It's true..... location, location, location! And Flotsam truly sits on a premiere oceanfront location in Pacific City. This meticulously clean and well-loved contemporary home is complete with a well-stocked kitchen, comfortable furnishings and bedding, 2 gas fireplaces, table games, puzzles and books. It has beautiful artwork and décor, with hardwood, porcelain tile and carpeted floors throughout. It is the perfect place to get away and truly "experience" the splendor of the Oregon coast.

Magnificent ocean and evening sunset views abound from the wall of windows and deck in the living/dining/kitchen area and the spacious upstairs master suite. Swelling waves, surfers, dories, colorful kites, and seabirds can fill the view. The second floor bedroom windows and deck face east towards the friendly little beach town of Pacific City and to the Nestucca River. This home offers easy access to the beach in front of the house and is a short walk to town or Cape Kiwanda. Because there are two private en-suite bedrooms, it's the perfect house to share, or keep all to yourself! The third bedroom on the ground floor has two bunkbeds and an adjacent full bathroom with a tub/shower combination.

Our family treasures this house and uses it often. We ask guests to take good care of it during their stay and respect our house rules which include: ABSOLUTELY NO PETS (family members have severe allergies), NO SMOKING OR VAPING IN THE HOUSE. NO PARTIES. Neighborhood QUIET TIME: From 10 pm to 8 am. MAXIMUM GUESTS ALLOWED: 8 (per Tillamook County)

We invite you to kick off your shoes and grab the book you've been meaning to read, assemble the kites you want to fly, take a long walk on the beach, and relax into what we fondly call our "beach zone at Flotsam."

Great stay!

Wonderful family time at this property! Had everything we were looking for. I might add the twin/double bunks were a challenge with the kids. Ages 11 and 14. The lower full bunk lacked a suitable mattress. Add a quality mattress and you get 5 stars!

Oregon Coast

The house is amazing. Wonderful windows & decks face the ocean. A large fully stocked kitchen worked well for staying in, rather than going out to to eat. I particularly loved all the wonderful art & craft items hanging through out the house. I would include that access to the beach is a steep climb on the dunes.

Luckert family beach trip

The location is amazing. Sits at the end of the row of houses with a berm blocking the right side from any neighbors. The view is WOW!!. Very private. The house and decor are stunning and very comfortable. Wish there was more comfortable seating for outside. We day deer in the yard and birds everywhere. Even saw a whale. Thank you for being such great hosts.

Relaxing long weekend

We loved our visit to Flotsam! My family from Portland mer our friends from CA to give them their first experience of the Oregon coast. They are already asking to book again next year! The home is gorgeous and well stocked, from rooms to bathrooms to kitchen. The location is perfect, right on the dunes and very quiet. We had panoramic views of both the ocean and the river. We enjoyed being a little bit away from the bustle near Pelican, but still a quick drive to enjoy that area. We can’t wait to come back!

Everything We Needed for Our Vacation

We had a wonderful time at Flotsam! The location is almost as good as the view. The house is very well stocked and very clean. Most days, we boogie boarded right out front of the house with wetsuit rentals from Moment Surf. Other days, we walked down the beach for appies and beers at Pelican Brewing or to climb the “dune” near the Haystack Rock. We would definitely recommend you book here! You won’t regret it!

A Beautiful Pacific City Escape

The house was beautiful, clean, well stocked, and had terrific views of the ocean. The owner was very friendly and responsive. We spent a wonderful several days there in January, warm and happy, watching the storms roll in and large waves crashing onto the beach. Winter is a great time to visit the Oregon Coast if you want to avoid the crowds and get away from it all. We'd love to stay at Flotsam again sometime soon.

Perfect

This property was absolutely perfect for our stay. The view was perfection and it had everything we needed. We felt like welcome guests, not a property renter. It’s the little things that make a stay better. There were more than enough blankets and towels and even the ability to wash clothes. Access to the beach was great- it’s far enough from the main area that there was not much of a crowd and is an easy walk from the house. Only thing to note about the location is Google repeatedly sent me to the wrong house about a block south when we got into town, so don’t roll into town after dark expecting to follow the blue line to the right place. I was very thankful I had a friend who has stayed at the property before and could guide me on where to go.

The Best

Over the years we have rented many houses in Pacific City and our family agrees that this was our favorite. So clean and well appointed; we loved everything about it. Location, light, proximity to the beach, parking. It was wonderful.

Great option in Pacific City

The location and house were both great. We enjoyed being in a small town with enough amenities to get you what you needed. Good sand dollars just to the south. Getting to the beach was pretty easy for full mobility folks, our older family members could do it too, just took more work and time, due to the sand hill you have to go down and up. We didn't fully appreciate before arriving that cars can drive on this beach, and where the cars enter and exit the beach goes right over the access from the house to the beach. Generally not a problem, just had to be a bit more cautious after sunset or when there was fog. On the bright side, this house is immediately next to the area to the north where cars are not allowed. Overall a great place that we will definitely stay at again!

Stunning home with spectacular views and fabulous location

Wow - the house was beautiful, with spectacular views of haystack rock and cape kiwanda. The house was well equipped with kitchen supplies, comfortable beds and towels. The location was perfect for exploring Tillamook cheese factory, the three capes scenic drive and whale watching in Depoe bay. We all loved it and made so many great memories! The property manager promptly answered questions and provided valuable tips on tide pools and more!

One of the best places we have stayed!

Our two families (family of 4 and family of 3) have been visiting the Oregon Coast together for years and have stayed in a variety of different houses (we like to check out different places). This home was by far one of the best we have stayed in. View - between the amazing windows on the main floor and the deck on the second floor, the views were wonderful. You can actually see something from almost every room in the house. The layout of the house is very thoughtful and fantastic for a number of different family situations. Having access to 3 full bathrooms made a huge difference with our 2 couples and 3 teen/adult children - never needed to wait to use the restroom or shower if needed. The kitchen was by far the best stocked kitchen we have ever had in a rental. We honestly felt right at home as they had pretty much everything we could have needed. Many options for dishes, pans etc. THANK You for this! It made the stay even better! Location was good - we have stayed all around Pacific City and although the walk could be a little far - if you don't like walking, it was do-able from the Pelican both on the beach or on the street. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and greatly appreciate the host sharing such a wonderful accommodation. We hope to be back again in the future!

This was our second stay at Flotsam 2. It's the very best of several homes we've stayed in on our trips to Pacific City. The house is lovely and comfortable and the owners have been very responsive. We hope to be return visitors in a couple of years.

This home is fantastic!

We had such a wonderful stay at Judy’s home! The waterfront location cannot be beat. The home was very clean and nicely furnished. Kitchen is well stocked and everything was easy to find. The house layout worked great for our group. We would definitely recommend this home!

Pacific City Gem

Easy and laid back getaway. Property is close to everything you would want to do on the Oregon Coast. Great communication with management. Modern home with solid amenities. Will do it again!!
