Nice quiet getaway

Everything was wonderful from the start to the end of our vacation. The hot tub was a great start to the morning and the location was great, you can reach plenty of local restaurants and shops from here! Overall a very friendly and peaceful stay.

Quiet getaway

My husband and I take a valentines cabin trip every year to cleveland/helen. This was a super cute cabin, it was easy to get to, and perfectly cozy for two. We enjoyed the hot tub (felt like one of the most private we've been to!) And the peaceful area the cabin was in.

Perfect little cabin for two. It was clean and fairly private. Set up perfectly to maximize the area. We would definitely stay here again.

Adorable cabin in quiet neighborhood.

We had a very relaxing getaway at Couples Retreat. We enjoyed Unicoi Park, Brasstown Bald, Sautee Nacoochee and downtown Helen. Our favorite meal was at Mully's Nacoochee Grill and we always go to the Heidelberg in Helen for Snitzel, red cabbage and spaetzle! We hope to return!

“All tucked away quiet and peaceful”

We needed a quiet peaceful getaway. The location was great. Close to Helen, Dahlonega, and other sightseeing places. The cabin was beautiful! The only complaint we had was the driveway was very uneven and hard going in and out. We were practically scraping the front end of our car. The other thing was the AC/Heat was set and locked. The fireplace was also not workable. We made the best of it and enjoyed the pretty cabin and beautiful leaves.

15 year anniversary

We choose to stay here to get away from the chaos of life as well as celebrate our 15 year anniversary and celebrate returning from a 9 month deployment. The cabin is located in a quite area secluded from the surrounding neighborhoods. Definitely use the directions that the managing company provides in an email. We initially used waze and it did not get us to the cabin. The cabin was clean and had more then enough space for us and our dog. I think our favorite part of the cabin was the reclining couch. After traveling for majority of the first day it was nice to be able to relax with our feet up. Overall we would stay here again but in cooler part of the year so we could do some of the hiking.

Couples Retreat

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love working with GMR. Good rates and awesome customer service. We just live a county over, but sometimes just like to get away with each other for a couple of days still within reach of kids. This cabin wasn't our favorite, but there wasn't anything that we couldn't make work. There were only 2 standard, very flat bed pillows, but we always bring our own. The sofa is definitely end of life, didn't recline. The refrigerator/freezer never got really cold, but the only part we couldn't work around was ice; we had to pick up a bag. There are plenty of linens. The hot tub was great (our last one wouldn't set above 94) and is nicely enclosed for privacy. Also has a smart tv w/it on the porch. The road is definitely a mountain road but lots of potholes to get around, so SUV if you can. It's not super close to things, about 15 minutes to Helen, so great to just hang out together and just leave for dinner. Overall, no issues we couldn't work around, and a great little getaway for us!

Perfect get away

This cabin truly exceeded my expectations. The location was perfect, offering serene views and the delightful opportunity to watch deer roaming from the back porch. The cabin itself was a real gem, featuring a well-appointed game room downstairs complete with a pool table and dart board, providing endless entertainment. To top it all off, the hot tub was a great addition, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. This cabin offers a wonderful blend of comfort and fun, making it an ideal choice for a getaway. Highly recommended!

Nice relaxing romantic stay.

Reviewer Comments: The cottage was easy to find (GPS did just fine for us) and is located about 15 minutes from both Hellen* and Cleveland for dining options. The cabin and all amenities were very clean. We did not try out the campfire or go into the backyard. It looked like it could be quite muddy if there was recent rain, but that would be true almost anywhere in the mountains. We also did not really use the down stairs or pull out couch so we can't really speak to that. The hot tub was clean, but not too chemically. It has a privacy screen that provides an extra level of privacy from the nearby cottages and is in a screened in area to provide protection from bugs.Overall we loved it and hope to return again soon. *We recommend going to Hellen at least once for dinner and going to the Troll Cafe make sure you get a seat by the patio rail so you can watch the chaos of all the tubers coming through.

Cabin is in tip top shape, clean and well stocked with utensils and cooking pot and pans, dishes glasses are all there. We used the grill twice. Always nice to cook out on the deck. The propane tank was fans in danger of running out of gas. Looking forward to our next stay in the Couples Retreat cabin
