Perfect place to relax on the porch with family and enjoy the birds and hummingbirds. Close to Saluda and all of the waterfalls and day hikes in the area. Great home base

We have stayed here 2 years in a row. The farm house is a beautiful place. We enjoyed sitting on the porch looking at the mountains. The farm house was big enough for our group of 8. Ken kept us posted on the weather. Even though we had rain on Saturday we enjoyed playing games and watching TV by the fireplace. We will definitely stay again.

The Escape is an amazing property. The views in the morning were amazing. Everything was well kept and there was a great amount of space. The host also helped with any needs promptly. Overall 10/10 place to stay!

have stayed before (Repeat client) we love the homey feel just like my childhood home. Mr Ken is always anxious to answer all questions . there are 8 of us, as plenty of room and accommodating . so close to all shopping and great vineyards!! C YALL AGAIN

OMG who could ask for more . Views great . The kitchen is awesome. With 4 grown men around I do a lot of cooking.(thats what mamas are for) and I love it Overall everything just felt like we were home!!

Big property and big house. We all had space upstairs and downstairs to play board games, read, and relax. I recommend the property and the owners if you are looking in the area.

Property is Amazing. We had a nice girls weekend away, and there were a total of five rooms which meant that everyone could have their own room which was very nice. And there were two kitchens so everyone had plenty of space to spread out. The property is nice to walk along and get some fresh air and it’s right in line with the town of Saluda where there’s great places to eat

The farmhouse is in a beautiful setting. We enjoyed the deck, relaxing in the rocking chairs. The house is very spacious and the kitchen was well stocked. We will definitely rent again.

IHSA National Horse Show

Our University came to compete at the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association National Horse Show. This home was perfect for us. Plenty of room and not too far form the Equestrian Center.

My family came into town for the weekend and booked the Farmhouse for 3 nights. The place was incredibly clean and had plenty of space for our family. The grounds are beautiful with 10 acres or so of land which includes a great mixture of open space and trees. The property is only 3 or 4 minutes from downtown Saluda and is easy to access. We enjoyed our stay and the communication with the property owner was great.

Everything was wonderful. Communication was great. At one point we lost power due to weather & wind conditions. Ken found a way to communicate with us, giving updates as to when the power and water would be back on.All of our needs were met. Beds were comfortable, and all linens were in good condition. When any concerns were raised, there was openess, and all taken care of.The home is comfortable, well apportioned, and "homey". The porch was great and the view was simply stunning!We hope to be back at some point. Thank you for a great "girls get away". 5 Stars all round.

Perfect for our group

Our work group of 10 ladies gathered for continued education at FENCE on Saturday. With 5 bedrooms and 3 baths, this house held everyone comfortably and was only about 20 minutes away from FENCE. The main kitchen was user friendly, with a second kitchen downstairs, and there was plenty of space to spread out. Wifi & Wifi calling worked great, as there was no cell signal at the house.The house is set back, down at the end of an unpaved road. Directions from owners were valuable (GPS was not reliable and some folks got lost.) Circle drive made it easy for us to get in and out. The grounds were beautiful; the fire pit and big front porch were great for outdoor gathering while the dining room table and main living room were perfect for inside gathering. Owners checked in to make sure we had everything we needed.
