Stort öppet vardagsrum med välvda tak och mycket naturligt ljus. Stora rum koncept med passera till helt ombyggda köket. Köket har frukost bar med plats för 5 och utsikt över bäcken. Två sovrum med queen size-sängar och två badrum med master badet är helt ombyggd för att inkludera dubbla duschkablar i duschkabinen. Stor upprätt badkar i det andra badrummet är jetted. Fastigheten är en enhet av duplex och har en 1 bil garage stall och gott om parkering plus det är gångavstånd till centrum eller Westchester lagunen och kustleden. Den andra enheten i duplexen hyrs ut som kontorsutrymme. Gångavstånd till många av både downtown och midtowns bästa restauranger och shopping. Enkel åtkomst till Chester Creek Greenbelt som sträcker sig till APU / University trail system och Coastal Trail. Valley of the Moon Park ligger på andra sidan bäcken från denna fastighet.

Great place with a well stocked kitchen and a a great layout for socializing or chilling out. The attached garage is so convenient. The location is FANTASTIC the walking/biking trail is at your front door along the Chester Creek trail to downtown or connecting to the Coastal Trail where we saw Sandhill Cranes on our one hour round trip walk.

A very comfortable house that provided everything we needed for an easy stay--well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds with lots of good pillows, plenty of towels. Kitchen is particularly nice. Seems very recently renovated. Great room is very large with attractive living room furniture and a huge dining room table.

First Anchorage Visit

We booked the house so we could visit our son who is in the army stationed at JBER. The check in was so easy and the location of the house was perfect. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked- everything was comfortable and easy. We would definitely stay here again.

True Gem

The house is beautiful. The kitchen was one of the best stocked I've experienced and incredibly spacious. We loved the games and puzzles (managed to complete one during our short stay). There is a deck facing the creek which is the perfect place to enjoy some downtime after a busy day of sight-seeing. House is super convenient to everything with off-Street parking. Highly recommend.

Anchorage Gem

The property is a hidden gem! Our family stayed for two weeks and the property was well furnished and clean. The home is very spacious and comfortable for a two bedroom home. The kitchen was well stocked with high end appliances and utensils. There are numerous hiking trails and park right out the back door. Additionally, the owner was few personable and easy to work with. 😊

Even Better Than Expected!

Everything about this house is perfect! It is a 10-15 minute drive from the airport and close to downtown. There is a beautiful creek directly behind the house, with a walking trail and park. The house itself is so well appointed! The kitchen is well stocked for preparing meals with pots, pans, utensils and seasonings. The bathrooms have plush towels and full sized shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The living area is large and would be ideal for a family gathering. The dining table is HUGE! They even had cards, puzzles and games. There is a single car attached garage. And best of all, there is a full size washer and dryer. It feels like they anticipated all our needs. John was very responsive and accommodating. I would definitely stay at this property again.

First VRBO was excellent

The home was everything and more! The good reviews were spot on. Location is perfect for everything around the Anchorage area. Beds are comfortable and the house was nice and clean upon arrival. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking. A home away from home.

Great Location and Rental Property

Our stay in Anchorage was nice and we really enjoyed this rental. The open floorplan was great and gave us room to spread out and relax! Thanks for the great rental and we'd consider renting again, if we find out way back to Anchorage.

Very peaceful and quiet

Nice property. We only had some minor things such as no dishwasher soap and could use a few more towels and washrags. The bed in master was waaaay soft but slept okay. Overall very nice

Very good location, close to downtown yet far enough away it’s not a busy area. The house was perfect for 4 adults. John was helpful and quick to respond to anything we needed. We want to come back again in the summer and we would gladly chose this property again.

“Gem” is an understatement

The best way to describe this property is perfect. The pictures don’t do it justice. It’s stunning. The location was wonderful. Super comfy beds, well stocked, beautiful kitchen, and we were so grateful for the laundry facilities! Would definitely recommend, and we’d come stay here again in a heartbeat.

Issues but nice enough.

We had an issue with the blinds falling out of the wall and crashing down, luckily none of us were near when it happened. These things happen as it is an older home. Promptly told host and he had them fixed the next day. Last day host and housekeeper showed up 1 1/2hrs before checkout to interrogate and kick us out early. According to host next people were there early and we needed to get out ASAP to accommodate them... never had issues like this before.

There is a wonderful charm to the Chester Creek Gem and it is a perfect location for travelers. A wonderful spot to see downtown and experience some of Anchorages premier locations like the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail, Westchester Lagoon and Russian Jack Park and the APU/UAA Campus and UMED district all easily accessible by a bike path that follows a greenbelt through town. The property has been lovingly maintained and continuously updated to provide clean and comfortable accommodations. I look forward to your stay and am available for any questions or concerns that come up at any point during your travels to the great state of Alaska.
