We enjoyed our 20 day stay. Any issue we had was addressed as early as possible. If you expect a recently updated unit, this one is comfortable but "dated". We offered several suggestions for some basic updates that we thought would be a plus to future customers, including us! We have alreafy booked this unit for 2026. Enjoy your visit to Georgetown, Tx. Fun, fun place to hang out!! Sun City amenities are also a plus!!

We made reservations on line and property looked good but in person very disappointed. Furnishing dated and worn Recliner was inoperative. Icemaker would not dispense ice. Blender broken. Carpets worn and dirty & need a good cleaning or replacement. TV's were frustrating & difficult to operate. There were no instructions or guide to operate TV. Bathroom light switch broken and unsafe. Garage was crowded with old furniture, outdoor BBQ grills and old rolled up carpets. Very disappointed in VRBO & would not rent this unit again. Bill Nelson

THIS HOME IS GREAT AND IN A BEAUTIFUL AREA

If you’re visiting Georgetown, Stay here!!! It’s less than 15 min away from downtown Georgetown, but so much nicer and the area is beautiful. You get to use the Sun City gym which has tons of machines and free weights as well as an indoor and outdoor pool and hot tub. In addition, there are pretty walking trails and other amenities. The home has a wonderful view in front and a back porch where deer walk through in the mornings and evenings. The bed is comfortable and it has a giant walk in bathroom and walk in closet in the master bedroom. The home is immaculate and best of all it’s pet friendly!!! My 3 cats just sat in the windows and watched the birds, squirrels, deer and even cute foxes. Also, Elizabeth was an amazing host and so professional. She always responded and answered calls and textsvwithin the hour and she even fed and watched my three cats for me when I had to leave for a few days. HOW AMAZING IS THAT!!! The kitchen has tons of cookware and the house is fully stocked on cleaning supplies, soap, laundry and dish soap, etc. There is a blender, and a coffee maker and there is a washer and dryer and a two car garage. I went to visit all nearby towns in the Austin area and I thought this location was the best. When I travel back through I am definitely staying here. Hands down amazing! As if that wasn’t enough, you also get great cable and free wifi and NETFLIX and ROKU and you can record your favorite shows on all 3 TVs!!!

Nice Transition Place

We stayed here while our new home was being completed. Close to everything and allowed us to get oriented to our new neighborhood. Well equipped home with everything one needs for a short- or long-term stay.

Georgetown rental review

Spent 2 months at 314 Essex Lane and had a nice time exploring Georgetown and all it has to offer especially the Mexican restaurants, hiking along the North and South San Gabriel River, the Georgetown Rec Center and outdoor playground for the grandkids. The nature trails near the townhome were great.

Great place to spend the winter!!

The place was well furnished and comfortable, and the hosts were easy to deal with. Being from NY, we especially enjoyed grilling outdoors in January-February, and we took a long walk almost every day. We especially enjoyed meeting all the friendly people who were out walking, or at the stores, at the restaurants, in the churches, and at the golf course. It did not seem to matter who was from Texas and who was not. Our daughter and husband came in from NJ and we toured some of the Open Mic nights together. We went to Gumbo's (on Georgetown Town Square) four times in two months, and we hit a lot of other restaurants. They were all good, regardless of price.

great property, comfortable and clean!!

This is a fabulous home to rent for an extended stay while away from home. We were comfortable in the beautifully furnished home, and pleasantly surprised with the friendly neighbors all around. We came to Texas to shop for a retirement home and to live in and check out the lifestyle of a Sun City. We liked Georgetown and Sun City so much , we purchased our new home and are now happy homeowners in Texas. The home had everything we needed, including Wi Fi , large Tv's, comfortable beds, linens and towels, generous amenities in the kitchen and it really felt just like home. THe owner/landlord was pleasant and quickly serviced our requests for special items. We highly recommend this home and community Happy new Texas

CHARMING NEIGHBORHOOD

This is a very comfortable house in a charming neighborhood that is very quiet. The kitchen is stocked with all the dishes, plates, pots, pans and utensils you could possibly need. There are 3 TV's with DISH. Also, a garage for your car. The owner is extremely nice. At dusk you can sit on the back patio and watch the deer running around. I would return here in a New York second.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay

After making the reservation, we were contacted by Liz to let us know she was happy that we had picked this property. Prior to our arrival, got an email telling us what the security codes were and how to access the property. Liz also gave us her phone number in the event of any problems. We contacted her to let her know we got in without any problems and kept in touch to assure Liz all was going well. Thank you Liz, for all your help prior to our arrival and keeping in touch to ensure our stay was enjoyable.

Warm winter in sun city

Excellent rental. A beautiful decorated home with high end furnishings. We felt right at home in this spacious home. The kitchen was well equipped with sets of dishes & glasses serving 6-8 . everything I needed for cooking. Loved the patio. I watched the deer go by each evening. Wonderful landlord, made check- in so easy, great customer service, but did not intrude. I will definitely highly recommend.

Wonderful accommodations and personal service

Best vacation home I've been to! Completely furnished home and top of the line accommodations. Just pack your clothes and come enjoy your stay in this beautiful community! Just minutes away from everything. Thank you Elizabeth for making us feel right at home, we will be back!

Wonderful stay in Sun City Georgetown

We spent a month at this rental in Sun City, Georgetown. The location was great, convenient to major highways and shopping. The home was clean with a well furnished kitchen. The king sized bed was very comfortable. We were very pleased with how nice and friendly everyone was during our stay. There is a wonderful pedestrian path close by the house which we took advantage of everyday.

Beautiful Home in Sun City

Our children live in the Austin area and we wanted a home nearby to be able to visit for the holidays. This home was perfect for us in every way, clean, comfortable and in a wonderful community. Sun City is a fabulous neighborhood, friendly neighbors and so much to do both in Sun City and the surrounding area. We loved downtown Georgetown. You were so helpful and accommodating. This was our first stay in your home and we plan to return again next year. Thank you!

Enjoyable month.

The house was perfect for our month of 'getting to know" Austin. It was clean, convenient to the Interstate and we love having a king size bed. We also enjoyed visiting Georgetown with it's shops and large selection of restaurants. The Hollow was our favorite.

Great Winter Home

This was our second year to winter at this fine Sun City home. It is very clean, well equipped, and convenient to many activities including golf, shopping, restaurants, nature trails, and a very nice dog park. It is also a short drive to I-35 for those interested in exploring Austin and the Texas Hill Country. Highly recommended.
