Great location.

The condo had everything we needed for a short stay. Might get a little crowded for 4 people staying multiple days. The location is great - right in Girdwood and easy drive up to Anchorage. The room and furnishings are a bit dated but everything was clean and worked as it should.

Great value, good locations

Nice size, approoriately furnished efficiency with kitchenette. Small patio in back is on next to side of ski slope. So it's quiet and private. Ground floor of building has bakery - coffee shop with outdoor seating and a gift shop, small grocery.

Nice appartment, good location

Nice sized efficiency with full kitchen, queen bed plus extra bed with trundle. Large parking lot. Condo unit is at base of ski slope, with small patio. Total priva y in back. Good curtains for s reening daylight. Ground floor of 3 story building has bakery and gift shop. Within 5 minute drive are restaurants and grocery store. Trails nearby. Can't get microwave to start. Lockbox won't close.

Quiet spot in a convenient location

We wanted to stay somewhere close to Anchorage the night before our flight out and this spot worked well. It was pretty basic but had everything we needed- beds, bathroom, and some standard kitchen amenities. It was nice to stay somewhere quiet and away from the bustle of the city but still close enough to get to the airport in a timely manner.The property was dated, but the linens were clean and beds comfortable, if a little cramped. (The two twin beds were a single bed with trundle.)There were a lot of great restaurant options in the area, and if we were there for more than a night we’d have enjoyed exploring the shops.The only issue we encountered was the check-in process which involved accessing the keys via a lock box. The box was jammed and we spent about 10 minutes trying to get it to work. Finally got the keys out, but had the same issue getting it to close when we checked out and put the keys back.

Clean little spot right where you want it.

This was a cute little studio apt. The location is spot on. Great access to the mountain and the shops and a quick walk down to Girdwood Brewing. The only thing lacking... mattresses were old, inconsistently supportive and very noisy.

Right on the ski lift; No communication about getting into the lock box to get into the building--we walked around and around the building at 11:30 at night--thankfully there was an agent available to help us figure it out ; the room didn't feel very clean

Girdwood Condo

The condo is essentially a small studio apartment. We thought it was adequate for two persons but a bit overpriced for what it has to offer. Pros: The location is good. The kitchen is well-stocked. The condo is clean and well-stocked with extra towels. Wifi speed is excellent. Cons: The mattresses and pillows are uncomfortable. The double bed is unsuitable for someone 6 feet tall or taller. The furnishings are dated and somewhat shabby. There is no closet space available for storing clothes or luggage and there is very little room elsewhere in the apartment (either counter space or floor space) for placement of luggage.

Girwood Stay

The first thing is that the listing does not do a very good job of telling you were the key is to pick up. I tried multiple doors and some lady saw me looking and told me where the keys were. When we tried the second floor door the key did not work. We had to drag everything back downstairs to the first floor door and then drag everything back up to the 2nd floor. When we got to the room finally it was not as it looked in the listing. We were disappointed in the outdatedness of the room. It looks much better in the listing. The pillows on the bed were VERY thin and did not provide much. The overall appearance and feel of the room was needing updated. Not that we need totally nice but it looked rough. I expected more based off the listing!

Disorganized

The code provided to get inside the key box didn't work. No one answered the phone which went to a vm. I was basically stranded at 4pm with nowhere to stay. I asked around and found where the office was located and another business provided me with a managers cell. Luckily he answered and provided instructions to get me in. The entire situation was stressful and unprofessional. Another business in the building that I asked for assistance informed me that other guests have complained of issues getting inside regularly. I'm guessing they'll start upping their game after this review. Hopefully because the location of this unit is great.

A trip back to the 60's and 70's.

First of all, the room was very clean and had plenty of bath towels and washcloths, BUT.... When arriving, I could not get in. I called several numbers and texted for help. If it wasn't for the lady downstairs who owns the liquor store helping me, my wife and I would not have gotten in. She said this is normal. The pictures, shag carpet, lamps, chairs and tables remind me of the late 60's or early 70's. I could not get the TV to work. Both bed frames are institutional metal looking. The bedspread was a quilt which looked like something my great-grandmother would have made, which was nice, but it had holes in it. The back porch walked off in growth which was over 3' tall and the path was not passable.

Desperately needs updating

If the owner has put a dime into this place since 1990 I'd be surprised- bed, chairs, bathroom all really worn out and tired. Mold spots in bathroom. Great location but get ready for frat house quality furniture, beds, chairs and tables. Two stars for location.

Location was fine but condo building old and the condo itself outdated with out beds, kitchen table/chairs and decor on the walls. I just expected better as a Vacasa property. I would NEVER stay here again. THE PHOTO YOU HAVE ATTACHED IS NOT THE CONDO WE STAYED IN. IT DID NOT LOOK AT ALL LIKE THIS!!
