I Oregon betyder "gå till kusten" inte alltid "att gå till stranden." Denna lakefront stuga är levande bevis. En unik möjlighet att koppla ur och koppla av eller vara värd för några generationer av familj. Du kommer noga att vilja spendera hela resan och ta dig i avskilt landskap eller lounga på bryggan. Det är, när du inte njuter av det bekväma vardagsrummet med utsikt över sjön!

Om du vill utforska, Old Town Florence, stranden, den ikoniska Heceta Head fyren och några av de bästa sanddynerna i staten är alla fem till tio miles away.

Saker att veta:
När vi säger avskilt menar vi det: Uppkörningen är över en mil lång och oerhört brant. Båt släp och liknande utrustning är omöjliga att ta ner den här vägen, och även lågprofilbilar löser sig i enstaka problem. Men utanför huset finns det gott om parkering!
Kan vara bäst att komma fram medan det är lättare att hitta din dolda reträtt!
Hundar är tillåtna, men bör kopplas om när de är ute.

Du måste kontakta oss för att lägga till mer än en hund till bokningen, om det är tillåtet. $ 20 per hund, per natt. Om husdjur är tillåtna kommer avgiften för den första hunden att inkluderas i den totala kostnaden som anges.

Fun stay

Beautiful location, the price was great. Yes it's dated and a little run down, but it's got everything you need, well equipped kitchen, lots of beds. We brought our inflatable kayaks and having the dock right there was perfect. We had a great time.

Solid 3+stars. And, I'd go back.

While the property might feel a bit tired and worn (certainly dated), access to the lake and seclusion is hard to beat. Amenities and essentials are there and the house offers a surprising number of beds given the cost. There are some things that you'll miss, maybe many. However, if the point is to be able to unplug and be on a lake, it's a pretty great landing spot.

Peace and quiet

The driveway is very long if you are worried about your car getting scratched don't book this place. Great spot on the lake, great to relaxing, but if you planning on going out every day to see Florence. Just keep in mind that it gets tedious driving back in and out every time. My dog love swimming in the lake and so did my kids.

Great view of the late was isolated loved it got some family time in when we were here didn’t have a lot of tech time favorite place to come too more during summer for me!

Great home for the price!

This place is outdated and has a list of things that could be improved....but that's why we liked it. Had a rustic feel and you can't complain about anything for the price. Yes, if it were more expensive, things would need to be updated. We had an awesome stay and the view is absolutely breathtaking. The neighbor is a salty character but we had no problems. I think if you are being respectful, he just minds his business. Would definitely stay here again!

Quaint, open floor plan

Cute old fashioned cabin, basic necessities. Do make sure you review check in instructions and take pictures of instructions, codes before leaving town and having cell phone reception. There is wi-fi once you get in. Once we got in, was a beautiful stay. Would love to stay here again.

A lake house that fits your basic needs!

We had a wonderful stay at this house! The view and dock were amazing! The water access was very secluded and well worth the challenging drive in which we were accustomed to with where we live currently and didn’t mind. A tv and dishwasher would be nice additions but it fulfilled our needs just fine. We appreciated the stay!

Amazing Location

We loved the lake! The dock, and porches were in great condition. There was plenty of room outdoors to enjoy the gorgeous scenery. We ate most of our meals on the deck, and played games, and listen to music. We fished and swim. The only thing I would change, is next time I’d like to stay longer!

Rustic Retreat

Overall we had an amazing vacation here, however a few things i was surprised by. The house is not red, its more of a grey, and the downstairs has a separate key code to enter that is easy to miss in the emails you receive the day before check in, but it is there (just be patient, lol). The gravel road getting up to the house is less than ideal, and a gate you have to get out and open to get down the driveway (that was never mentioned in the listing). Breathtaking views !! Easy access to the water !! Quiet surroundings !! Comfortable beds !!

Great Time <3 <3 <3

This is our 3rd time staying in this Rental, Absolutely love it, we have had so much fun every time, this time was no exception =D BEAUTIFUL VIEW ALL DAY. Weather was great, Water was Fresh, House is a little outdated, but We did not choose it for fanciness. It has everything we needed. I love the New outdoor paint color, and the Layout change in the downstairs room. Hours on end in the water was Everyone favorite part. Thanks for sharing your home with us. We left lots of firewood for the next guest <3

First floor 5stars bottom floor 0

The main floor with the kitchen and the loft was beautiful clean and warm. The bottom floor was freezing! It had a huge black spider behind a picture above the biggest bed. The room after one shower was completely humid and the windows were fogged up for the remainder of our stay. I slept in the bottom and it was hard to fall asleep since you could hear everything thru the thin thin ceiling. After the first night we just brought all blankets and pillows to the first floor and we slept on the floor. Now I’m sure this would be ideal in the summer with kids but I wouldn’t recommend for the rainy weather and 4 adults. It was still a beautiful view and we had a good time. The last day of our stay there was a thunderstorm and it was beautiful to watch from our windows and warmth of the inside

It was ok.

The house is out dated. No tvs, we just used my laptop. Wifi works really well though! The main couch/love seat has a spring wire sticking through that was a pretty big safety hazard for my young children. The rocking chair has a huge hole in the arm rest. I originally booked this house because of the lake and it being a two story I figured kids could sleep up stairs( main area) and husband and I would take down stairs. But the up stairs and down stairs are not connected. You have to walk outside to get down to the bottom room. That was an issue for us with our oldest only being 9. As far as kitchen supplies it is poorly stocked with pots and pans has plenty of plates and silverware though. Beds were comfy and plenty of spare blankets.

DO NOT RENT if you have any allergies to dust, must, and mold. This property is so moldy and musty that it's impossible to breath without keeping windows and doors open at all times. A particular problem with cool weather. Several of us who don't have allergies to begin with, would wake up with allergies, swollen eyes, stuffy nose etc from the musty rooms. BEDDING IS HORRIBLE! There were 7 guests and we all rotated beds for 3 nights hoping we'd all find a better fit. The beds were literally so bad that we had people sleeping on sofas, sofa chairs, a cot and on the floor instead. We even undid the bedding to check if they were actual mattresses! We are very disappointed with the bad back sleeping conditions since we were paying for them Bad: In addition to the musty mold, and the horrid bedding.....there is no recycling available so we had to take it with us when we left. The fire pit is awful, the deck had a huge tree branch across it so difficult and dangerous to get down it, the directions to the place were not clear and we got lost twice. Good: Lovely location and view. Kitchen had plenty of utensils etc.

20+ minutes to property from heart of florence

Not an honest description of how rough the road is to property, and its not just the driveway as listed. The gate to property is a stressful after the rough drive to it, there are 2 keypads and neither one work with code given and no information given to say that the gate code boxes are fake and there is a carabiner type chain that you open to get through. Absolutely nothing listed about this! Wifi information is not what Vacasa sends you in your arrival email, had to contact someone and they were quick on response to me but they didnt have correct information either! Finally found a tiny booklet on table that had wifi info, which was completely different than listed! Ugh. The home is charmingish, but very musty and most of sheets had stains on them. Bedroom bed upstairs very uncomfortable and slept in a hole. You cannot access downstairs from inside upstairs, you have to go outside. Only 2 of the 4 burners work on the stove. Good thing we didnt do alot of cooking there. The view and access to water was only amazing part if this property. Waking up to the peaceful ripples of the lake was breath taking, until you had to turn around and go back inside to dinghy smelling home. All and all I guess you get what you pay for, and your paying for the beautiful view. We will not return to this property again.

The neighbor does not want renters there and very inaccessible

The gate was locked by the neighbor and we were harassed three times by the neighbor within 12 hours. Also very the stairs everywhere made it very inaccessible for elderly. Beautiful location, not much else provided

Great dock, house to be desired!

If it wasn’t for the dock and water access the house would be rated as a 2. It needs to be deep cleaned and a good coat of paint. Ok kitchen supplies but if you like coffee bring your own pot.

Great view

Nice deck with view but bring your own chairs Nice place to swim from small dock. Refrigerator didn’t work until we could reach someone who suggested looking for breaker box. We finally found the right switch. Bottom room smelled rather moldy but upstairs was fine with lots of cooking utensils

Beautiful view, but house is not the best

I really wanted to like this house. I read the reviews and thought I could deal with the things other people brought up. The furniture: was very run down, you sink all the way down in the couch and chairs in the living room. There are stains and holes in them as well. The carpet looks like it's been there for 60 years, I didn't really want to sit on the carpet at all but the furniture was horrible. It felt like a lose/ lose. The kitchen: was stocked enough, no complaints really. Again, just very outdated. The house layout: was SO weird, there is a bedroom in the middle of the living room with blinds as a divider except half of the blinds are missing, and one extra bedroom upstairs. One thing I couldn't tell from the photos is that the bottom room is only accessible via outside stairs. If I had known this it would have been a deal breaker, I have a 12 year old husky we brought, and also a 3 legged dog. So having to go up and down these stairs over and over was tedious with them. Neighbor: I read complaints about the neighbor, we met him, he seemed nice, no complaints there. Each morning his dog did wander down to say hello. Our dogs were inside during this, and are friendly. But if you want to visit with your dog that doesn't do well with other dogs, Id just stay vigilant and know the other dog did visit us. Wifi: we didn't have wifi for the first half of the trip, which was fine but we ended up needing it, after messing around with it we realized the router was unplugged from the modem. Overall our stay was nice and peaceful, it was fine. Im not trying to complain I just want future renters to know what they are going to get. I would say I probably wouldn't book again.
