The Heart of Julian - Detta charmiga hem med två våningar byggdes 1987 med över 2 000 kvadratmeter utrymme för dina grupper avslappnad njutning. Mitt hem ligger två kvarter från centrum av Julian. Du kan gå till MOMS pajshop och längs vägen stanna vid en av vingården för en liten smak av ditt favoritvin. Restauranger, butiker, spa, gym och museum ligger alla på huvudgatan. Den berömda Gold Mind vars tunnel går genom hela berget är ett kvarter upp samma väg som mitt hem. Lake Cuyamaca är 6 miles resa söderut på motorväg 79 som har en liten restaurang, fiske och båtliv. Vandringsleder på sommaren och längdskidor på vintern. Om du reser 7 mil väster om 79 kommer du att vara i Santa Ysabella som har det berömda Dudley's Bakery med ett brett utbud av läckert bröd och OMG-smörgåsar!

Inredningen i mitt hem är landsboutique med lyx i åtanke, WIFI redo med TV i varje rum. Det finns två eldplatser en på varje våning. 2: a våningen har tre sovrum med Queen size-sängar och ett badrum. Balkongen har en utomhusbostad för att umgås med soffor och solstolar som fångar utsikten över de omgivande träden och tallarna för en mycket mysig atmosfär.

Det finns en privat innergård och en trädgård med grill och sittplatser för sex under ett skuggigt paraply. 1: a våningen har ett läsrum, sovrum, dubbelsäng med eget badrum och garderob med franska dörrar som går ut i trädgården.

Köket är fullt utrustat för kocken i din grupp. Vi tillhandahåller gratis kaffe och varm choklad som du tillhandahåller den mat du vill laga.

Great family stay

We stayed here for two nights with another family in April for spring break. Julian was such a wonderful, quaint town and we were so grateful for this home as home base. We walked into town 3x to eat Julian pie, Julian BBQ, wine taste and get gifts for the kids. Priscilla's place was perfect for our party of 8. She was very detail oriented with the check in process and the guidelines of the home. At first I was overwhelmed by the instructions but then totally understood the rationale behind the details! The house was perfectly equipped with great blankets, heaters in each room, towels, pillows and the kitchen was well stocked with equipment as we cooked breakfast and dinner at home. We appreciated the porch the most, at it was clean and perfect for sitting to watch the sunset and have coffee in the morning. Thank you Priscilla! Thank you Julian! We had a wonderful time and the kids had a blast!

Vacation for Grandma

We wanted to take my grandmother out of town for a week, and she had a great time. The house was beautiful and well maintained. At night it did get down into the 30's and we really only used the pellet stove downstairs to heat the whole house. My brother was in shock with how much the kitchen came equipped with! And the communication with our body was above and beyond what i expected. It was a wonderful retreat, and we would gladly do it again.

Wow! Beautiful property.

This home was beautiful! It was just me & my husband for 2 days, so we didn't use it to its full potential, but would love to go back with extended family. The place was absolutely spotlessly clean. Beautifully decorated, and the location can't be beat. Walking distance to town in just a couple minutes but the walk back is uphill...not bad, just reminded us we are out of shape. Definitely on our list of places to go back when our adult kids come to visit.

OK House. Great Proximity to Town

This property needs some work. Doors all need repairs. Hard to close and get stuck. One of the bedrooms upstairs doesn't have a door so noisy if anyone is up doing anything. Quick walk to town. Nice front porch. Well equipped in the kitchen. I don't think I would stay there again.

Beautiful house!

Went up to Julian to watch the Perseid Comet shower. 3 couples of old friends got together and had a wonderful time at this beautiful house. It had everything we needed and more. Communication with the owner was great. Couldn’t be happier and we would love to stay there again.

We had a great stay

The house was super nice and Priscilla was easy to contact and communicate with. My only complaint was that the bedrooms were pretty warm, even with the air on. But it was on some of the hottest days in summer, so whatever. Oh, and BTW, there is no hot tub even though the listing says there is. All in all, though, it's worth staying here again.

Great Location in Julian

This home is located within walking distance to the center of Julian. There are lots of hiking trails to explore. Our family included grandkids from 13 —> 21 yrs. No one was bored. We were surprised by the multiple large gathering places inside and outside this home. The home was clean and the kitchen is well-stocked with cooking utensils. The owner provided detailed descriptions for the house and was easy to contact if we had a question. Our only regret is that we didn’t have more time to enjoy this home and Julian.

Heart of Julian May'24

Very nice, spacious property. Tree over the driveway drops yellow, dusty pods all over the vehicles. Might be a seasonal occurrence. Everything else was great! Not a disability or elderly guest friendly house. Clean venue, hostess was very responsive and the beds were comfortable.

House is nice and very close to town. Description online was very accurate. Enjoyed our time in the mountains. Hurricane which is once in a lifetime for this area was no problem. House was safe and neighbors and community were very nice and helpful.

Clean, comfortable, and cool place to stay during unusually hot summer day

The place is as advertised. Comfortable beds - lots of towels for everyone. We utilized washer and dryer - that was convenient. We were worried that the a/c unit would not be sufficient for a super hot weekend - but it was - and there are ceiling fans in all of the rooms. We had an amazing pie from Julian Pie Company. Quecho is a quick walk down the street and had delicious burritos too. Very nice place to stay while in town for a wedding.

10 yr reunion for small cohort

We were a small group of 6 who stayed at the heart of Julian, celebrating our 10 yr reunion as graduate students. The house and location were perfect for us. Located centrally, literally in the heart of the town, easy access to shops and cafes. We cooked at the house, enjoying the home-feeling of all being together again. The beds were comfortable and we shared all rooms very easily. The host was easy to contact and was accessible throughout our stay for anything that came up. All we have as feedback is to align the check out time posted in the house with the time posted in the messages, and we recommend the 11am check out time (sent in message by host) rather than the 10am (posted on sign in house). It’s a big house that supports a lot of ppl, and we had to strip the beds, put clothes in laundry rooms, and other specific tasks which took extra time. Nonetheless, we would happily stay again and appreciate the host working with us to be able to rent the home and celebrate the lives and friendships in our group. It was special.

House is beautiful and well maintained. It’s close to town & the gold mine is very close. We truly enjoyed the “hometown” parade on Independence Day, great fun! Thank you for the opportunity to stay in Julian for a few days!

Both Mark and I (Priscilla) just love Julian! I am originally from Tijuana, Mexico raised in San Diego, my entire life (a local). Mark is a mid-western boy from Dayton, Ohio and YES O - H, I - O is a very common chant from Buckeye Fans or should I dare say Occult (LOL).

Varför värden valde detta boende

This is an enchanting story, we were visiting Julian in February of this year 2018 and saw the For Sale sign on this property and we thought WOW! Wouldn't that be awesome, but we were finishing up a renovation project at our home in Spring Valley. Then, 3 months later we were finished with our project and in the market. This home was no longer listed (figures I thought) such a beauty wouldn't remain on the market. We came out to view another home in the Julian area 6 miles out of town, but it was too woodsy for me, I figured something fersure would see me as a tasty morsel.

We then drove into Julian and stopped by the Real Estate office Julian Properties and met Rose. We looked at the listings and behold this home was listed! Woah...Rose explained the Listing had expired and was renewed that same day! THE ODDS! I thought, its meant to be. We then met Kirby Winn and Barbara Shor who then became our agents and we put an offer in that evening.

We were blessed with this purchase and thank God for this opportunity. This will become our future retirement home when the time comes. For now we are sharing this beauty with you. We have poured ourselves and our affection into this property to turn it into our home. We are positive you will feel the vibe and enjoy.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

The fact that its just two blocks from downtown Julian is a mind blower and so convenient. Even when we are there we are just tickled by the convenience of walking down the hill to all the hub bub. The privacy you feel in our home is in how the property is situated up high on the hill surrounded by trees, every window in the house takes in the nature and fills the home with tranquility. The stars at night is a treat, even from your bedroom window, being from the city, you don't see this spectacular show unless there is a city wide blackout (how often does that happen).
