Oak shade is the sweetest vacation rental we have ever stayed. The house was immaculate and everything so convenient. Charm plus with decor! Location close to downtown and the beach was perfect for our visit to Cruisin the Coast week. Would definitely come back!

Wonderful stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the The Main Suite property in Ocean Springs. The accommodations were perfect and the town is quaint and beautiful. I would definitely return to stay again. 5 stars all around.

Quaint, Lovely Home

We had the best sisters/ladies weekend in the best spot! We will definitely be staying here again in the future! This home is cozy, nestled under the oaks with a great screened in porch for quiet coffee time and wine time. It is very spacious inside and feels very warm and cozy. It was very clean with very nice bedding and comfortable beds. We each had our own room too so that gives plenty of privacy for three people or more. It is Minutes walking distance to the beach and to downtown ocean springs, so the location is spectacular! You can even see a little bit of the water from the screen porch! I will highly recommend it to anyone!

Teachers Weekend Away

This property is a cute little house in an amazing location in town. Our group was able to walk to the beach and walk to downtown which was exactly what we wanted. I cannot say enough good things about the location and our overall experience in Ocean Springs. We ate some amazing food while down there. My review goes south when it came to cleanliness and communication with the management of the property. Upon check in, we noticed a very odd smell that was hard to mask. We thought maybe it would be better after dinner, but came home to it being just as bad. We went to Walmart and bought spray and plug ins. I contacted the management to let them know that something might be wrong. We could not all agree if it was a dead animal, sewage, or something else. The smell was the worse in the living room. Management told me that they couldn't have anyone out right then and that the cleaning crew didn't say anything about a smell. They also offered to refund my second night if I wanted to check out. That wasn't what I wanted at all. I was concerned that something was wrong at their house. We just stayed out of the house as much as possible all weekend except to sleep so stay away from the smell. The management team told they had never had this problem before. I was in no way trying to get out of paying or my stay, but was made via message to feel that way. I am sure people do that with stays, but we are not that group.

Great place. We will definitely come again. Close to everything. My only complaint is that check out is at 10am. It’s hard to get a family up, fed, packed and out the door that early.

We enjoyed the stay in the Main Suite. It was the perfect place to stay in Ocean Springs. Everything was supplied in the suite. It was close to everything which made it convenient. It was very clean. Our pup was with us and could go to the beach with us. We will visit again!

Oakshade in Ocean Springs.

Oakshade was well located between the downtownWashington St. restaurants, museums and access to the beach. The property was extremely clean and hadeverything we needed. We enjoyed the outdoor screenedporch each evening before dinner. It was very peaceful.

The property and neighborhood are beautiful. We have stayed here multiple times. You can hear a bit of traffic at night leaving the beach but it is not horrible. Easy to walk to the beach. Golf carts are available for rent on Government Street to cruise around the area. Plenty of eats, shops, and parks.

Great location!!

The location of this property was perfect! Especially if you are looking to stay somewhere with kids. It was within walking distance of the beach, close enough that our little ones made the walk easily, and the return walk gave the kids enough time to dust off the majority of the sand. The washer and dryer was a must when taking the kids to the beach. There are two parks just a short walk away as well that my children loved visiting. Overall, the property was beautiful and we had a lovely stay!

Our favorite place to stay in Ocean Springs, the front porch being our favorite rooms. Beautiful live oak trees, a refuge for birds, squirrels! What a wonderful refuge! Sharing it with friends was amazing! Thank you!

Excellent Southern Charm

Property was fantastic. Lots of attention to detail. Property is well cared for and clean. It was nice to have music and nice scents upon arrival. Also, the AC and fans were kicking when we arrived, so we were very comfortable. Check in and check out was super easy. Beds were comfortable. Having YouTube TV was a nice amenity, and I wish more rentals had something similar. It was less than a 5 minute walk to the beach and about 10 minute walk to town. Screened in front porch was also enjoyable. Water and ice on the fridge also a plus. One of the better VRBOs I’ve ever experienced. Perfect for my family.

Spacious and well-equipped!

It was wonderful. I have never seen a tree embracing a property like this before. A true miracle tree. The home smelled so clean when I first entered. The bed was soft and comfortable. Soap, towels and hair dryer was provided. The property manager was available instantly when I had a question. My stay was wonderful and I hope I can book this property again in the near future. I can tell that this property is someone’s pride.

Wonderful experience

Lovely Location Close to Everything

Perfect location that makes you feel like you're a real part of the neighborhood; a very relaxed vibe with lovely giant oaks that's a short walk to the beach and beautiful skyline and a short ride or nice stroll away from great restaurants and shops. Very spacious and unique interior and private outdoor patio area.
