Ca en 90 sekunders promenad till sanden kan du enkelt njuta av stranden för ditt morgonkaffe eller tillbringa dagen med att njuta av solen, mjuk sand och havsbrisen medan du simmer eller beskjuter. Parkera i ryggen, gĂ„ rakt in! Vi har privat, stor betongparkering bĂ„de fram och bak. Vi kan eventuellt rymma slĂ€pvagnar, bĂ„tar och stora fordon, var snĂ€ll och frĂ„ga!

En sann vintage strand stuga duplex, LAUGHING WHALE COTTAGE har genomgÄtt en stor restaurering och renovering och Àr helt ny pÄ hyresmarknaden nu med all den charme och karaktÀr du vill ha för din strand semester. Bilderna sÀger allt: nya fartyg varv vÀggar, ursprungliga tak och balkar, helt nytt fullt utrustat kök och 1. 5 badrum med alla nya armaturer inklusive full storlek tvÀttmaskin och torktumlare! Eftersom denna enhet Àr möblerad för anvÀndning av vÄr familj och vÀnner, hittar du bekvÀma sÀngar, nya och vintage möbler och högkvalitativa sÀngklÀder som Tommy Bahama och Ralph Lauren. Det finns en sluten veranda med klimatkontroll med bord och stolar för att Àta eller spela. PÄ baksidan finns ett tÀckt trÀdÀck och gasgrill sÄ att du kan grilla, spela majshÄl (medföljer) och sitta under paret av ekar som tÀnds för nattlivsnyhet.
Du Àr en kort promenad till flera restauranger / barer och en kort bilresa till sÄ mÄnga restauranger, shopping, golf, minigolf och bowling. Beachy Vibes

The Laughing Whale was the perfect beachy cottage for our Myrtle Beach vacation. Mary and Scott have thought of everything. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed for our lazy days in as well as everything needed for the beach. The beach wagons and towels were super helpful and one less thing that needed to be packed. We would definitely return.

We had another great stay at this beach house rental! This was our second year, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. The hosts truly go above and beyond to ensure that guests have everything they need for a perfect beach getaway. From beach chairs and umbrellas to toys for the kids, they provided all the essentials, making our days by the shore incredibly enjoyable. The house itself is cozy, well-maintained, and just a short walk from the beach, which is a huge plus. We loved the relaxing atmosphere. Thank you for another wonderful vacation; we can’t wait to come back next year! Highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a beach escape!

Always the best choice

We have visited before so this wasnt our first stay here. It was as perfect now as it was 2 years ago. Clean upon arrival, simple check in, owners go the extra mile with amenities and making you feel welcome. This rental is the most bang for your buck. Pack light- it has everything you need.

Family vacation

Wonderful experience! Everything was there and available for us to use. From wagons, extra beach towels, umbrellas (thank goodness , since we didnt know we couldnt use our tent.) We also loved the outdoor shower. The short walk to the beach was so nice too. The whole family loved it and want to stay there again. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay to have a family vacation!

Adorable!

Everything was as advertised for this property and then some. The dual set up was perfect for a getaway with friends and our kids. Conveniently located neighborhood, accessible to the beach and local attractions, we wanted for nothing. Most of all, the small personal touches welcoming our crew went above and beyond. The owners were so responsive and attentive and nothing short of amazing. Would visit again in a heartbeat - probably the best rental experience I have ever had.

Clean, comfy, everything you need!

Wow!!! We are thrilled with our stay at the Laughing Whale Cottage. We came with 3 other couples, and everything about our stay was perfect. First of all, it was incredibly clean. If you are a clean freak like me, look no further - this place was spotless! At one point we misplaced our keys and were looking everywhere - under beds, in couch cushions, etc - and even looking in all those places, everything was impeccably clean. The house was very well stocked, with very nice/thick towels and beach towels, a beach wagon, beach chairs, etc - all of which were in great condition. The layout of the house was perfect for the 4 couples, and the beds were very comfortable. Communication was excellent - Mary and Scott replied promptly every time I reached out and were very helpful. This is one of the best rentals I've ever stayed in, and I come to the beach often. Our whole group loved it and commented that Mary and Scott had thought of everything. Highly recommend!!!

Family Reunion

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this fantastic beach cottage. The host/owners, Scott and Mary are easy to get in touch with and very accommodating. They had such lovely personal touches upon arrival
 Complete with a personalized welcome sign and some delicious treats as well as an adorable Complete with an adorable gift for our infant granddaughter. The cottage was super clean. My daughters in-laws kept commenting on how every detail was taken care of and it was decorated beautifully. We would definitely consider staying here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful place to stay for any beach trip to North Myrtle Beach.

Fabulous Hosts

We absolutely enjoyed everything about our stay at Laughing Whale! I can't say enough about the attention to detail that Scott and Mary offer. Their description of the property was accurate - clean, comfortable and very close to the beach. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and cookware to prepare meals and relax at the house. The front porches were nice and the atmosphere on the back porch was phenomenal - love the lighting! The outdoor shower and shell washing station were awesome. The provision of chairs, wagons and sand toys was very helpful and the age appropriate welcome snacks were fun. I love that even though the neighbors are close in proximity there was plenty of privacy. Every day of our stay we would would find something new that confirmed our choice to stay at this property was the best choice. Thank you Scott and Mary for everything. You truly are 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 hosts!

the best beach vacation

This was the best beach vacation we have had. It only took us 1 min to walk to the beach and they provided everything we could possibly need including chairs, wagons, umbrellas, and towels. We could clean off easily in the outdoor shower. The beds were extremely comfortable and they made us feel welcome from the start with some treats, snacks, and drinks when we arrived.

Perfection

Scott and Mary's home was more than we could have ever known to ask for. The set-up for our 2 families was perfect, with both sides of the duplex, the property was situated as close to the beach as it possibly could be without sitting directly on it, and all of the extras included, from beach toys and wagons, to waters and fruit and snacks for the kids. I would give 6 stars if I could

Prior to booking our stay, we reviewed several properties and could not help notice the amazing reviews of this property. I can tell you that Scott and Mary deserve them all and even six stars if I could. The short walk to the beach and all supplies like chairs, umbrella, wagon, cooler made it very convenient. I had mentioned in my booking request that were celebrating a birthday for one guest and retirement for another and they had some well wishes as well as a little cake to celebrate. I travel often for work and have stayed at several VRBOs and cannot think of a better property and hosts. I highly recommend a stay here and we will absolutely be back.

Absolutely AMAZING!!!

I wish I could give this more than 5 stars! Our family had the most enjoyable experience ever at the beach. This was the easiest rental experience we have ever had. The owners are amazing, they reply very quickly and provide everything anyone could need or want. The attention to detail is outstanding! The cottage is beautiful and very comfortable. It is so nice to pull up to the door and simply walk in. No steps, elevators, etc. Very accessible. This is an amazing beach cottage and we hope to stay there again! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Impressed with how clean it was! The property was very stylish and nicely decorated. The hosts thought of everything and went above and beyond. Home away from home!!!

Everything was perfect! The beach cottage was exactly as described in the listing. Everything you could possibly need was there and more. We had such a great time with the quick walk to the beach, great location to activities, shopping and loads of restaurants to choose from. And did I mention the beach :-). Crescent Beach was great! We walked each morning and night, and the water was perfect with fun waves. We couldn't have been happier on our relaxing vacation at the Blue Whale Cottage. Thank you Mary and Scott. We will definitely visit again!!!

One of the best VRBOs I've stayed at

The house is adorable, well stocked and perfect for a family or friends wanting to stay together and have their own space. Unfortunately, the weather was not the warmest or we would have lived outside on the deck. Both sides of the home are equally beachy and stylish with comfortable beds, a nice sitting area and well organized kitchen. The owners thought of everything, all you have to do is bring your clothes. They had beach wagons, coolers, books, coloring books for the kids, beach chairs, beach towels, games and enough kitchen supplies to make a gourmet meal if that is your thing (we ordered pizza). The location is around the corner from beach access away from noise of the high rises. It was amazing. If you have a chance to stay here, do it.

Just an AMAZING stay

I wish there was a way to give more than 5 stars. Can I give 10 stars? I know there is some skepticism when you see a place with this many reviews and they are all 5 stars, but you shouldn't worry. This place is the real deal. My family and I took a trip before our kids had to go back to school. We lucked out and Mary and Scott's place was available during our travel window. We ended up renting the whole cottage and had both units as there were 6 of us total (3 adults and 3 kids). The pass through door at the front made it easy for us to utilize the whole space. The units had essentially everything you could think of needing. Salt, pepper, spices, bottled water, treats for our kids were waiting for us when we got there. All the little things that you usually have to make a run for once you get to a place, so that you can use it like the home away from home it's supposed to be, are probably already there in one of the drawers or cabinets. Mary and Scott were also great at communicating before, during, and after our visit. From checking in on the ages of our children to make us aware of things we might need to watch out for in the house, to checking in, and also filling us in when there was a power outage in the area. They were just a simple text away. Very appreciated. Also the location is as advertised. You're basically a street and a half away from a public beach entrance. Even better there is a life guard tower right there too. The house does also come with all of the things you would need for the beach. It's just a matter of packing up one of the beach wagons there with whatever you're going to need for the day and walking across the street. There is an outdoor shower to wash off all the sand when you get back and even an area to help you clean up any shells you picked up. Pretty much everything you could think of was thought of for you. Cannot speak highly enough about the property and the hosts. We will definitely look here first the next time we come back to Myrtle Beach.

We fell in love with this property because of it's age and the fact it is part of a long-established neighborhood and we are only the second owners. This duplex is in a great location to enjoy the beach year round, just a street off Ocean Blvd giving us less traffic than directly on the Boulevard but a quick walk to the beach. A prime destination for summertime visitors, North Myrtle Beach has lots of brand new shopping and dining and it's convenient for everything you need, but has a smaller beach town vibe down by the beach.

Gorgeous vintage tongue and groove and beamed ceilings. Ship lap walls, heavy solid 5 panel doors, and 2 shady oaks give this house that old-school beach vacation feel. From the back it is one step up to house level, you can let yourself in whenever you arrive so NO WAITING for check-in! Check-out is just as easy. No lines, no parking shortage, no elevators, NO HASSLE! Easy in, easy out, and some nice outdoor space for relaxing, dining, grilling and a friendly game of corn hole.....
