Välkommen till The Dog House! Vi har ett husdjurs- och familjevänligt radhus inrättat för frekventa resenärer. Det är bekvämt och välutrustade, med en eklektisk blandning av antikviteter och helt nya möbler, några steg från viktiga sevärdheter som tar folk till Old Town Alexandria, Washington DC och National Harbor. Här kommer du njuta av alla bekvämligheter i hemmet. Det fullt utrustade köket innehåller ugn, diskmaskin och kyl / frys med ismaskin. Months Visit

Perfect Trip

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Dog House is quaint, charming, and perfectly located. Balducci's Grocery was a daily stop and made our evenings.

Brooks Family DC Trip 2024

We had a great time in Alexandria and DC. The house was very clean and not too far of a walk to King Street. The house worked just fine for the 5 of us (kids age 8 and 9). Alexandria is a cool town if you like history, shopping, and good food. The free trolley up and down King Street is a great plus.

Great vacay location

We were here for family vacation. The location was with in walking distance of old town for us and close to bus stops when wanting to use the metro. Enjoyed our stay and the owners were so easy to work with! They have the house stocked with anything you could need and have an adorable little place!

Absolutely loved it

This was our first time renting. This place was so welcoming the moment we opened the door. It was so clean and the host has all the daily essentials there for you. It was easy to get around town and super close to public transportation which made it easy to get into DC. I would stay here again.

Alexandria Rowhome Dreams

We had a fantastic weekend stay at The Dog House. So conveniently located, clean, great appointments and cozy! Joel was reachable, but we didn't need anything while we were there. We live in the state, but opted to have a retreat space from our family and friends who were staying nearby at The Gaylord at the National Harbor. We were happy with our choice and the proximity to the commercial area, while being able to enjoy the quaint Old Alexandria neighborhood with all its charm. The bonus was being able to bring our pup along for the fun, too. We hate being away from him and usually have to make concessions with our rentals when considering bringing our dog along. The Dog House is one of those rare diamonds that checks all the boxes!We would absolutely stay here again!

Lovely home in great location

House is in a super convenient location. House is super cute and has everything you need. Joel is a great host and responds quickly. Knocked off one star just for the neighbor. Out of owners control but neighbors decided to have an all out fight at 1 in the morning for over an hour. Again nothing the owner can control that is city living.

The dream!

This has to be the best rental we’ve stayed in. We were there a month and it felt truly like home with everything we could possibly need and the house beautifully decorated and so cozy. We loved everything about it and will definitely return.

Very clean and modern townhouse, close to downtown Alexandria and 15 minutes drive to Washington DC. Many extra perks in the kitchen and basically everything you would need for a relaxing stay.

Perfect Location!!

This property was just what we needed. Walkable distance to shops and restaurants and right off the highway. Loved that the property was dog friendly. We loved having our dog with us and we were able to do long walks with him around town. Joel was very informative about the property and the town. We loved our stay!

Best Place Ever/Best Host Ever

From our first day to our last, this townhome was perfect. The townhome is well supplied with everything you will need for a comfortable stay. A well equipped kitchen, wonderful linens, GREAT location, GREAT ambiance. Close to public transportation, we did not need a rental car. We stayed two weeks and when we had an issue flying out at the end of our trip, one call to Joel and we he assured us we could stay another night. We will be planning a return visit and The Dog House will definitely be our place to stay!

Wonderful weekend

We had a wonderful girls weekend at this awesome place! We parked our cars when we arrived and that’s where they stayed all weekend. Old Town and King St is several blocks away. Everything we wanted to do was within walking distance. The house was very clean and comfortable. We had a wonderful weekend would definitely stay here again.

Awesome experience

We are a family of five grown adults and we absolutely enjoyed our stay here. We all fit and while it was cozy, it was clean and relaxing. The area was great for getting around easily to everything we wanted to see and experience. I highly recomment anyone staying here and Joel was very accommodating. A+++

Great location, great host

The dog house is a great place to stay. We are a family of four and had a great time on our long weekend trip, we had plenty of room for the 4 of us, the house was very clean. The location is hard to beat, this was our second time coming to DC, but our first in Alexandria, we loved it. It was nice walking to king street, down to the water, and just all around. It seemed like we were just steps from everything. Joel was a great host, the house had anything we could possibly need, we had a question while we were there and we got a response right away. This is definitely a place we would stay again without question.

Amazing Stay!

This home is located in a charming neighborhood in Alexandria, VA. It was easy to use the metro to get into Washington DC. We loved going to the waterfront in the evenings to walk around and find a restaurant for dinner. Joel was an amazing host. He was always availabe if we needed anything. I would stay here again.

You can walk to the metro, restaurants, shops and the river; you can grab a Capital Bikeshare and explore the GW Parkway. This home is central to it all.

You will love Old Town, Alexandria. The city was founded in 1749 and is home to many historical sites including Christ Church where both George Washington and Robert E Lee worshiped, Gatsby's Tavern, the Lee-Fendall Home and The Torpedo Factory. Old Town is set up as a grid, with most homes being multi-story townhomes with shared walls, charming gardens and for some, water views of the Potomac River.
