Trestugan, byggd 2012 av Amish, ligger på Root River Trail. Leden är utmärkt för cykling, snöskoter, längdskidåkning, rullskridskoåkning och promenader. Kabinen är 2. 25 miles från Lanesboro via leden. För att komma till leden behöver du bara hoppa på din cykel och åka längs vägen runt bondgården.

Stugan ligger på Hwy 250 3. 75 miles med bil norr om Lanesboro med naturskön bluffutsikt. Det är fullt möblerade inklusive två sovrum, ett med en king size-säng och den andra med en queen size-säng. Det finns också en futon och våningssängar.

2025 Father, Son, and Son-In-law

This is was our third year staying here and as usual, it was amazing. The owners are extremely accommodating, friendly, and so well organized.The cabin is immaculate and the check-in process is so easy. I would easily recommend this to anybody looking for a place to stay in the area.

Great, quiet spot in a nice location

We enjoyed staying here to fish the beautiful streams of the Driftless area. It was a nice quiet location still close to Lanesboro.

Stay alone Root River

We decided to get away and take a short trip in the Root River area. This cabin came up and we decide to get something with a fully functioning kitchen (we have dietary issues). A nice quiet location, which we enjoyed.

Another great stay

Three of us stayed here last February. Enjoyed it so much came back with two of our friends. As like February our stay was wonderful. We were able to take nice walks as the weather was perfect. The house is very well stocked. Only other comment is the pictures on the website needs to be updated. Would most definitely stay again if we get down this way again.

Beautiful, comfortable and private rental

We really enjoyed our stay here. It had access to the Root River trail, which high on our wish list for this trip. We all slept comfortably and enjoyed to shared spaces together. We were surprised there were no blinds in the home, which was not a problem for anyone but the young children needing to nap in the middle of the day.

Beautiful place and great town

We stayed here with a group for a girls weekend . We did lots of fun things like kayaking and biking. The cabin we stayed at was beautiful and fit the location perfectly would definitely stay here again.

One of the best places we’ve stayed

So quiet and lovely. Very peaceful. Well stocked kitchen to be able to cook. We have stayed at a lot of Vrbo places and this one is in the top 5. Loved being able to use our fire stick. Comfortable bed. Loved sitting on the back deck in the swinging chairs.

We owned the land for 20 years and always wanted to build a log cabin on it. The quiet of the country and the beautiful scenic bluff views make a relaxing atmosphere. Having coffee in the swings or love seat on the covered porch or a glass a wine is a great way to start and end the day!
