The property was located at a perfect spot for kids playing. There were lots of towels available, would not need to bring any extra towels. Tammy was also very responsive host.

Sylvan Lake beachfront stay

Awesome home to gather with family and friends and enjoy time together by the lake. Lots of space, comfortable, home away from home. Patio overlooking lake makes for beautiful views, day and night. Love the sunsets. Our family will be back. Owner is quick to respond and helpful, and makes sure you enjoy your stay.

Absolutely perfect accommodations!

We very much enjoyed staying at the house at Jarvis Bay! The view of the lake is stunning and access to the beach is just across the street. Easy for carrying the paddleboard and chairs to sit and enjoy! We have already booked for 2021 as we wanted to make sure we could stay again! My entire family LOVES it! That says it all!!

Awesome Birthday Celebration

This was our second stay here, and everything was perfect. Able to accommodate our whole family. Owner was very helpful and friendly. Just a perfect week right in front of the beach for easy access. So close to beach, easy to walk back and forth to house for any needs. Highly recommend for some down time, and just relaxing.

We had a most amazing time staying at this beautiful property!! It exceeded expectations in every way! The house is very well equipped; everything from all you would dream of in the kitchen to chairs for around the fire pit. Tammy was very helpful answering all of my many questions ahead of time.

Amazing location

Weather was phenomenal, beach across the street had amazing sunsets and easy to watch the kids. Lawn chairs, fire pit, wood all provided, so didn’t need to pack much bulky stuff. High chairs and lots of kitchen ‘stuff’. Lots of fans to move air around. Big family seating in kitchen. Nice space separation, great deck. Thanks for a great stay!

Sylvan Lake beachfront stay

This is a terrific home for a getaway at the lake. Front porch view of the lake and beautiful sunsets. Lots of space for gathering in the home and room to have your personal space, too. A great place to have a home away from home. Beach area is lovely and water is shallow for a long way out into the lake. Walking distance to Lakeshore Drive and lots of amenities nearby. Owner plans to install air conditioning which will make future stays even more comfortable. A little pricey, but we would love to go back. Owner responded very quickly to texts and emails - much appreciated.

Great location but in of upkeep inside and out. Adequate supply of blankets, utensils. Seating for dining was inadequate. Fridge shelves from the door. Coffee making machines were great.Parking was a pain, being limited to four vehicles when advertising room for 17 people.

Awesome waterfront property! Comfy & spacious. Immaculately clean & proudly cared for. Check-in was a breeze and host is available during stay. Best stocked chef's kitchen (utensils, pots, pans, platters, fruit juicer!, electric griddle, clean bbq, etc) we've ever vrbo'd. Closet FULL of extra towels, linens, etc and TONS of firewood. And the sandy beach - direct view and access - stunning sunsets. Located on peaceful Jarvis Bay, a stroll away from the hubbub of the 'main' beach, if you enjoy a more vibrant nightlife. Really can't say enough! Excellent property for families/larger groups. Will def return!

We are not used to not having a/c so we kept the windows open at night and fans on during the day. The train would blow its whistle up to four times at midnight passing through, that is very jarring!!
A lot of stairs in this home. It is large, older than I thought.
Very beautiful view, great for kids as they can walk out very far into the lake.

Loved the location. Walking distance to town.

The extended accommodations behind the house should be deleted from the listing as it was not habitable. The kitchen had all the necessities. Loved it. We fixed the screen door in the basement as it was banging a lot and did not fit the door frame. The towel bars were not on their brackets, so no where to hang towels. The ceiling fan was loaded with dust. In the master bedroom, there was not a proper curtain. BBQ was really dirty. With this said, our family had a really great time.

Excellent location, accommodations & host! Just Wow!

It was perfect location for our 15 days on Sylvan Lake. We saw amazing sunsets from the deck, from kayaks/paddle boards on the lake and from the house. We had fires in the fire pit, fires in the fireplace and tabletop fires on the deck. Access to the lake was amazing
 just walk out the door and you were there. We spent hours in the water and on the beach. The location was perfect. We could walk or drive to town, walk on the lake shore or just take a stroll through the community. Everyone was friendly. The house was perfect for our family of grandparents, parents and 3 teenagers. Everyone had more than enough space. There was ample room to be together, while offering plenty of room to get away for me-time. So many amenities were supplied at the house. The upstairs kitchen lacked for nothing. We used it a lot. (There are 2 kitchens in the house. We only needed to use the refrigerator in the second kitchen. Teenagers need lots of food and drinks.) We grilled many times on the back deck off the kitchen. Mealtime was a breeze with the spacious kitchen. The host was magnificent! Tammy was so easy and fun to communicate with. She answered immediately when contacted and offered immediate solutions to any request or question. I can’t imagine any other host that could be more attentive. All of our needs were met and/or exceeded. It was a unique, relaxing and memorable vacation! I would definitely stay there again.

Perfect Vacation on the Lake

We had a fabulous vacation in Sylvan Lake. The host was fantastic and very responsive and accommodating. What a perfect location and the home was wonderfully set up for a large family or for a large group. The two Kitchens were well stocked and we enjoyed the ability to feel like we were at home away from home. Very pleased with the detail and all the extras in This Home.

Canada day stay

Family Vacation Home

You can’t beat the location of this home for a family or large group holiday. Right across from the beach with the best, unobstructed view of the lake and beautiful sunsets daily. House has wonderful spaces to enjoy time together and to spread out and enjoy activities separately. Well stocked kitchen upstairs and full suite with kitchen downstairs. Host is easy to contact and ensures you and your guests have all your needs met. Our third year there and love it every time.

Beautiful sunset

A very very short walk across a quiet road to the lake. Could not have been closer. Tammy is a very helpful, friendly owner, checked in by text to make sure we were doing ok and had everything we needed. The house is stocked with everything we needed to be comfortable. Lots of kitchen utensils. We were very happy with everything and had lots of fun. We would stay there again.

Family Get together

Our family get together was amazing! The location was excellent as well as the house. Loved that we could just walk a few steps and we were at the beach! We had the best holiday! The host was great and answered all of questions. We would love to go back!

Family Gathering

We rented this property to stay at during a family wedding that was being held locally. It was the perfect size for our group. The multiple bedroom spaces, the outdoor space and location was perfect for the whole family. We could not have asked for a better place to stay.

We enjoyed our 3rd stay for a week this time. It is a fabulous location and spacious home. It would be nice to have air conditioning but thankfully a few evenings cooled down because of late evening rain.
