We had a wonderful stay in this cozy cottage! Immaculately clean and every amenity one could wish for. Excellent communication with the host. Excellent location. Near restaurants and shopping. We will definitely choose to stay here the next time we are in the Old Saybrook area.

GREAT PLACE!!! I spent two weeks here as I had to be in the area for a business obligation. The cottage was immaculate and appears to have been recently redone. The AC works great when needed. The lovely beach is a five-minute drive and you are provided with a pass. The owner is a very nice guy. Can’t recommend the place highly enough (and I’ve left some very cranky reviews in my time).

Amazing place to stay

We had a wonderful stay! The place was cozy and comfortable, and the kitchen was well-equipped. We loved how close we were to great restaurants and shops. Highly recommend!

CLEAN COTTAGE

This is a small one bedroom cottage which i found to be clean and well stocked. It's close to grocery, shopping and was the perfect location for my needs. Owner was nice.

Marriage Anniversary Getaway

very comfortable

Loved the cottage. It is very clean and in good repair. What is especially notable is the decorative touches. The decor lends to the "coziness" and feeling of being "home". Everything from the floral comforter to the extra blanket and the extra goodies in the refrigerator just added to the welcoming feeling. And it was absolutely immaculate. The owner was enormously helpful and available to answer any questions . I highly recommend this cottage!

Convenient and Clean Little Cabin

Definitely recommend this great little cabin. Very tidy and just enough space for a comfortable weekend get away for two. The whole experience was very simple and communication with owner was fantastic! The cabin was spic and span with complimentary refreshments. The only little thing I would suggest is to bring your own pillows as the ones provided were a little flat. We normally always take our own pillows anyway, but forgot them on this trip. Shower was great and kitchen was fully equipped with all the basic needs. Would definitely stay again!

Fantastic stay!

Karl was amazingly accommodating with our needs. We wanted a quiet and relaxing getaway, and he made sure there were no distractions! The place was very clean and well organized with very clear instructions. Location was great as well! Thank you, Karl!

This cabin was awesome, spotless, and totally updated. We loved it and would recommend to anyone!!! There were even many beverages left for us in the fridge. Excellent place to stay, great location.

Girlfriend Weekend Getaway

We were very pleased and very comfortable in our cabin. It was exactly as advertised and pictured and very clean. I especially appreciated the well stocked book shelves! The only (small) suggestion we have is to provide tissues. Other than that, our host thought of everything- and then some! We utilized the list of local sights and restaurants and as a result, enjoyed delicious meals in atmospheric places. I recommend The Cabins without hesitation!
