Kom och besök vår söta Huckleberry Cottage inbäddat i skogen på privat Old Hatchery Lake, Union, nära Hood Canal, Lake Cushman och Puget Sound. utanför Shelton, co Mason.

Vi har en (Dock) med (Canoe), (Roddbåt), och för din bekvämlighet, (Fiske) tackla och flytvästar (A fiskekort Washington State krävs). (Rent vatten Simning !!) .. Komplett kök, tvättmaskin torktumlare och mer ...

Det finns vandringsleder för att visa bergskedjan OS och dal Skokomish River och Indian Reservation. Och Hood Canal .. {Och nära Lake Cushman, 11 miles lång!}

Vi har i närheten shopping på Hunter Farms, med färsk fisk och skaldjur, och en liten djurpark, på hwy 106, 1 mil. Och downtown Shelton. Med den bästa fina middagar eller tillfälliga matrestauranger. Walmart Super Store 2 miles.

Njut av vilda djur ... Alder Brook Golf Course inom 10 miles. Vänligen pickup besökare guider.

Woodsy wonderland

We had a very nice stay here. The cabin and lake were just as I’d imagined. We did not want to leave! Kayaked around the lake, cooked delicious meals in the kitchen, and hiked around the area.

Peaceful and quiet getaway!

Got this as a gift for my Mom and Dad who love to just relax at the lake, fish and troll around on the boat. They said they just loved how private and quiet it was there! Cabin was really nice and remote, has enough space to take the family. Nice lame, caught some trout and did some swimming. We will definitely be booking again!

Inaccurate listing

Wifi is noted as a listing amenity AND IT IS NOT. I chose this place based on 2 things--pet friendly and wifi. I wanted to have a working holiday with family, instead I spent 20minutes both ways driving into town and sitting at a shop for a couple hours to use their wifi instead of being with my family. In response the owner said: "The company is run pretty much out of the country nowadays so you'd never know what they're going to do". No ma'am that is not why your listing is inaccurate. If the owner doesn't know how to update their listing the onus is on them, because people pay $100s &$1000ks to rent, to be extremely transparent at the very beginning of their flowery description stating: THERE IS NO WIFI, DESPITE WHAT THE AMENITY LISTING SAYS.We were locked out of the cabin on the 3rd day and sent a message to the owner. Luckily we kept trying the code for about 30 minutes and got in because the owner responded 3 hours later that this was a known issue and there was a trick to get in.That should have been part of the check in information and this would have easily been avoided. There are 4 houses on the very small lake (not 3 as the listing states) with a very large 5th house being built. There were only 2 families using the lake during out stay, which was "cozy" and not too crowded feeling. If all those houses were using the lake at the same time, it would be crowded, no way to avoid that and not a dream fishing retreat.The cabin is clean and cozy.

Peaceful get-a-way

Another Wonderful Stay

We love staying at this wonderful cabin. The owner is wonderful to work with. Everything you could want in the kitchen, super comfy beds. Peaceful and quiet setting. To make things even better my spouse caught 6 trout. Very blessed to have found this cabin.

Fabulous as always

Another July 4th here at the cabin, another great time. Gorgeous weather. Great fishing. Kayaking was so relaxing. Some cool books to read. Gorgeous flower arrangement and decor to celebrate the holiday. Just what we needed.

Family Get away!

This property is AMAZING! Clean, cute, quiet and has everything you could need. We stayed two nights in the house and it could not have been a better stay. The home is much larger than it looks, has every thing you could need and was super clean. The lake is perfect, clean, clear and full of fish. My four year old daughter caught a trout on almost every cast! The neighbor Bob was super nice and invited us to come over to his dock so my daughter could watch him feed the fish, that was super sweet of him and she loved it. This is one of those " I gave it 5 stars cause that is the highest option" kind of places. I can not recommend this enough, its just amazing. Annette is an amazing host, and was extremely kind and gracious. The Apperson Family.

Cute Cabin on a Beautiful Lake

The cabin and lake are very nice. We enjoyed our weekend stay relaxing on the dock (when it was warm) and inside (when the weather turned cold) reading, doing one of their puzzles, etc. The kitchen had everything we needed. (Guests should note there is spotty cell service :)

On the Lake

This property is a perfect lake get away with privacy! Adorable house with everything you need including a stunning view of the lake. Kayaks, rowboat, and canoe provided to get out on the lake. Also the lake is stocked with trout! Perfect for fishing right off the dock. The owner is very nice and very responsive. We will be back!!

Great location and cabin

Our second time staying at this wonderful little cabin. Weather was great. Husband and son caught trout so fresh trout dinners...amazing. So glad to have AC as the weather was warm the first couple of days. One of the best things is that there was no wi-fi. Walks around the lake, kayak, hammock time (always travel with our hammock). Owner wonderful.

Wonderful cabin

The pictures listed online do not do it justice! The cabin was wonderful! So clean, so nice, so comfortable, bigger then it looks in the pics, beds were nice, there is also a large nice couch. Dining table for 6, felt like home. My family had a wonderful stay, kayaked around the lake, fished and caught 5 rainbow trout. The dock was clean and comfortable. The neighbors were very close, but we never saw them. I can’t say enough nice things about this property! Thank you!

The children will love watching the salamanders, and walking the trails in view of the Deer, and Olympic Mountain Range... Or swimming in the clean spring feed warm Lake....
