The cabin was very cozy, had everything we needed, the setting was gorgeous, the location was perfect, close to Helen but not too close. We loved our stay! Would definitely stay again if ever in the area.

Host was very prompt to respond to questions. Wonderful private location in the woods with lots of wildlife. We were able to bring our dogs along. Everything was well appointed with what you need in the kitchen, paper good supplies etc. Felt very cozy and close to everything with a nice location in between Helen and Cleveland. Would definitely stay again! Loved the relaxing location in the woods.

It was a beautiful location with lots of pluses. Picnic table was a real plus when friends came to visit. Saw a bear the first morning there. Lots of room for family and friends.

The location of this cabin was perfect for us! We were in town for Oktoberfest in Helen and it was only a short drive to and from. The cabin was clean, well stocked and Steve was very responsive to any issue we had.The only negative was that the room with the pool table was kind of small and it was hard to play.h

Super cute cabin on a dead end road with a lot of privacy! Steve was amazing in communication and super helpful and attentive to any questions we had. We were there for our son's wedding, would highly recommend! Only concern if your party has stairs issues there is 1 bed and bath per level. Super cute and well maintained!

The layout of the cabin was ideal for our family. Very well decorated. The location was perfect - very quiet with beautiful trees and wildlife. Definitely worth coming back.

Overall, the VRBO was a great place to stay. it is close to everything and provides a quiet and private setting. on the downside I felt the bed pillows were flat and in need of replacement. we also encountered a scorpion on 2 separate days in the basement bedroom. having lived in Georgia I know this can happen, but the family from Michigan were a little disturb by it. That aside the property was very comfortable, clean, and provided some good amenities. because of our short trip we did not use the hot tub or the firepit. We did enjoy the full deck and got to enjoy a couple good evenings and morning coffee on the deck. I would recommend this property.

Thanks for the comments about Smokerise. YES - the little brown scorpions (that are not very dangerous but can deliver a sting that is similar to a honey bee) are present in the North Georgia Mtns and they do look for warm places as the fall arrives. Movement from outdoors to indoors is common this time of year. As mentioned to you, we have a quarterly pest service that sprays for all types of mountain insects throughout the year --- this season is the season to spray for the fall insects that are moving indoors. We will continue to monitor the cabin for "unwelcomed critters". Stay well and be safe. Best - The Flemings

This is our second time at Smokerise. It’s perfect for three couples for a weekend away. There are three floors each with a bedroom and full bathroom. The cabin feels like you’re away from everything but still convenient to places in Cleveland and Helen. We enjoyed Serenity Cellars one night and Yonah Mountain Winery the next day. The host is very responsive. Would recommend for your next mountain getaway.

We loved our stay at this cabin! The property is so peaceful; our dogs enjoyed the freedom to run around and we loved watching the fireflies in the evening. The cabin itself was very clean and well stocked, and the hot tub was clean and relaxing. It was the perfect weekend getaway, close to restaurants, tubing, hiking, and shopping. Highly recommend!
