Den tidigare ägarförteckningen hade över 60 5-stjärniga recensioner. Vi har tillhandahållit några uppgraderingar till huset inklusive helt nya golv, kylskåp och en ny frys. Vi har också uppgraderat madrasserna i våningssalen. Vi hoppas kunna ge dig en fantastisk upplevelse vid stranden.

Vill du ha en fantastisk familjesemesterplats? Bo inom steg från Stilla havet i en av Oregons främsta strandstäder. Denna sömniga lilla strandstad är utmärkt för familjesammanträden eller romantiska helger. Kom och njut av skönheten! Vårt hus ligger direkt framför Haystack Rock i Pacific City, Kiwanda Shores utveckling. Perfekt familjehus, ombyggt nyligen.

Sitt på däck och titta på barnen surfa, eller gå i vattnet i några korta steg. Sopande 180 graders panoramautsikt över Porter Point i söder, Haystack rock direkt framför Cape Kiwanda och jättedynen i norr. Många aktiviteter i Pacific City eller ingen aktivitet alls - det är en enkel plats att bara koppla av på däck och titta på havet. Bara en kort promenad upp till stranden till det berömda pelikanbryggeriet.

Några anteckningar:
Ingen rökning inne i eller nära huset - vi gillar rent luktande strand och hav. Detta är inte din mormors strandhus - men heller inte festcentret! Även om vi hyr ut vårt hus, är det också vårt eget personliga strandhus som vi stannar på ofta också.

Lägereldar - Länsförordningar tillåter för närvarande lägereldar på havssidan av sanddynen. Du får inte bränna drivved eller vegetation.

OBS: Vi kan inte garantera soligt väder eller en fri utsikt över havet. Medan vårt hus är beläget på första raden - med ingenting annat än sand mellan dig och havet - kan vintervindarna nå upp till 100 mil / timme och skapa en sandberm framför alla husen. För det mesta kan vi spade sanden ur vägen, vilket ger en perfekt utsikt över havet från huset. Men andra gånger har vi stormar som rör sig in och ut - särskilt under vintermånaderna - som skjuter sanden och blockerar utsikten. Detta kan inträffa över en natt, så det är svårt att hålla det klart 100% av tiden.

Avgifter - Vi har många som frågar om avgifterna. Serviceavgiften är en avgift som VRBO tar ut direkt till dig, vi tar inte in den avgiften. Vistskatten är en länsskatt som VRBO också tar ut direkt från dig. Tyvärr är dessa avgifter oundvikliga.

Beautiful, updated property on the beach with full ocean view. Owners extremely responsive ( needed to reset wifi box ) and available to answer questions. For us - a definite five stay worth every $$$.

Perfect stay in Pacific City

Had the best time at this property. The hosts were super responsive to any questions we had and quick to reply. The home was clean and cozy. Well stocked kitchen and bedding. We were able to see whales from inside the house and played on the beach all day. Can’t wait to come back next year and stay again!!!

Family at the Beach

Incredibly windy 3 days. The view from this property was the saving grace. We could not sit outside but we were able to watch the entire coast anyway. The westward facing windows are great. The property is well maintained and equipped; I’d definitely stay here again.

Perfect spot on the beach

Can’t get much closer to the sand and sea than this. House was perfect for 2 families with kids. Just enough space if you needed separate times, but close enough for all to hang out together. House had all the basics, even a sand toy box with balls, buckets, and shovels, Adirondack chairs on the patio to enjoy the sunsets, and cozy blankets to help with the evening chills. Definitely enjoyed ourselves and great family memories were made.

Perfect spacious front rooms for group get-togethers.

We have an extended family reunion every year. Other families stay in near by houses. Our house has living space for both adults and children. In addition it has large kitchen and living room plus surrounding deck for visitors to come by and be close to the ocean without being crowded. The owners are very accomadating to save the date. We were pleased to see the the new remodel job.

Perfect Location

This beach house is an ideal location! Situated right on the beach, perfect for playing in the sand, gorgeous sunsets, and always enjoying an ocean view. Property manager was quick to respond to any concerns and very helpful! I would stay here again!

Best family friendly beach house

Our extended family rents different houses, for a reunion, at this time every year. Our house is the favorite for the beach location and the large open layout of the front rooms and the deck.

Family Vacation

We had an amazing time staying right on the beach in the gated community. The house was clean and comfortable. My kids and granddaughter enjoyed the sand right off the deck. We left a kite for the next family.

Didn't Want to Leave!

This was our 2nd stay at the Ocean Front House. Last year we loved it so much, we re-booked for this year before we even checked out. This year we were had such a hard time leaving, we reached out and were allowed to stay one more night. Todd and Katie have been more than accomodating and we can't wait to visit again!

Amazing Views

This is our third time renting this home for our annual end of summer beach trip! We love this house and the fantastic views and access to the water. We have already booked our stay for next year! On the sand serenity

This was a wonderful rental in an amazing location! 7 adults comfortably slept and relaxed in this beachside abode. Good stocked kitchen with views that can't be beat. Quiet neighborhood makes you feel secluded. Definitely recommend 👌

Sweet family memories

We have stayed at this beach house three years in a row...it's been well enjoyed by our small but multi-generational family. The location cannot be beat. It comes with all the amenities as listed and the home is just so pleasing to the eye - especially looking through all those clean windows - to that "ahhh" view. Love it. Lovely hosts too.

Pre-Christmas Get-away

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this beautiful, wonderfully stocked rental home with one of the most incredible views! Everything about our stay was perfect. The owners were incredibly understanding and helpful when we got a bit stranded due to paralyzing icy weather on the coast. We greatly appreciate all they did to help us get back to Portland. We highly recommend this property and will definitely make plans to return to one of our favorite spots!

Yearly highlight

This is our 6th year at this property. We look forward to coming every year. We are booked for 2024. The location is perfect. Our grandkids can play in the sand and we can see them for inside. Of course, we are also out with them. The owners have made many improvements.over the years.

Beautiful View but priced too high

I expected top quality, due to the incredibly high price charged per night.. The furniture was old and damaged, tears in couch. The house was not well cleaned. You could not walk bare foot in the house, feet would get dirty. Fingerprints on windows, I cleaned them myself. Coffee pot dirty. Linens and towels still in dryer. House was beat up, not well maintained. Sand everywhere, outside of my car had sand all over it. On the good side. Beautiful view, games were great, great tv selection, loved the open floor plan, beds comfortable, soft blankets in living room, great kitchen well supplied. Todd the host for the house was great, responded immediately to any questions. We had a good time, but would not rent this particular home again at this price.

Epitome of a "Beach House"

Well, in a VRBO first for us, we had made reservations months in advance and the property was surprisingly sold before our stay. I can imagine that put the new owners in a bit of a pickle, but I feel Todd & Katie handled the situation as well as they could have. We were so happy they agreed to honor our reservation, especially given that we probably didn't have time for our party of 8 to find another available rental in such a great location on short notice. Their communication throughout the transfer/refund/repay process was great, as well as all the way up to our reservation date. Katie did call the day before we arrived to warn us that the previous guest reported a broken washing machine and stained carpet. She very regretfully and apologetically explained that the repair person could not come until we were leaving and that they had cleaned the carpet and were planning on replacing it, but had not had time to since they were fully booked from the time of their closing. The washer, especially, was an inconvenience (with 4 kids that barely left the sand!), but I do trust that they would have had all of this taken care of had the situation been more ideal. I do think they will continue to make this house and it's amenities better and better. That being said, this spot has some major "wow" factor! We had a little bit of rain during our stay, but having a whole wall of windows looking out to Haystack Rock, right on the sand was incredible. We had 2 children, 2 toddlers, and 4 adults and all felt as though we had adequate space. If all 4 kids could have stayed in the bunk room (vs. 2 of them in pack 'n plays), with the adults each in their own bedrooms, it would have been perfect! It's nice that each family had their own side of the house, with plenty of seating in the common areas. All we needed was there- folding chairs, a bin of sand toys, towels, kitchen amenities and fridge/freezer space were just fine. We loved being able to walk to shops/restaurants/tide pools both via beach and road. The stretch of shops and amenities there has expanded quite a bit since our last visit about 8 years ago! However, the small town charm and "hidden gem" feel of Pacific City remains. We'd stay again in a heartbeat.

Varför värden valde detta boende

Pacific City is a truly unique town on Oregon's coast. It doesn't have the overwhelming people of the Seaside/Cannon/Gearhart areas. It still maintains its laid back fishing character. There are plenty of restaurants and shops but you can avoid the crowds! Although there are other houses on the "front row" directly on the beach, our house has more broad views and a large deck. Its truly unique.

Our house is uniqure, not just in being DIRECTLY built on the sand but also the layout. Our house is on the "front row" which we call all the houses on the beach in Kiwanda shores. We think our house is the best house on the row because of its fantastic layout, kitchen, master bedroom and large deck. The views are amazing from all the main living areas and the master bedroom. We had been looking for a house near the beach for some time and instantly fell in love with this house the moment we walked in the door. We think you will too!
