Our yearly unplug at Sprit Mound is always perfect! Four years visiting and already looking forward to the fifth! Perfect getaway for us. 5 hour drive is worth it!

Had the most relaxing time at Jan’s cabin. Plenty to do in the area and great to relax by the fire at night. We’ve stayed at various cabins in the area every fall, this is definitely a must return one for us!

Perfect getaway for us! Clean, cute, nice, lots of things to do. Private area perfect for our dogs. Had everything we needed. We had a blast.

Lovely property and the hosts have gone above and beyond to provide everything you could possibly need. Not particularly isolated (there are a few other cabins on the same road) but it's a relatively short and easy drive to some great spots for outdoor adventuring.

Relaxing retreat

The home was cozy, clean and very comfortable. It was a great retreat for our family to relax and enjoy the local scenery, live music and hiking.

Get away weekend

This property was very clean and so well stocked. The deck was the perfect place to sit and enjoy the outdoors. I would definitely recommend this place and would stay again.

Nice place, very clean

Highly recommend this cabin, nice location, lots of wineries in the area and that is what we were there for. Also hit the river boat casino in Iowa, was a fun time. Great place to stay. We left you a whisk and a metal spatula and a few shot glasses, for future travelers!! Thanks for your hospitality!

Family stay

We had 5 people aged from 6-84! The cabin was cozy and perfect. We went to PDC for the day and had a great time. The cabin had all we needed for the stay! We do wish it was less windy so we could have had a fire outside!

Cabin in the WI hills

Beautiful cabin, Everything you could possibly need for your break from the hustle of your day to day life. No TV, internet or such to disturb your sunny deck relaxation and a great campfire spot. We had the best time!
