Devil's Head Ski & Golf Resort ligger ocksĂ„ ca 5 miles. Circus World Museum och historiska centrum av Baraboo bara 5 miles ocksĂ„. PĂ„ en snöskotervĂ€g till spĂ„r. Den ökĂ€nda Wisconsin Dells "Waterpark Central" bara 12 miles away, liksom Ho-Chunk Casino. Ännu mer inom 40 miles .... vackra hus pĂ„ Rock attraktion.

Ski Trip Year 2!

We had just a wonderful time at Granny‘s cottage! We stayed here about two years ago for our first friends ski trip and loved it so much that we booked it again this year. The location is great for skiing at Cascade Mountain. The home is tucked away, nice and private for a fun getaway.

Great for our ski trip!

My friends and I stayed at Granny’s cabin as a place to crash during our ski trip. The cabin ended up being the perfect spot for us with plenty of space to rest after our skiing adventures. The cabin is stocked with tons of fun games and movies that kept us entertained in our down time. The only issue we ran into was one of our group member’s car struggled to get up the unplowed driveway. I definitely recommend a 4-wheel drive car if you stay here after a heavy snowfall. We are definitely interested in staying here again for future ski trips!

Great choice for weekend hiking trip at Devil’s Lake State Park. The place is convenient, well set up for cooking and grilling, clean and well stocked. It feels very rural but you’re only a quick drive to the state park, grocery, restaurants and anything else you need. Gretchen is a terrific host- very quick to respond to any question. She even ran out and quickly bought a new grill within the hour when the one on site didn’t work.

Annual fall trip

Gramma’s cottage was the perfect stay for my family. We had a wonderful time sitting around the fire pit and enjoyed the peacefulness of the yard. We will definitely be back! Thank you Gretchen!

Cozy, comfortable, and clean

This really felt like home once we got settled in. The space is decorated nicely with plenty of space to set out our personal items. Everything was very clean and smelled fresh. The location was perfect - close to town but secluded for privacy and relaxation.

Family Vacation

My family was camping at Devil’s Lake and this home was perfect. Close enough to participate, yet not stay in a tent. The property was quiet, clean, and had the a well-equipped kitchen. We were very happy with our stay

Perfect Spot

Summer stay

Perfect location for Devil’s Lake vacation, literally short 6 minutes drive just remember to get to the beach earlier on busy weekends. Plenty of space for 5 year old to roam and for little dog to get his exercise in. Kitchen and rooms have all you will need and more (we did brought our own air fryer as my 5 year old likes what she likes :)). Quick drive to Wisconsin Dells so it’s easy to go explore there too. We visited during extreme heat and we are glad to to say between the trees and ac the house was always comfortable

Close to Baraboo & Devil's Lake

The cottage was in the middle of nowhere, but 10 minutes to both Baraboo and Devil's Lake. The kitchen was fully stocked, more than any place we've ever stayed before. Any question we had was responded to within a reasonable amount of time, often minutes.

Great cabin & location!

Beautiful area! Cabin was well equipped with kitchen equipment and plenty of towels and washcloths. House was plenty big for four people. Easy access to Shopping in Baraboo. Circus World Museum only a few minutes away also a fun train ride in North Freedom.
