The Oar House är en fantastisk plats oavsett tid på året. Det är bra på sommaren för vatten lek och avkoppling. Vyn är spektakulära, och du kan bada direkt från däck. Det är vackra på hösten när höstlöven funderar på sjön. Inte långt till en Clemson fotbollsmatch och sedan tillbaka till sjön för att njuta av höstvädret. På vintern är det bara lugnt och tyst, och det är en bra tid för vandring och cykling. Detta nyrenoverade hem sitter precis vid sjön. Du måste se det för att tro det! Det finns ett vardagsrum och matsal med ett fullt utrustat kök alla öppna till varandra.

Detta hus har tre nivåer. Det kan hyras med två master sviter och 2. 5 bad eller med fyra sovrum och 3. 5 bad. Den viktigaste nivån svit har en dubbelsäng och den övre nivån svit har en dubbelsäng, en bäddsoffa i sovrummet och ett vardagsrum med en soffa som kunde sova en. (Det är inte en bäddsoffa). Båda sviterna har privata badrum. Båda sovrummen har absolut fantastisk utsikt över sjön. Den lägre nivån har 2 sovrum och ett badrum. Ett sovrum har en dubbelsäng och det andra sovrummet har en dubbelsäng och britsar. Båda rummen har fåfänga handfat.

Det finns tre underbara däck för att koppla av på och äta på om så önskas. Det finns också en äta bar i vardagsrummet med sex barstolar och Matbordet plats 8 bekvämt.

Wonderful weekend getaway

Great house and views with plenty of room and access to the lake. Loved the covered deck and friendly boaters. Would definitely book again.

Charming lake house and great for large families

Oar house is a lovely spot, with everything you need for a family vacation. We enjoyed our stay. You can't beat the lake view.

Perfect lake getaway

We had a multigenerational group that enjoyed the house and location. It’s our second stay and each time gets better-Coffee on the porch, Swimming off the dock, games around the big table and easy access to Landrum and Tryon. We already look forward to next year.

Mom's birthday

Stay to be close to family for my Mom's birthday celebration in Saluda! The kids loved the lake! We had a great time visiting all of the cute small towns in the area, hiking, and rafting!

Great Gathering Place

The house was very clean, well stocked. It offered many opportunities to either lounge on the deck and enjoy the beautiful scenery or play games. If desired, there was hiking, water activities available. The homey atmosphere added to the ambiance and would certainly consider renting again.

Quick Getaway

Property was great for 3 families. Each level has lots of privacy. Owner was very helpful and responsive. 2 small towns nearby with lots of unique shops and restaurants.

Our group was in town for a nearby wedding. We really enjoyed sitting on the big porch and sitting on the dock. House was perfect for what we needed and expected. Would like to go back when we did not have to leave for a wedding. Very peaceful spot

Peaceful, Comfortable House - Great Layout

This was a perfect place for our multi-generation family gathering, although maybe not a perfect fit for all such families - going up and down steps is a requirement for anyone staying here. The location is located between Fletcher NC and Greeneville SC, and is near several popular wedding venues, besides lots of other attractions, natural and man-made! The house was clean, the kitchen was well equipped, and the layout allowed everyone to have some separate sleeping and bathroom space. Parking and check-in were easy, and communication with the owners was great.

What a beautiful place! We came together from MO, NY, and PA to attend our son's wedding. The Oar House was great. We had plenty of room for the eight of us. The sereneness of the Oar House made it ideal for relaxing and visiting. We loved the little towns of Tryon and Landrum. It truly is an escape from reality.

This is a AWESOME Lake house!

This house had everything you could ever need on vacation! We enjoyed staying at The Oar House so much! We found the Oar House to be everything stated and more. Our children enjoyed swimming in the lake and we enjoyed relaxing on the decks. The kitchen was very well equipped, the beds were comfortable, internet, TV and phone service was great to have during our stay. We had 12 in our party and we all had privacy with the way the house is laid out. The paddle boat was a big hit for everyone. We will definitely be back to stay again! This place is amazing! Thanks to the owners for allowing us to stay! I highly recommend this house next time you are looking to stay in the mountains!

Gorgeous home on Lake!

Family with teen kids. Rained most of the time we were there but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay with some board games.. We used the pedal boat and canoe a couple of times. Enjoyed a visit from a large moon-moth, the rare majestic bald eagle and 2 families of geese in the water. Tried fishing but no bites…caught and released one sunfish. Sitting outside on the deck was heavenly….u can hear yourself think!! Owner was very responsive to our inquires and genuinely ensures a good customer experience. Hoping to be back soon.

Super relaxing getaway!

We traveled from Kentucky and had a wonderful time. The house was very spacious, clean and comfortable for all 8 of us! The owners were very easy to communicate with and answered any questions we had. The kitchen was equipped with everything we need. We grilled out a couple of times on the nice grill. The kids used the pedal boat and canoe. We bought some fishing poles at the Walmart and caught a few fish. We crossed the border into N Carolina and went white water kayaking. Make sure you’re in really great physical shape if you try this. You may need to bring your own beach towels. We would definitely stay again

Enjoyed our stay at The Oar House!

The Oar House was the perfect lake house! We loved sitting on the deck overlooking the lake and enjoying our meals there. The kitchen is well stocked and has everything you could possible need. The different floors of the house offered everyone their own space and privacy. Plenty of bathrooms for everyone to get ready. We were there for my son's wedding at Song Hill Reserve and it was very conveniently located for going back and forth to the venue. We also had relatives staying in the house next door which was really nice having everyone so close together. My sons, nieces and nephews enjoyed the paddle boat and sunning on the deck. Would definitely stay at The Oar House again and would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing lake vacation. Our only regret is that with the wedding festivities we didn't have more time to enjoy!!

Nice Family Holiday

Our family used the house and dock for a summer family gathering. We all like to swim and canoe so it was perfect for us. The dock area has a ladder that provides direct access for swimming and floating. We brought tubes and a canoe for extra equipment. There were two adult and two life jackets provided in the rental as well as a canoe and paddle boat. The water was a good temperature for just hanging out in a float and the lake was fairly quite with only a few speed boats and jet skis. The upper and main floor were comfortable. A nice addition was the washing machine and dryer. The lower floor was a bit musty and needed a dehumidifier. This made it a bit unpleasant for those who slept on the lower level. Grocery stores were convenient as was a pharmacy if needed. I would recommend it for families who like to gather around water activities in a quite location.
