Njut av din semester i vår nybyggda timmerstuga. Två sovrum komplett med nya minne skum queen sängar och tv.

Inkluderar loft w / futon för 1 liten extra gäst.

Två fulla bad med promenad i duschar och dubbla handfat. (inga badkar)

Anpassat kök innehåller alla bekvämligheter för hemlagade måltider. Bänkskivor i granit, rostfria apparater och diskmaskin. En gasgrill tillhandahålls för cookouts.

Tre platt-TV-apparater för användning med ditt netflix- eller hulu-konto. Begränsad celltäckning på enheten upp, men vi har wifi och våra Verizon-mobiltelefoner fungerar bra i kabinen. Det finns ingen fast telefon.

Lätt att starta eldstad med eldstad för massor av fönster för att njuta av lång och kort räckvidd från bergen. Det finns också en eldstad för att njuta av svala bergsnätter som steker marshmallows eller korv.

Stor, kraftfull badtunna med enkel åtkomst på däck, bara några steg från huset. Stjärnorna är otroligt underbara på en klar natt.

Gated community med stigar och ett litet klubbhus. Enheten är brant. Ett fyrhjulsfordon rekommenderas för vinter- eller dåligt väderresa. Inga återbetalningar för dåligt väder, men vi kommer att kreditera dig för en framtida vistelse. Adressen kan inte hittas på GPS. Vi rekommenderar att du skriver ut eller använder en skärmgrabb av anvisningarna innan du lämnar hemmet.

Bryson City, Nantahala Outdoor Center, Fontana Lake, Harrah's Casino, Cherokee och en ingång till Blue Ridge Parkway / Smoky Mountains är alla en snabb scenisk bilresa bort. Bryson City-området är hem för underbara restauranger, bryggerier, Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, vandring, forsränning, zip-foder och kanot.

Beautiful weekend.

Great place to spend some time with family. Property is well maintained and clean. I will say it is defiantly off the beaten path, and I say that in a good way. We traveled with motorcycles and we were kinda sweating the driveway, but it turned out not to be a problem at all. The views from the back porch and living room area are spectacular! Little flairs thrown in by the owners made us laugh. (ie instructions for operating the upstairs AC)We rode the Moonshiner 28, and took a ride to the "road to nowhere." Lot's of places to eat and enjoy in Bryson City. The Italian Restaurant was a great night.

Weekend away

Blue bear is a great cabin, close to Bryson City, it's everything you look forward to in a vacation, clean will maintained with excellent views... highly recommended... it's my second time staying and I'll be back again

Another Great Stay at Blue Bear Cabin

Blue Bear is a great spot to get away in the mountains. The property is just as described in the descriptions. The cabin is well kept and a perfect spot for our family. Thank you Tom and Vicki for another great trip to Bryson City!

The View!

The view was absolutely spectacular, even on rainy days. We loved the porch, the hot tub, the fire pit, the game in the loft and of course, the view!

Beautiful views from the cabin

The cabin was near the top of the mountain and remote. Had wonderful views that pictures can’t do justice. You will find yourself taking the same picture off the balcony each morning because of how good the view is.

Heavenly Retreat

Blue Bear cabin provides one with a beautiful, tranquil, get away. Once we pulled up to the cabin, we never left till the day we checked out. We couldn't take our eyes off the breathtaking views. Talk about a relaxing vacation! Blue Bear delivers!

A wonderful view, perfect retreat!

We loved everything about the blue bear cabin! 20 min from the Polar Express and other Bryson city fun. The home is perfectly set up for a small family to enjoy time in the mountains. The owners wear very curtious and emailed with answers to any questions very quickly!! Loved the Dutch shuffleboard game. Great place to stay!!

The owners were attentive and helpful before arriving. Very comfortable cabin with everything but a blender, but Vicky said she'd be adding that to the kitchen soon. Thanks for sharing such an exceptional place with us!

Majestic View

Get ready for some twisty roads but wow what a payoff! Stunning view and beautiful cabin with large private hot tub. We chose to do our exploring once a day and come back to enjoy a relaxing dinner at home. Bryson City is about 30 minutes away. Great communication with the owner. Highly recommend!

Just Simply Awesome!

Beautiful! Awesome Views! Well thought out accommodation! Everything you need for an Awesome Stay! Just bring the food you want before you make your way up Alarka rd. The drive back down the Mtn is tIme consuming. I would recommend 4 wheel/AWD SUV type vehicle! And turn left into Alarka Highlands!

Beautiful setting

It’s quite a drive to the top but you are rewarded with spectacular views! House is well equipped and had everything we needed for a great stay. I do wish I would have followed recommendations from others about an SUV. While not required in non winter months it definitely would have been more appropriate for the trip up the mountain.

Absolutely stunning!

This relaxing cabin is just what we needed for our 25th anniversary. Gorgeous views. Extremely quiet, especially when the closest home to it is empty. We found that we didn't even want to leave to go do things. You can spend the entire day just sitting on the porch relaxing. That's a good thing, because getting up and down the mountain is no joke. We highly recommend it, but be careful on the last 250 ft of road before the house. Extremely loose gravel on a steep grade that you have to get a run for unless you have four wheel drive. Vicki responded to us in a timely manner.

Great Getaway.!

The quietest cabin I've ever been in. Nothing but the wind blowing thru the trees and bird sounds and awesome view. Cabin has all your needs, comforts and more. Expect the normal mountain rds. The drive up is 50/50 blk top and gravel if you're driving a sports car, I had NP in my C7. If you're wanting to go to the Dragon. There's a carwash in Bryson.

Top of the World!

Breathtaking views - the drive up to the property was long and windy but it was well worth it. The cabin was exactly as portrayed in the pictures. We would go hiking in the Smokies in the morning and come back to the cabin in the afternoon. The cabin has everything needed - hot tub was wonderful - views were spectacular - we would grill our dinner and sit on the porch and watch the sunset. The cabin was clean and modern - the beds comfortable and technology was all easy enough to figure out! All and all - Excellent!

Worth the Drive

Although it takes about 25-30 minutes to drive up the mountain the end result is hard to beat. Not only is the view spectacular the temperature up on the mountain is at least 8-9 degrees cooler and there seemed to always be a pleasant breeze. Which was really nice when visiting during hot and humid weather. The cabin was an absolutely perfect size for our family of four, the view was awesome, and having a “step down” hot tub was very nice. Like I mentioned the drive is a windy 25-30 minutes but we thought the gravel part of the road was in very good condition. We’ve driven up to other cabins in the past that felt like the car was going to break apart because of the rough road. We really also liked the fact that the fire pit and hot tub are both located in close proximity so if enjoying both we could keep an eye on the kids. We would definitely recommend this property and hope to make it back ourselves one day.

We've been traveling to the mountains for years and always wanted a place to call home when we visit. We fell in love with the views at Alarka Highlands. We loved the proximity to Bryson City. We built the cabin for visitors like us in mind.
