Mysigt Sandwood Cottage på WI River-husdjur välkomna!

Fullt möblerade fritidshus, beläget på Lower Wisconsin Riverway. UNWIND genom att ta en kort promenad ner vår väg till vår privata Wisconsin River Shoreline. RELAX, ta en plats och känna lugnet i floden som flyter medan du njuter av en eld i gropen och ta i solnedgången. Paus vid dammen som matas av en artesisk fjäder som slingrar över bergskanten. Tänk djupt när du går i labyrinten. Identifiera fåglarna i helgedomen eller få en glimt av örnar, vita pelikaner, gäss, sköldpaddor, hjort och mycket mer. Njut av skapelsen runt dig.

Ursprungligen var denna stuga en arméofficerens kaserner på Truax Field, Madison, WI under andra världskriget. Det flyttades till denna Wisconsin River plats på 1970-talet. En familj bodde här tills den renoverades 2006 som en semesteruthyrning.

Awesome countryside retreat with an amazing backyard right on the river. We all had a blast, especially the kids, who were able to detach from the screens and forget about phones and TVs. Would recommend to any family looking for a quite nature getaway. We'll definitely be back!

Peaceful, beautiful river getaway

A wonderful getaway retreat on the Wisconsin River. The cabin is snug and cozy, with great access to a little piece of the Wisconsin River. If you want to go to Spring Green or Madison, you can easily do so, but if you want to just sit by the river and see gorgeous sunsets, you can easily do that, too. The property owner was easy to communicate with and helpful. Strong recommend.

Two bedroom house on a Wisconsin River property.

The place was very clean, had two bedrooms with very comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen, and a nice bathroom with a clean shower. It is a little bit of a walk down to see the river, but there is a very nicely mowed lawn area and 4 Adirondack chairs, and a big fire pit. There's a bunch of firewood very close to the fire pit. I met Travis, he was very nice. I recommend this place!!!

Cabin on the Wisconsin River

The cabin was nice - not spectacular, but definitely comfortable, and affordably priced. A short path in the back led to a chairs and a fire pit on the river shore. We couldn't ask for more for the price.

Wisconsin River Retreat

This is the second time I’ve stayed at this beautiful cabin. It was once again wonderful. Peaceful, clean, close to the River, easy drive for food and outdoor activities. The owner Travis is friendly, easy to reach, and responsive. Highly recommend!

host let us check in early as it was available.. cabin is right on the road but a great quiet setting…the brewery in Sauk city has good food and drink, and we lived the little coffee shop next door to it… and great hike atGubraltar rock inly 20’ away

A perfect temporary home!

Cozy Comfort on the Wisconsin River

My partner, dog, and I had a wonderful stay! The cottage was comfortable and met our needs. The property is beautiful, and we loved the access to the river with our kayaks. Mazomonie and Sauk City are cute little towns to explore with some really good food! (Highly recommend Green Acres for a supper club experience and The Old Feed Mill for some cool ambience .)

Peace on the River, Comfort in the Cabin

The place was perfect for our gals get away. The cabin and property were perfect for relaxing and reconnecting. We enjoyed time down by the river during the day and at night with the fire (plenty of wood and chairs). We were excited to see a couple of eagles, turtles and even heard some crazy coyotes in the distance. The cabin seems very updated, nice size and comfortable furniture. We also enjoyed hiking, biking, breweries, winery, and a bit of shopping in the area. Thank-you!
