trail. Leden är utmärkt för cykling, snöskoter, längdskidåkning, rullskridskoåkning och promenader. Kabinen är 2. 25 miles från Lanesboro via leden. För att komma till leden behöver du bara hoppa på din cykel och åka längs vägen runt bondgården.

Stugan ligger på Hwy 250 3. 75 miles med bil norr om Lanesboro med naturskön bluffutsikt. Det är fullt möblerade inklusive två sovrum, ett med en king size-säng och den andra med en queen size-säng. Det finns också en futon och våningssängar.

Detta är ett komplett hus med allt du behöver, utom mat. Njut av den natursköna bluffutsikten medan du sitter ute på den täckta verandan med en kopp kaffe eller ett glas vin. Det finns gott om utrymme att ta med familj eller vänner eller bara en älskad att njuta av en romantisk undanflyg.

What a beautiful home nestled in the woods so peaceful cousins get away we had fun shopping local Amish farms and Lanesboro will have to put some trash bags we could not find any

We stayed in a lovely log cabin, 3 miles out of Lanesboro. The inside was also beautiful! I hope we have the opportunity to stay there again.

Lovely, casual setting suited us perfectly for a 3-night stay with day bike rides on the Root River Trail. We did not do any cooking. Beds were comfortable, nice towels, shower soaps & shampoo provided and the place was clean. Seating on the deck and patio were private. Small firepit, lots of cut wood and star gazing our last night was a great way to unwind!

Cabin was VERY nice and clean, spacious. Hosts were very attentive to our messages. We would give 4.5 (but that was not an option, so we gave 4) only because access to the trail was not as easy as we thought it would be based on the online description. We just rode to different towns or other access points each day we were there. Lanesbor was a quick 5-10 min drive away.

Great cabin along the Root River trail

A wonderful weekend with friends. Cabin had great access to the Root River trail. Loved the outdoor porch with swings to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Very clean and a wonderful kitchen.

Improvements

Location and home were excellent, however it needs much better lighting in the living room. We all used our headlamps to read!Overhead cams in the kitchen were burned out as well. We had to run out early Saturday morning to buy toilet paper. Porch furniture needed to be cleaned. We washed the table and chairs so we could use them.

Great Biking Location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room for the five of us. While we knew it was close to the trail; the access was a nice surprise. The covered porch was a great spot to relax.

2025 Father, Son, and Son-In-law

This is was our third year staying here and as usual, it was amazing. The owners are extremely accommodating, friendly, and so well organized.The cabin is immaculate and the check-in process is so easy. I would easily recommend this to anybody looking for a place to stay in the area.

Great, quiet spot in a nice location

We enjoyed staying here to fish the beautiful streams of the Driftless area. It was a nice quiet location still close to Lanesboro.

We owned the land for 20 years and always wanted to build a log cabin on it. The quiet of the country and the beautiful scenic bluff views make a relaxing atmosphere. Having coffee in the swings or love seat on the covered porch or a glass a wine is a great way to start and end the day!
