Beautiful lake house with plenty of space.

Three professional ladies came to spend a weekend together for food, drink, and sunshine. The house was as described, photos are accurate, and we had plenty of space. The owners were helpful and communicative. We enjoyed the lake and dock, the hot tub and the lovely backyard. Kitchen has everything you'd need, lots of pots and pans, dishes, cups, and stemware. We'd definitely come back. Thank you!

Calm and quiet

Nice little getaway, perfect size home for two families and two dogs. Everything was a s expected. Felt very homey. Beautiful view of the lake. Would definietly stay here again.

Perfect Lakefront Getaway

We had a wonderful weekend at this little lakehouse! We particularly enjoyed sitting by the cozy fire and relaxing in the lakefront hot tub.The property was super clean and beds were comfortable.The host was extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. He was the nicest host by far that we have ever had.

Great stay!!

We loved the house it was amazing. Only thing I didnt like was the neighbors house being so close and the hot tub being so far down. Its hard to see at night make sure to pack flash lights. Other then that we had fun.

Perfect—Beautiful & Relaxing

We had a wonderful stay with friends at this house on Mason Lake. It was the perfect place to get away for a peaceful, relaxing weekend. The view was beautiful, day & night. The morning fog broke away to blue skies & sunshine—stunning! We enjoyed the hot tub; it was like sitting in an infinity pool as we looked out onto the lake. A bonus was being entertained by bald eagles flying & resting in nearby trees. The house was sparkling clean and comfortable. The host, Steve, checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed and was able to accommodate our requests. Definitely somewhere we’d stay again!

Little delight.

Delightful stay. Weather was not the best but the lake was so refreshing and the hot tub helped with the cold plunge. The owner is super nice and helpful. It was an enjoyable stay and we would go back.

Amazing stay

This is our second time we are visiting this place, the house is amazing the location is amazing. The host is amazing. The host allowed us to stay longer till the evening on the last night. The host took us to boat ride on his boat . We had a wonderful time and we will come back again. Thank you soo much for amazing stay. We will come back again for sure.

Relaxing Get-A-Way

We had a relaxing stay! The views of the lake were beautiful and so peaceful. Even though it was a rainy visit, we found places to visit and walk around. The kitchen was well equiped and the extra living space was handy. Thanks, Steve!

Perfect Lake house

Stayed for a family get together for my Birthday. The house is very nice, clean and right on the lake. Steve was a gracious host and was attentive to all our needs even offered us an extra day due to some landscaping being done next door. All in all a 10+ will definitely be coming back.

Amazing view and excellent hosts!

We have stayed at Steve's Mason Lake house a few times now during the winter. It is an amazing view from the living and dining rooms. We are quite comfortable there and Steve is always helpful and available should any needs come up before or during your stay.

Serenity by the lake

Ideally situated for us, as it was between our nephew and his family out in Shelton, and my brother and sister-in-law in Poulsbo. My family however had never been to Mason lake and like us were impressed by the view and calmness. Perhaps things are a little more active during typical summer weather times and weekends, but we were blessed with perfect weather in the 70s and no lake traffic. The accommodations themselves are perfect for families, as there are 2 distinct living areas-a little more than we required for the two of us. Our host Steve was easy to work with, and quickly brought us an iron when we could not locate one in the rental. The only downside is the light in the driveway because it shines so brightly it’s easy to think it’s morning if you awake during the night, and can be difficult to fall back asleep. So if you’re a light sensitive person I recommend an eye mask! We couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more except had we stayed longer. We would definitely look to stay here again on our next family visit!

This is what getting away is supposed to be!

I have been looking for years for an opportunity to stay at Mason Lake, and this trip met all my hopes. Spacious accommodations, dock on the lake, comfortable bed and furniture, helpful host, even the weather cooperated with warm sunny days.

Great spot on the lake!

We had a wonderful stay! House was well equipped with anything needed, kitchen supplies, towels, etc. Owner was very nice and responsive to any questions we had come up. Hope to return again next summer.

Local vacation

The property is great with morning sub and afternoon shade. Great hiking trails lead right from the home. The way to the beach is really steep so we used the boat launch for our kayaks. Takes about an hour to paddle to the home. Wasps are everywhere due to the stone wall so don't plan to eat outside. But that didn't both us if we had no food. Great dock for diving and amazing stay!

Our lake house boat vacation

We really enjoyed our stay at the lake house. The water at the lake was clean and warm for swimming and paddle boarding. We had such a good time that I am planning on booking for next summer!!!

Lakefront 4th

After a bit of a rough start we overall had a great trip. Shortly after our arrival while getting unpacked and touring around, the gardener's showed up and were mowing the lawn ect. No big deal, we just stayed inside and continued to get settled. When I heard the leaf blower I looked out the window to see a big cloud of dust and rocks being blown right into my car. A bit later while having dinner on the deck, we decided to put the umbrella up to see eachother better. The deck stairs near the table don't have a railing and as I steped back to get out of the way of the umbrella I fell down the stairs and hurt myself pretty good. Later while watching TV in the living room the ants started to appear. A carpenter ant infestation. We just kept seeing and killing them. I vacuumed out under and in the couch (quite a bit of crumbs) and contacted Steve. He was very responsive and droped some traps at the door for us to place around and offered to have someone come the next day to clean/treat. We decided to let the traps do their work rather than have to deal with having someone clean while we were there. The rest of the stay was thankfully much better after the rough start. Beautiful views and great memories with the kids. We enjoyed the dock and being on the lake the most. We got to enjoy a fire on the beach and making smores. The house was well stocked. We did still deal with the ants the whole time but again we declined the offer of further intervention. Overall a great trip.

My favorite place is Mason Lake, Washington, where I spend as much time as possible paddle boarding, wakeboarding, jet skiing and relaxing on weekends and summers. I also converted an older family home near me into a full-time vacation rental so others can visit and enjoy the best Washington has to offer for relaxation and recreation.

I also travel regularly for work and personal and enjoy exploring new areas and finding interesting new places to visit and stay.

The two living spaces (family and living), several living spaces (large and small decks plus dock and beach lounges) provide many areas to relax and enjoy. The lake is beautiful and crystal clear, and the fishing is excellent. This home has all the amenities needed for a small or large group. It has all the cooking utensils / amenities you can think of in a home away from home, with two large seating tables (outside and inside), and dishes for 16.
