Vattentillgång: Tillträde till stranden är ca 1/4 mil och en ganska lätt promenad: Gå tillbaka på samma sätt som du kom in efter andra gatan till Heceta beach Rd. (Heceta blev till Kiewanda st vid 2nd ave.) Sväng vänster på Kiwanda då precis vid 1: a Ave. parkering och åtkomst kommer att ligga till vänster strax söder om hotellet.

Rustic house, multi level floors offered a challenge to we, in our 70’s, to negotiate. Not handicap accessible. Great yard for the pup, comfortable bed.

House is not for people with disabilities!

The seclusion and quietness of the area were great, but then we were there during the week. Beach is just a short drive away.

Not a good place to stay

Deck, patio furniture was in poor condition, did not want to use it. mattresses were in poor condition, hard and lumpy, no one slept well. Mattresses need replacing. Kitchen floor is sloped, we had to get used to that. Living room and furniture are ok. It could be an okay place if it were better taken care of.

Poor rating

Outdoor patio furniture and patio was in poor condition, we didn't want to use it. The mattresses were hard and lumpy, they need to be replaced. Could be a nice place, but needs to be taken better care of. The floors are not level, they slope in the kitchen area. Nice living room and living room furniture.

Cool place

Nice place close to beach- didn’t have a pet with us but you can tell it’s pet friendly, some built up pet hair in the hard to reach places. Didn’t bother us but wouldn’t book it if you have allergies etc. great kitchen for making meals there and good spaces for lounging and hanging out

Road to property

The house was perfect for us. The big problem was driving our Tesla through a foot of standing water on the unmaintained road to the house!

Would Stay Again

Cute 2 bedroom house. Kitchen was well stocked and all appliances worked well. Love that it is pet friendly and has a fenced back yard. Short walk to the beach. Fit the bill for what we needed.

Quiet location

It was easy to find with the Garmin. The inside was spaced out so if someone was watching TV someone else could sleep.

It's a cute 2/2 cottage. Minutes from the best beach. Easy access to town. Great in some ways, fell short in a few other ways. Needs some TLC.

Great rental! Short walk to beach

We have kids and pets and live this rental. The yard is fenced and it’s just a short walk to the beach.

Conveniently located place for our family and dogs

This modest, cozy, and comfortable home is conveniently located close to the beach, and felt just right for us and our dogs. We loved the fire pit and thoughtful touches.

Chateau Serenity

this place is a quaint place to stay on the coast. I love the amenities. I love the cabin feel the backyard closest to the beach is great being able to bring your dog is an awesome thing I would highly recommend this place

Decent little house

The house was comfortable, clean (with the exception of underneath the bathroom sink) and well stocked with everything we needed, including firewood near the fire pit. Very pet friendly. Living room furniture could use a little update but we were comfortable, and it served our needs well. We would stay again.

Quiet Little Getaway

Nice place for a quiet getaway. Kind of a quirky little place, but cozy. Needs some TLC on the decks though. Would be nice to update the toilets in both bathrooms or at least one of them to one of the new higher ones to accommodate older folks. 2nd bedroom does not have power outlets that allow for plugging in laptops with the 3-prong power cord, would be nice to have that upgrade.

Not as advertised

The house was dirty, not set up for children, and not close to the beach as advertised. The floors are coming apart, the dishwasher didn’t work, there were weird stains on some of the walls, the comforter on the master bed was dirty, the bedding was cheap and crunchy, the beds were hard as rocks and were actually painful to sleep on, there was one children’s toy, no pack n play, no high chair, so no where for our infant to sleep, there were no closet doors on the closet in the hall so everything was easily accessible for the baby which was stressful, and he found an empty screw top beer can under the sink in the master bathroom- oh, and a nasty old crunchy makeup brush. The house was dark even though the pictures made it look light and bright. The master bathroom toilet runs after flushed for quite a while, and you have to cross your fingers and hope it actually flushes. The couches are so old that it feels gross to sit on them, definitely not relaxing. One of the couches is covered with a gross slip cover. This house is advertised as being super close to the beach, however it’s a bit of a walk especially with little kids, we ended up driving. We will not be staying here again. I would have gladly paid a little more for a cleaner and more updated house.

Rental house that is a bit tired

Pros- quiet neighborhood near the beach. New appliances, baseboard heaters work well after the first night, nice deck and garden. Cons- neither bed was very comfortable and the second bed was like a cheese grater. Ended up sleeping on the couch which was also worn out. House was cold the first night. We were not able to make the pellet stove work, but didn’t realize we didn’t need it until after we bought pellet starter gel. Kitchen utensils and pots were dirty and worn. The random collection of flatware and kitchen gadgets made cooking an adventure.
