Wolf Crossing är en liten stuga med 1 sovrum i Silver Gate cirka 3000 'från nordöstra ingången till Yellowstone och cirka 3 miles från Cooke City på Highway 212 (National Park Road och Beartooth Highway). En grundläggande stuga gammal stuga med varg tema. Den har ett badkar med dusch, en queen-size-säng, ett litet kylskåp, en mikrovågsugn, en brödrost och en kaffebryggare. Det finns en liten veranda. VI HAR BARA TILLFATTAT SATELLITT-TV MED 150 KANALER SOM ÄR DET TRÅDLÖSA INTERNET FÖR DIN BASSA.

Det finns en allmän butik i stan på gångavstånd, samt Log Cabin Restaurant och Sun Dog-butiken. En bergsbeställningsbutik ligger också inom gångavstånd. Soda Butte Creek ligger tvärs över gatan ungefär 600 meter bort. Förutom Yellowstone National Park, är vi omgiven av Absaroka Wilderness samt Gallatin National Forest. Fantastisk jakt, fiske, vandring, längdskidåkning, snöskoter, kajakpaddling och djurliv. Denna lilla stuga gör ett lugnt och unikt basläger för en värld av utomhusaktiviteter. Observera att det är en gammal handbyggd stuga. Vi har tallmartens och rävar runt ständigt äter möss. Jag skyller på deras slapphet om någon skulle dyka upp.

Beautiful area close to town on the main road. It is a sweet spot where you can enjoy nature and be close to Yellowstone and surrounding attractions. Good communication from the host! Would love a few more electric outlets but not the end of the world. Would stay again!

Cabin small and homey. Everything is clean and feels nice. Microwave and coffee machine were super helpful (theres also a toaster oven). Literally like 5 minutes from the north east entrance to Yellowstone and then lamar valley is close by which is awesome for wildlife and is beautiful. Thanks so much

It’s great little cabin to stay near the NE entrance of Yellowstone. It’s a no frill cabin, but has the basics of what you need.

The directions to the property were awful and confusing. It took longer than it should ha e to find the correct cabin. "Rustic" is correct; the ground can be seen through the floorboards, light comes in the front door. We only had electricity, water, heat, and wi-fi (the only communication option) the first night. Due to an electrical line damaged, the power went out... along with the water and everything else. There was no generator backup. We found different accommodations as the fix was more than 72 hours.

Nice Stay

Great stay outside of Yellowstone! The property manager was very responsive. This is such a quaint getaway. We also saw a lot of wildlife in the area!

Our favorite cabin

Clean, cozy. Comfortable cabin, perfect for sleeping after a busy day in YNP. Surrounfed by tall pines, joyful birds, close to town for ice cream and beer.

Cozy Cabin

We were very happy with the cozy little cabin. It’s tucked away but with amenities nearby. The Yellowstone entrance is just a stone’s throw away. This cabin is for people looking to unplug and enjoy the beauty that nature has to offer! Thank you for a most pleasant stay and experience.

Perfect location!

This little cabin was in an ideal location for visiting Yellowstone and seeing lots of wildlife. If you plan to have meals, keep them very simple as there is only a microwave for cooking, and the stores nearby have limited stock and are very expensive. If you just need a place to sleep it is a wonderful and less expensive alternative to staying at the park lodges or hotels at the busier locations (west and north gates).

The only thing that kept me from giving all of it a five-star was the name of the cabin door. I was looking for Druids and found Slough. After a 5-minute debate we decided it was the right cabin because of the description of the vertical outside Timbers.

Rustic

Really enjoyed the rustic atmosphere of a small cabin in the woods. Very close to wolf watching in LaMar Valley. Greeted by Deana and then John who were there to help us as needed. We has an awesome adventure in Yellowstone.

Rustic Bliss

Immaculate old log cabin, not big enough for a family but two fit very comfortably. Cozy, warm and private. Well stocked and appointed with microwave, coffee pot, tv, heater, flush toilet, shower, refrigerator and wifi. We loved our stay here and the attendant explained the cabin was over 100 years old.

Most was good.

Location ideal. Bed ideal and the price was competitive. Shower water temp was very difficult to regulate. I would have liked a few more outlets. One on both sides of bed and one at the table. Lighting could be improved as well.

The cabin identification was inaccurate. The description was correct, but the name was wrong. It also failed to mention that it was connected to another cabin which took away the privacy because you could hear everything going on in the other cabin. (See photo below)

Good little cabin so close to north east entrance to Yellowstone

This is as advertised a rustic cabin close to the entrance to Yellowstone. Good bed and all you need. Our only deal is how close to the road it is, just a few feet. So our idea of chilling on the porch, which we did, was not what we expected. A stack of tires hampered the environment too. So good place, too close to noisy highway for us and a little effort on the surroundings would make it a much better stay.

Virtually no sound barrier between next room. Cabin name was mislabeled. Dirty room and bed spread and blanket. Difficult access to outlets. Mouse trapped in trap. Larger gritter scratching and gnawing bottem of floor from under the cabin fro 3:00 AM until I stated moving in the AM. Sign identifying the VRBO. sign was very hard to see and covered by a flag which made it impossible to find the driveway. Site manager was pleasant but was residing in the cabin I was assuming genes to. She said the names of the cabins had changed.
