Great place to stay with young kids

It was an amazing event for my family. My husband and I took the grandkids on a mini vacation and had a blast. We enjoyed this home very much.

Great stay

My only complaint about this condo is hearing the elevators while trying to sleep at night due to this condo being right across the hall from the elevators but it was very clean! It was also wonderful to be able to walk down the lobby stairs instead of trying toWe would definitely stay in this condo again in the future

This was a perfect spot for a beach trip. First floor and right in the beach! Would definitely stay here again.

Relaxing at the beach

Due to Hurricane Helene. We came earlier than expected and our rental company was accommodating. Very nice location. Clean condo. Everyone was friendly. Loved that there was a restaurant in the complex. Easy parking and transport of belongings with carts for your luggage. Nice sitting area in center of complex. All in all was enjoyable and relaxing.

Great Location

Everything is good about the location except the elevator is super slow ... you will need to elevator to help move your stuff in and out when you check in and check out ... other than that, great spot.

Clean Comfortable and Convenient

It was our 28th wedding anniversary and honestly we just wanted a relaxing stay right on the beach. I wanted to make my coffee in the morning and sit on our balcony to watch and listen to the waves. Our family owned a condo on the 19th floor years ago so we wanted to stay on the first few floors to avoid the elevator. The management company was easy to deal with and they even had our room early which was a major bonus and definitely not expected.

Very Satisfied

Very clean, being on the 1st floor and being able to take the stairs is so convenient as there is usually a wait for the elevators. Condo had everything we needed.

Nice clean property-Pool area needs some improvement

Nice clean property. Stayed first part of March disappointed pool was not heated. When you got a nice warm day there was no shade around pools. Could use some umbrellas around pool.

Great Place

We stayed a month. Place was exactly what we were looking for. It looked just like the pictures. Many restaurants close by. Just a couple minor complaints that did not ruin our stay. The couch was very uncomfortable. And the floors were dirty. There was no swiffer or mop to clean them.

Beautiful condo ! The bad thing about this place is the parking and wait time for elevator!

Such a beautiful place to stay ! We enjoyed our stay …. The only bad thing about this place is the parking and the wait times for the elevators are horrible ! My mother and stepfather is handicapped and I was very upset that there is no handicapped parking right out front of the condo !

Great stay

Overall was a great room that nicely accommodated the 6 people in our family. The decor was nice and the unit was more spacious than we were expecting which was a plus. Great water pressure in the showers and the water stayed hot. Location on 1st floor in the middle was great for going down to the beach or up a level to the parking garage. Only real negatives were hearing the elevator go all hours of the night and the door directly below us that allowed access to and from beach was not working right and would slam very loudly when on the balcony over and over. Overall was still a great time.

Great stay

The condo was as pictured, clean and had everything we needed. The pots and pans were kinda junky, could use some new ones. The view was amazing. We rented beach chairs and umbrella as soon as we unpacked then all we needed to carry to the beautiful beach was a beach bag. We were so happy this was on the first floor as the elevator was VERY slow and when it stopped on your floor it was usually packed with people (everyone was complaining about the elevator). We used the stairs after initial unload. Be prepared to be patient when you first get there as that's when you need the elevator. We loaded our vehicle the night before leaving with stuff we wouldn't use(using the stairs) and that made checking out a lot easier, no need for the luggage cart. The sliding glass door was pretty hard to open, needed muscles! You do have to pay a fee for parking and I'm happy we have a printer at home because you can not sign the contract electronically. Overall, we had a great stay!

Uncomfortable beds, otherwise great.

Nice unit. Great kitchen. Washer/Dryer work well. Close to stairs and easy to get down to the beach. Major complaint is the queen bed. It’s terribly uncomfortable. Like sleeping on concrete. Scratchy sheets. If you are considering this unit, just bring a mattress pad and your own sheets and blankets. Also, bring an eye mask. The curtains let in a lot of light at night. This was mentioned in several previous reviews, so I don’t know that the curtains will be changed. The door to the beach is directly under the balcony. The door loudly slams shut every few might . I will not rebook this unit only because of the uncomfortable bed.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, I was very satisfied with my family's stay at Tidewater #106. The unit was in great shape, very clean,and the management company gets an A+ for communication and follow through The patio light was out and we did not discover it until later the first night as we wanted to sit on the patio and enjoy the ocean. They called to confirm a successful check-in that next morning and scheduled maintenance to come right away. The bulb was replaced immediately. Unfortunately, only one elevator was in operation all weekend. That made it very challenging for traveling with a small kid, but that was out of the owner's control. I'd definitely stay again! This was ideal for an affordable, last minute beach front birthday get-a-way!
