Le Coustalet är en ljus, luftig modernt hus njuter fantastisk panoramautsikt över dalen och den omgivande landsbygden. Den 8x4m pool har ett stort däck i IPE och är i solen hela dagen lång. Den öppna plan lounge / köket ser ut genom 6m långa burspråk mot terrassen, poolen och utsikten. Satellit platt T. V med DVD. och musikanläggning och bredband WiFi. Fullt utrustat kök med separat skafferi. Entréhallen leder till ett sovrum med en dubbelsäng och ett eget duschrum med W. c. Det finns en separat W. c. intill trappan. På övervåningen: barnens sovrum med två sängar och ett stort sovrum med två sängar som kan fogas samman för att göra en dubbel. Det andra badrummet är i tornet utanför landning.

Lovely Belves!

As a family of four consisting of two children we had an absolutely lovely two-week holiday. The views were stunning, the house was very tidy and comfortable. If we were in the area we would stay here again.

Return to the Dordogne

Friendly and welcoming host. Excellent countryside location and central for all the places we wanted to visit. It is a very well equipped and comfortable gite. We managed to enjoy use of the pool on most days during our holiday and the view from the terrace is superb. Fully recommended.

A fabulous family place to stay

This was the perfect holiday home for us. A rural location, yet only 5 minutes from the beautiful village of Belves. The views of the countryside from the house are stunning, the pool is perfect - it kept our children entertained for hours! There is so much to do in the local area, caves, castles, markets and medieval towns and villages. Bernard is a brilliant host. He gave us lots of local knowledge and this really helped us to make the most of our holiday. All in all a wonderful property!

A week in paradise

The view, as we walk out of the door and look across the swimming pool and beyond is never going to leave me, breathtaking. The house was perfect for our holiday as we just wanted peace and quiet. Belves is a 4 minute drive away where there are shops, bars and restaurants which we frequented.

Absolutely superb!

A lovely peaceful property with outstanding views. Completely private and fabulous pool. Very well equipped and immaculately clean. Very helpful, friendly host who was available when needed. Homemade walnut cookies from the host's farm were delicious. Wish we'd booked 2 weeks as there is so much to fo nearby.

Stunning!!

A fantastic property looking out at the Dordogne hills (the view takes your breath away as you drive through the gates and park next to the house) Bernard was a great host- he lives approx 1km from the house but left us alone and text to check it was ok to come and clean the pool before turning up. Good to know he was nearby if needed. A beautiful quiet setting, 10 minute drive to the local supermarket, 10 minute drive to some excellent river beaches or venture 30 minutes or so to Roque-Gageac and Sarlat etc. The house was clean and tidy when we arrived, well equipped for our family (2 adults & 2 teenagers), positioned on a very quiet lane - very rare to see a passing car (maybe 10 a day at most), Bernard’s dog would lay in the middle of the road asleep - showing how rarely there was a car in the village. Pool is not heated but is plenty warm enough due to its positioning in the sun and due to being filtered 24 hours a day it stayed very clean. Cannot recommend highly enough - absolutely perfect!!

Peace close to Belves & Siorac

Lovely break away in a house in a quiet area of Sagelat. Brilliant view, well maintained gardens. House is clean and functional, comfortable beds, dishwasher, large fridge freezer, washing machine, BBQ and a good sized swimming pool that is heated. TV has French and English channels. Internet was 10-15mb with fibre due in the area if you're a digital nomad! Nearby supermarkets, bakeries, petrol, bars within a 10 minute drive. Bernard is approachable and always willing to help with any matter. We would recommend this property to anyone who wants somewhere nice to stay while they explore the dordorgne. Bergerac & Sarlat nearby 45-50m for lovely scenery and hypermarkets. Cheers!

Comfortable little house on lovely hillside, a few minutes from Belves.

Comfortable furnishings, very well equipped kitchen and beautiful view. Great downstairs shower, ( upstairs is tub with handheld) good WiFi. Well situated for exploring the Dordogne on the region’s twisting roads. We usually ate dinner in, but had a nice dinner down the hill at Auberge de La Nauze. (Reserve)

Séjour fantastique

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans la maison de Bernard qui est très accueillant et disponible. La maison était impeccable et très bien équipée. Rien ne manquait. La vue est sublime et le cadre très calme et ressourçant. La région est magnifique et compte de nombreuses activités culturelles et de loisirs. Nous reviendrons dans cet endroit exceptionnel.

Entspannung pur

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Haus war sorgfältig eingerichtet und bestens ausgestattet. Wunderbar der Garten nebst Pool! Schatten spendende Bäume machen die heißen Nachmittage angenehm. Wochenmärkte und Sehenswürdigkeiten sind schnell erreichbar. Bernhard, unser Gastgeber, macht einen super Job! Bis zum nächsten Mal!

Excellent séjour à Carves

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette belle maison. Les prestations sont parfaitement conformes à l'annonce en ligne. La propreté de la maison était irréprochable à notre arrivée et trouver les lits fait après plusieurs heures de route a été très appréciable. L'accueil de Mr Brett, l'hôte des lieux, a été par ailleurs fort agréable et ses gentilles attentions à notre égard nous ont ravis. Cette location est sans conteste à retenir.

Superb!

Just returned from a really lovely stay at this gite. Bernard is a welcoming and friendly host and on hand should you require anything. We were lucky enough with the weather to be able to use the pool and the views really are stunning. The gite itself is clean, well equipped and supplied with plenty of towels. We were sad to leave but know we will return in the future.

Superb house in a wonderful setting.

My husband and I and two friends have just returned from a week at Le Coustelet This was a beautiful property in an idyllic setting overlooking the Dordogne countryside. All the facilities were of a high standard and we wanted for nothing. To come back after a day out and be able to sit by the lovely pool was an added bonus. The owner Bernard Brett was on hand should we need any help and was a very interesting man with a wealth of knowledge of the history of the area. Beautiful, tranquil setting; ideal for getting away from it all

Enjoyed a fantastic, relaxing break in this lovely property with stunning views. The house is well situated for visiting a range of sites in the Dordogne. Bernard was an excellent host, very helpful and a mine of information on the local area.
